What Happened to.....?

During a search for random info. the other day, I came across a couple of posts from former forum members- hippa hip (hips?) and bobbie. I always enjoyed their posts.

That got me thinking. I wonder what happened to them, and to others who have posted for awhile and then just disappear. Do they go to other forums, stop working out w/Cathe, or is it something tragic? (which I guess the two examples stated could be tragic to some degree).

Even as a mostly lurker for the past couple of years, I just expect certain people to post and get to know them by those posts. It's kinda sad when they disappear. (LauraMax, I would miss your honest and sometimes feisty posts!)

I remember hippa, I met her at the 2005 RT, she is a fantabulously beautiful woman & a sweetheart to boot--if you're lurking, please come back!

I remember Bobbi too. The chicks rule lady, right? I think she'd been a forum member since day one.

Now I guess I'll just have to keep myself entertained by seeing how many of your (LauraMax) threads get one star. We ALL know who is doing it. It's like a soap opera around here. But I must say that you have handled the situation with a lot of class. I can't say that I would have done the same!

I am fairly new...because of location we could not get a decent internet connection, so I guess LauraMax is my hippa and i would really notice if I did not see her (your) name pop up. The avatar alone makes me grin... alot.
We need less negativity and more funny. There is enough going on out there that when I come in here I want to smile not furrow my brow and scowl at the screen. Such drama ladies.
Lets save it for our PMS posts when we need comfort for eating that...I mean those...I mean the entire bag of ...whatever I got to first

Oh, it's (rating LauraMax's threads with one star) not a super recent thing. It's been going on for a couple of months now. I find it very high school, but regardless, I really wonder about, and as strange as it sounds, miss people who posted a lot and now aren't even on the forum. It would be like Kathryn suddenly disappearing! Or Fitness Freak. There are about 4-5 people whose threads I always read. I know that I will either laugh my butt off, learn something new, or both at the same time, which is a tough thing to do, IMO.
