What else should I get?

Hi Everyone ,

I am new to Cathe’s workouts, and this is my first time posting here. The All Step workout was included with my new step, and I’m totally hooked! So far I have PUB and PLBody, and have the Rythmic Step dvd (on back order). What would you all suggest I add to complement the workouts I have? I am mainly trying to lose fat (I’ve been following the Body for Life ‘diet’ for about a month) and tone up.

I was thinking of trying a cross training/circuit training workout, or maybe another step video for the cardio, but there are so many different choices, I’m at a loss.

Sorry for the long post, but I’m so excited to have found this site and Cathe! I usually get bored quickly w/workouts, and this is the first time I actually look forward to working out each day! Thanks in advance……….:) :) :)

Yes, we all know the feeling! You are now OFFICIALLY hooked! :7 I think that the CTX (Cross Train Express) Series would be an excellent series for you to get because you will get a lil' bit of everything Cathe does in other workouts. Step, Kickbox, Hi/Lo, Circuit workout and also Interval workouts. There is also a workout just for the legs. It is a fun and effective series in a shorter format if you are time pinched. If you need, I can link it for you so you can read about each workout. Let us know what you think and WELCOME! Came back to give you the link:

Another excellent step workout is Step Blast. Powermax is a particular fave of mine.

You could also consider adding an intervals workout to your weekly fitness plans, and Imax 2 is the best: great moves, fab music.

For circuits, consider Circuit Max (toughest of the lot), Bootcamp and the new High Step Challenge from the Hardcore series. These will all help increase your overall stamina.

Consider also some kickboxing to round out your routine, of which KPC is the best and most true to kickbixing.

Thank you both for responding so fast!

Clare, just a quick question, what are the circuit workouts geared towards, endurance, strength, little of both?

This might be a good option for me, but boy, I'd love to get my hands on that kickboxing workout!

Thanks!
