What exercises can a pregnant lady do?

Okay, you guys have definitely made me even more nervous!!! But there's nothing I can do about it... just eat healthy & try to stay with my current exercise regimen. I do expect a lot from myself, always have. I am planning on having one more baby after this one, but I won't do it unless I'm back to my pre-pregnancy weight. Maybe I'm selfish, or unrealistic...but I just can't help it. I've seen too many ladies accumulate weight with each child & it scares me!!!! I'm 5'8"" and 140 lbs presently, and it's difficult to not wish for my 120-lb 20-year old body. But I've accepted the 20 extra pounds & the 10 years. Just don't give me 20-lbs per 10 years!!!

You will do just fine!!!!!! Keep exercising and eating healthy. One of the reasons I dropped weight so fast after the last baby was that I got constant breast infections. This was somewhat of a candida problem (among others) so I had to cut out all sugar, fruit, honey, everything and all carbs like breads, crackers, pasta. I did eat lots of salad (practically lived on it) with no dressing as I couldn't have any vinegar or sweetener etc. I ate beans for dinner at night and snacked on nuts, but nothing else. The weight came off really quick. I had a very slow metabolism (was diagnosed in the doctor's office) before the vegan diet and lots of exercise (I'm not sure where I'm at now), but I think its a little more efficient.

I'm hoping to not gain so much with this one either, that's the plan, but we'll see how it pans out!!

Well, I haven't gained any weight yet ;) (I'm only 8 weeks along).I did breastfeed my first one, so I KNOW this helped get the weight off quicker. I don't think I have the discipline to only eat dressing-free salads & nuts! Wow! Way to go! I have been eating quite a bit lately. I seem to get nauseous & it only goes away with eating. I can eat anything and it goes away. It's the strangest thing! One forumer suggested that it was due to hypoglycemia. I don't know, but it's nice to have a theory anyway! I haven't gotten any heartburn yet & that is a real good thing. I remember I had that sooo bad with my 1st child. I could do without the pimples and fatigue though!...
