Do you have a treadmill? It's a huge investment I know, but one of my reasons for buying one about 5 years ago was to get hubby to do SOMETHING ANYTHING, because he's a couch potato. I then told him how much fun it was when he was treading while I was Cathe-ing, that I loved hanging out with him during that time. He only does a half hour of walking a day, but compared to nothing, which was his previous situation, that's pretty good. When I'm not working out at the same time he's treading, he can watch BOND, JAMES BOND movies, or reruns of 24, or whatever, and he's happy.
If your hub wants to do weight work you might consider the original Ripped, it's pretty straightforward, good for beginners with all the form techniques, and I THINK it would appeal to guys. My husband likes to ogle Jari when I do that workout, although he's not yet picked up a dumbbell...
