Ooh, then we'd be neighbors. I drive by the Barracks all the time.
My dream job would be anything involving working with animals. My nightmare job would be exactly what I am doing right now - Executive Assistant. I hope the majority of us gals are working on ways to land that dream job. I'm still in the application process at Purdue for the Vet. Tech program. Sending off my essay today to complete my application paperwork and then I will be waiting to see if I get in for Spring. It will take me years to finish the program while still working, but at least I will be working towards doing something I love instead of just sitting here rotting behind this desk.
When I was an art student at Ohio State I used to talk to the guy who ran our wood shop (where we built the stretcher frames we stapled our canvas to). He worked a lot with wildlife and had applied to and been rejected by the OSU vet school four times. He finally got in on his fifth try. I understand there are only a handful of veterinary schools in the U.S. and it's extremely tough to get into any of them. God, I love veterinarians. I always say my dream man would be a veterinarian with a strong background in home improvement!
