What do you do with your home movies?

I have tons of home movies/short clips from video cameras, flip videos, iPhone videos and I'm determined to organize them this summer. What do you use to put your videos together? Do you put them on DVDs or just watch them on your computer? I'm trying to reign this beast of a project in before it gets out of hand!

Every year, my DH puts together an imovie with clips from the year and background music. We started this when we had our first baby... two more kids later, we're still doing it. It's like a video babybook. We give them to our parents each year too, and they love it.

Do you have to have a Mac to use iMovie? I love the idea of putting everything together for the year - I definitely work in spurts. I only develop/upload photos once or twice a year!

This is something I definitely need to do too. I've got tons of movies on my old 8MM tapes plus a couple years worth on my digital video cam. Thanks for posting this thread...maybe it'll get me going on organizing my home movies too

I'm pretty sure you do have to have a mac to do imovie, but there are other movie programs out there for pcs.
