Hi Cathe. I enjoyed Slide and Glide this morning (great travel workout) and realized I don't think I have good form on this exercise. How wide should my arms be? How staggered? Thanks, Nancy
The main thing is that your shoulder is not so far away from your body that you can't lower body down. If the arm is too far forward the movement will strain the shoulder. Only go out far enough that you feel you still have control in addition to the challenge!
Hi Nancy! You can do either or but plank position will be much harder as it will be more of a tricep push up. I usually put my hands in normal push up position and then I move one hand about 4 inches lower for the requested amount of reps and then switch sides.
