What are your Holiday plans this Weekend?

Mine is The Highland Games in Alma MI for some Irn Bru and Fish n chips plus to see guys with great physiques throw heavy objects while wearing tartan plaid skirts. My exercise willl be walking from the car and to find the car later.

Fish and chips sound good! My plans are pretty unstructured, I think a movie Saturday afternoon, that's a big deal for me, the last movie I saw in a theater was Ocean's 13, maybe some shopping and dinner, but I want something good and different. On Sunday I'll hit one of the PA casinos. Workouts this week have been pretty weak, so I want to get in at least a couple good ones over the 3 day holiday.

I'm jealous! I'd love to idle an afternoon away oggling virile guys with great physiques tossing the caber from behind my dark glasses!

I will be cheering my daughter on at a soccer tournament this weekend in Canton, MI. Two years ago, her team won their age group. This year? Who knows?!??!!

We have had monsoon rain here all week, great sheets of it, so I am hoping for a dry weekend, pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease! M daughter's soccer jersey is white............shiiiiiiiiiit.

We will pretty much be laying low this weekend since hubby is recovering from eye surgery. Other than that I'll be getting in a couple workouts, taking my kids to swim team time trials Saturday morning, a little yardwork, grocery shopping, cooking, teaching the preschoolers at church Sunday morning, laundry, cleaning out the kid's closets...at least this is what's on my to do list. ;)

Have a great weekend everyone :D

We are doing our annual 'ski your brains out weekend'. It's usually the first weekend that we have water-skiied enough to be able to ski every day without getting too sore. This year we are trying to work in a night at the beach while still skiing Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. We've got a big thunderstorn going on right now though, so that may put a little kink in our plans!! :confused: Keeping our fingers crossed that we can get in our Friday night ski!

Saturday;; workout--of course!!:eek: Nephew's grad party out of town
Sunday church;;;

Monday: finally off recovery week and back to STS on Meso 2

Tonite: 2 movies: The Next Three Days and Wild Target with my DH

Gonna be a great weekend!

Doing a 5k on Monday (and hoping to have some walkable weather before that so I can get in a few miles, and heat adapt...it's supposed to be in the 90's, and the last few days have been rainy and in the 50s/60s!)

I went to the casinos for the weekend with my DH, my mom and her SO. In addition, my uncle from Florida flew up just to spend the weekend with us AND my best friend and her fiancee were also at there but staying at another hotel. It was a great long weekend spending fun times with family and friends. Headed down at lunch time on friday and were back home by lunchtime today. I didn't work out while I was gone (sat/sun) which was wierd for me but I launched myself back into reality with Imax Extreme this afternoon!;)

We did a hike up Mt. Herman today! Had our "family" (good friends) over last night and stayed out on the front porch talking and enjoying some wine after a yummy and secretly health bbq meal.

This eve I'm going to make an Asian chicken salad.

I hope you enjoyed your Memorial Day as well.

I know I'm late to reply here...we went down to visit our son who moved down to Nashville a whole year ago. It was the first time we were able to go down to visit plus our very first time to Nashville. We had such a fun time visiting, eating out and visiting several honky tonk bars. He drove us around and we also walked all around downtown Nashville and he showed us some key spots such as The "old" Grand Ole Opry, recording studios, Vanderbilt University, a beautiful park (forget the name ) and just lots of walking. Got to meet all his new friends which was fun too! We took lots of pix which I'll try to post soon on my FB page...getting caught up on lots of laundry, emails and phone calls today! Fun reading about all your fun times!
