What are you hoping for under the tree?

OK - I already got my Christmas present from my husband. It was my tattoo...it was expensive, so I told him to not buy me anything for Christmas. But, I'm hoping that my father gets me those new Bose in-ear headphones for my iPod, and that someone else gets me a Best Buy gift certificate so I can buy a new game for my Wii.

Am I a total dork???

The only things I told DH that I wanted were a Cathe calendar and the "My So-Called-Life" DVD set. Anything more than that is just gravy.

I bought myself a Cathe calender from my DH, but I hope he wraps it. I also asked for a Cathe giftcard. And a Dick's gift card. I hope there is NO SUGAR LADEN FOOD!

I only want one thing - an 80gb iPod Classic. Not sure if I'll get it. I'm so excited about the gifts that I'm giving that I'm not really worried at all about what I'm getting!

I am with Shelley...I am too excited to give this year and don't really care about what I get! :)

This is the first year that DH and I have concentrated on a small Christmas, just us, since 1994. It was a joy to spoil him rotten! Er, I mean, for SANTA to spoil him rotten! :)

I asked for the Cathe calendar, which I know that I got since Dh had it delivered here and some Nike Shox. I am just really glad that this year we will be in our own home on Xmas morning instead of visiting relatives.

We don't exchange presents with family anymore but I had fun playing Santa with our "adopted" family. Tomorrow we're having a Xmas lunch at work and I know we're getting a $200 gift card. The only other gift I want to FOOD!! I've been a good little girl ;) eating my veggies and fruit all year long so Christmas is when I get to eat all the GOOD stuff!!

I'm really excited to see my 3 Girls get their present as I was able to fulfill most of their lists. An i-Pod for Faith, digital cam for Elizabeth and a deluxe down duvet for Marley as well as assorted shiney, girly bits for all. I am beyond curious to open what they got for me. Marley claims her idea was 'a stroke of genius, it will change my life and I don't even know they exist'. It's driving me crazy, they've told lots of my friends who all shake their heads and say, 'wow, it's awesome, I can't believe your kids thought of this'.....any guesses??:+

Take Care
Laurie:)

Wow, Laurie! No guesses, but you HAVE to let us know what it is, because, damn it, I think I want one!!!x( }(

First things first...

after all the CRAP BF has put me through this year, i had a pretty big list (that has had him shopping for days):

25 and 30 lb. weights
new flat iron
gator #15/tim tebow jersey
massage
gator mailbox cover
a new wallet
a new king comforter
gator football tickets (just one game)
dvd player
fix up workout room
bosu ball
money for new roof

the dogs also asked for:
treats
balls
toys
bones

I got the face of Durga, who is a Hindu goddess, on my lower back. I asked my friend from Mumbai if there was a Hindu symbol for mother and he sent me a wonderful design of Durga. The more I read about her, the more I became attracted to what she represents. Strength, protection, love. It seems weird, but I feel a bit more empowered since she became part of me.

There is a photo of her on my MySpace page. My profile name there is Just Donna! I'd send a link, but I'm banned from MySpace at work. My profile is also set to private, but I'd be happy to have any of you as my friend, so send me a request if you want.

Well, my gift won't fit under the tree but it is my brother, who got home from Iraq in September and just signed out of the army this past Friday. He will be here to celebrate Christmas with the whole family and we are all thrilled to know he doesn't have to go back.

Okay, I haven't asked for it but I am hoping that my daughter's Wii that she's getting from her grandparents comes with a boxing game. She asked for a Nintendo DS but little does she know she's getting a Wii instead!

I myself love shopping for others and watching them open up their gifts, especially my girls. I really don’t get much and that is okay with me. My husband does not believe in buying people gifts during this time of year. He thinks we should give other times. He truly does surprise me – a few months ago I was talking about “wanting a treadmill”. One weekend, he came home with a very beautiful one.

Hope you all have a very happy holiday, enjoy your family and friends and take a little time for yourself and relax!!!

Debbie

Hoping for Gym Styles since I got the Pyramids for my b-day last week. I'll be a happy camper for New Year's if I get those. :p

The boxing game comes as part of the Wii Sports game included in the package. You want to get her a fun game? Get her Zelda: Twilight Princess. I'm hooked, and my daughter is too.
