I ended up getting Freddy shoes for high impact aerobics. I was getting burning at the balls of my feet & I knew something was wrong. I bought the Freddy trainers & no problem since. They felt weird at first but never uncomfortable.

Marla,

Which Freddies did you purchase? Would they be suitable for wide feet, you think?

Thanks,

Susan L.G.

IF you don't want to purchase sneakers I noticed that Dr. Scholls makes inserts that are specifically for hi-impact aerobics. They're not too expensive, I think under $10, so you might want to try them first before buying new sneakers. I found them at Walmart.

My chiropractor recommended Superfeet inserts to me...they have made a world of difference to me. My knees were taking a beating, and now with the proper support in my shoes, my knees feel much better.

I think the website is superfeet.com

I got one that said for high impact aerobics & cardio. They will tell you in the description. Yes, my feet are very wide & these were roomy in the forefoot.

Superfeet inserts have made a world of difference in my ability to run longer than 30 minutes. No matter what shoes I used, or how well I was fitted, right about minute 26 my feet would be killing me. (I run for time, not distance). Now I swear by my superfeet inserts and new balance 833s.
Valerie :)

I got some of the Dr. Scholes' (sp) at Walgreens yesterday, so i am going to try them as soon as my knee stops hurting! x( thanks for the input!
