What do you think of Drill Max?

Hi I just purchased Drill Max. While I'm waiting for it to arrive, I'd like to hear your reviews. I am looking for a Cathe cardio that was not step. I watched the video and it looked like it might be just what I needed to shake things up a bit.

How do you use it? Is it intense? I love the intensity of Imax 2 and Body Max 2, and KPC. Is it along those lines of cardio intensity?

Love it!!! Its a toughie, though. The thing with DM is that none of it is that hard individually, but when you package the whole thing up - LOOK OUT!!!! Some of the cardio portions use a step, but nothing fancy. The wts are all relatively light wts, as it is a circuit workout, but there are many reps, and the pace is a normal or a bit fast, which means the cardio never completely goes away. The double cardio mix is tough - all the cardio 2x through - about 60 mins, but tough. There is no ab-specific work in this, but with the pushups and the other wt work, they do get used, as assisting muscles. Good, solid work all around
 
I love, love, love this workout. It's my go-to workout when I want something hard. I love doing the Ultra Cardio Premix, which is all 6 drills back to back. It's tough!!! It does use a step for some drills but it's not dancy.

I agree with the others - it's a fun, tough workout. Personally, I feel like the intensity is right up there with the Imaxes and BM 2. The premixes are great too. I think you'll be pleased. Enjoy!!

I don't think you will be disappointed! I think BodyMax 2 is awesome - drillmax may be slightly less demanding than BM2, but in my opinion, drillmax is more challenging than KPC. Drill Max is so much fun - you get a good calorie burn and the time flies by! Don't get me wrong, I LOVE all of these workouts - I just thought I would try to rate the degree of effort I put in for the standard workout for each of these dvds - I am not taking into account premixes. Too many variables!

I agree with what everyone says - I love Drill Max - you won't be sorry! It also has some great premixes which I do frequently.
 
I enjoy Drill Max!! I also enjoy the premixes and do one of the pre mixes more than the whole workout! I enjoy the variety that DM offers!
 
I could only do the warm up and three drills today!!! This work out is tough. I'm going to do the warm up and other three drills tomorrow. Thanks for the reviews everyone!!!

This workout is sooo much fun! It is hard, but it is so fun, it doesn't feel it! And wow, the sweat! It's definitely a sweaty one :)

BUT the cardio premix is awesome, and if you make the weights heavier, you can get a pretty good weight workout too. Definitely fun. And Cathe looks really happy in this workout. ANd it's pink> Which is always good!
 
Wow - it's been a long time since I've done this workout. I pulled it out and did it this evening. It was so much fun! The time just flew by. I went into the workout thinking I'd just do the first 3 drills, but I completed the whole thing and smiled the whole time.

Cathe's the best! I might do Leaner Legs tomorrow for Labor Day.
 
I just did Drill Max today for the first time in about a year. I usually do Cardio Fusion and get the 6 cardio drills from DM in that, but decided to do DM it it's entirety for a change. Wow, it's tough! I love it except the walking lunges, which I don't have room for, so I did standing lunges instead. The firewalkers and wall squats are killer!
 
Love DM. Love the music in it as well. I actually use the WU in DM when doing total body weights. I always fit it into my 6 day rotation, so guess it's a fav of mine. I find myself reaching for it more then BM2. You can't go wrong with DM. And wearing pink, what more could a girl ask for. Have fun with it!!
