Cathe:
I started your work outs recently. You refer to the teardrop muscle. Which muscle is this? Quads? Tensor fasciae lata? I did a search of the forums and found a couple of posts by you in which you recommend leg extensions to develop the teardrop, but could not locate a definition. In one of your posts you refer to teardrop effect. Is that different from the teardrop muscle?
Thanks.

I'm not the correct "Cathe", but I think that I can help you out. I believe that Cathe is refering to the Quad, just above your outer knee where it pops just a bit and looks like a "teardrop". I've never heard of a "teardrop" muscle before, and being that I've taken anatomy I would have thought I would have by now. So, I'm not sure what muscle you are referring to in the end of your post. But what I explained earlier is what I believe that Cathe is referring to.
Hope this helped.

Kathy

It is the vastus medialus (I believe) the quad muscle on the INNER part of the knee (the one that gets big and hard as a rock in professional cyclists).
