1. paper plates on carpet, or if working on wood or tile floor, tie cloth dusters around ankles, or cloth tea towels fro the kitchen, or just place feet on small towels
2. if you have a band, you can tie a knot with the two loose ends and fit this around either lower leg or around thighs above knee to make your own firewalker loop (in early uses of the firewalkers move, this is what Cathe and crew did)
3. in place of tubing, I usually modify the move to use a dumbbell anyway, or use your band again.
