What do you think is going on?

On June 1, 2008 I bought on Ebay a set of FIRM weights (the pretty pink ones). It was mailed out on 6/4 by USPS. This is what the tracking information says:

It seems like it is stuck in Forest Park, Il. for some reason.
What do you think is the problem? should I do anything?

I wonder if your weights are getting the complete tour of Forest Park, IL. I hear it's an exciting place. ;)
 
I would go to your local post office with this information. They should either be able to get in touch with that post office, or give you the information so that you can do that. It's been almost 2 weeks - time to get them on the horn and get your package moving!
 
I agree with Shana.

The post office is usually very good about locating packages for me. All you have to do is call the location it was last scanned at.
 
No clue what's going on in Forest Park but you can call UPS and ask what the deal is since you have a tracking number. They are usually very helpful.

Thank you everyone for your help! I will have to give them a call & find out what the problem is.
I emailed Customer Service & they said that it was mailed out yesterday, but looking at it last night it looked like it was still there :-( So don't know waht is going on.
 
The UPS distribution system might be messed up because of the extensive flooding in the Midwest. This is certainly a frustrating situation, which hopefully will be resolved soon.

Oh dear...
You could call them and ask about it, but I would be prepared to be massively disappointed in the level of customer service you're going to get.

The PO is HORRIBLE here in Chicago (or any part of it), and tragically slow - as you can see.
I'm quite sure that they'd tell you that they don't have it, and it's on it's way....which may or may not be true.

Usually when I see tracking results like this, I get the product around a week or two later. That is, if they actually deliver it...and IF they bother to leave me notice that they've received the package at all.

I have reached the point that I will pay to AVOID anyone who ships via the post office. If "standard" shipping means PO, then I'll actually pay the twenty or whatever dollars it takes for it to ship via UPS. At least then I know I'll GET whatever I've ordered!
Pretty much everyone I know goes by this same idea.
