What Cathe Workouts are considered "Circuit Training"?

I am trying the M&F rotation outlined in their magazine. I've got some great ideas, but I am clueless on what workouts will fit into this rotation.

The rotation says that you should use "Circuit Training" the first week. I have almost all of Cathe workouts. I read that I could probably incorporate BC as a "circuit". Any ideas on any other Circuits?

Any help will be appreciated!

Thanks,
Tpridgen

I think Aquajock has given you the complete list, unless you want to add Boot Camp as some weird kind of circuits.

I just want to add that that I really catch my breath on the Viper and Cardio and Weights, so those are not as challenging to me as the others.

MFH's rotation recommends you choose one exercise for each major muscle group and go through the circuit three times (e.g., one set of leg presses, deadlifts, one-arm dumbbell rows, push-ups, military presses, biceps curls, triceps extensions, crunches, and repeat twice). I don't believe Cathe has designed an all weight circuit video that allows for this. Maybe her new Supersets DVD will be chaptered to allow for this.

I've been doing this routine on my own or using Weights III by Francesca Gern. Gern's tape is the only one I know of that resembles the format recommended by MFH.

RE: What Cathe Workouts are considered "Circuit Trainin...

Hello Tpridgen,
I found a thread at www.videofitness.com. It is a modifed version of the MFH 8 week body blast. I just started this rotation today, although I will tweak it some. I feel on some weeks there is a little too much cardio and not enough weight work such as week 4. Anyway for some ideas on how to use videos in this workout go to www.videofitness.com. Click on Reader Forum. Click on Video Fitness Reader Forum. Click on General Discussion. Click on thread entitled Favorite Rotation (page 2 right now). Hope this give you some ideas.

That's the rotation I put up. :) Absolutely modify it. Doing weight training 1-2 times per week is plenty for me. However, it may not be other others. Let us know how it turns out!

Crystal...great rotation

Crystal,
I think your rotation looks awesome! I am very excited and hope to stick with this rotation. It offers a lot of variety so hopefully I won't get sidetracked with another rotation. Thanks for taking the time to post this rotation. Have a good one!

RE: Crystal...great rotation

Thanks ladies for your replies.

I especially want to thank Crystal for that rotation. I did pull your rotation from videofitness and started this week. In fact I am doing the Cathe/LB rotation. I started this past Monday and I am sooo sore. This is the first time I have used Lotte consistently and I am thoroughly impressed. I truly feel that I am going to love this rotation.

It should be posted everywhere b/c it will definitely give you a different workout. I have been working out consistently over the past year and half, 6x a week. I didn't think it could get any better:)

Thanks everyone. I'll let you know my progress!
