What are your best fitness purchases of 2008?

My Questions:

Wendy is Eoin Finn's YFHappiness good for a beginner? Looking to get into yoga again and have heard great things about his magically hips section.

I happen to love Eoin PY4H Vol.1's magically hip premix. If you know the names of the moves, he has free downloads on his website. The Tragically Hips download is a good one too.

Great thread Laura.

Dvds: Amy Bento's ASC3 and Rumble. I love all my Bento's she has rocking music. STS. Can't wait. I'm hoping it kicks my butt into loving weight training.
Tracey Staheles latest workouts. Hope the step and med ball workout show this week.

Kathryn, just curious (& not sure I actually want to know), there's a WORSE DVD in existence?
Yes!
(Though it was back in video days, and may have never made it to DVD, so worse workout).
Years ago, I got a boxing workout by some Thibaudault? guy, a pro boxer.
From the dull presentation, to the constantly going up and down (from jumprope to ab work!), to the lack of instruction and counting (after a brief intro teaching the moves, when he did the actual class, he didn't say more than 6 words during the entire workout) to the participants wearing sloppy clothes (sweats with panty lines showing).

If you ever see this workout, run as fast as you can in the opposite direction.

Some others that are just as bad : a series of workouts by some chick who filmed them in her backyard. The concepts all SOUNDED good, but her form was horrible, and she had 1/2 of an idea of what she was doing.(These were on DVD, so they may count as 'worse DVDs ever').
