What do you do....

after you have eaten to much? Just wondering what other tricks of the trades there are.
I have about 2lbs ( I know...gasp!:eek::eek::)) that won't budge. Then this past weekend I ate way to much on Fri night, had another big meal at my inlaws on Sat night and I now, I just feel bloated and puffy:mad:
For me, drinking lots and going to bed hungry usually solves the problem.
What tricks does everyone else have? I know its only 2 lbs (probably 3 after this weekend) but you kind of have to nip it before 2 turns to 5 and 5 turns to 10...next thing you know you have 15 lbs to lose:rolleyes:

Lori:)

I cut starchy carbs out for about 3days. Just eat lean protein, fat, and green veggies. I'll have 2 oranges or one whole grapefruit for my fruit.

For the feeling you get when you eat too much, top off your meals with a cup of Eater's Digest Tea by Traditional Medicinals (you can buy it at whole foods, regular grocery stores, even walmart carries it now in its tea section). It aids in digestion and always helps me when I eat a meal I know will make me feel less than stellar.

Lori,

I totally agree, that's why I weigh every day. I also get right back on track & limit sigar intake (that's a biggy for me). & I try to not beat myself up & say it WILL come off!

I take a digestive enzyme which clears up that bloated and stuffed feeling. Then I just watch what I eat for a couple of days.

Hey Lori,

I know what you mean about those 2 lbs turning into more! If I eaten my way threw a weekend I stay away from the carbs and sugars and drink A LOT of water.

Drill Max for me too- the whole thing. :) Plus water and limiting carbs for a day or two gets me feeling back on track. I think if I drink a lot of water and workout really hard for a day or two immediately following my indulgence, it tends not to stick, if that makes sense.
