What is the best for fat reduction

Cathe, I have some excess body fat I'm trying to loose. I eat pretty clean most of the time and work out usually 2 times a day 5-6 days a week. I am looking to loose more body fat and is it better to do more cardio or more weights? I usually lift weights for upper body 2 times a week and lower body 2 times a week. The upper body is usually total upper body 2 times a week for a week or 2, then I change it to split upper body 2 times a week for a week or 2. I try to always change things up. So any help would be greatly appreciated.
 
Hi firemedic. Clearly I'm not Cathe, but I shared this a while ago after seeing this great advice from a site called Metabolic Effect. Not trying to step on Cathe's toes at all, and she might have different thoughts, but the folks at ME were quite straight forward on this question, with their bottom line being gain strength in the gym, lose fat in the kitchen.

"Too often people simply say “I am eating right/good” and they don’t realize this simple fact: if you are not getting results then you are not eating right.

If you are not getting results in fat loss, then no matter how good you are eating, it is not good enough for you in fat loss and you are going to have to take it to the next level.
