Hi Wendy,
I looked at your pic trail p90x pics. You really leaned out at the end of the rotation. Do you attribute that to diet changes or just the work outs? You look great. I am sure you have discussed this already, so tia for answering again.
:)

Jody,

I checked out your picture trail and you look fantastic. If you don't mind me asking, did you follow a particular plan?

Hi Shirl,
Thanks :)
I always aspire to eat low fat whole food plant based diet ala Joel Furhman (sp?) or McDougall or whomever. That and getting addicted to working out brought about the biggest changes. Losing my last 15 or so I attribute to 1. Adding sprints to running or doing workouts w/ blasts and/or circuits as opposed to steady state cardio. 2. making sure I have protein on board before or after wt training and 3. Dating for the first time in 17 years (mating behavior, lol)

I generally do each body part once a week and get in 3 to 5 cardios.

Thanks for asking

Hi Jody.

Thanks.:) I looked at your pics a few days ago and thought you looked fantastic as well!

I did not change my diet during the X. I had been eating a moderately clean/healthy diet so I didn't change it. All I did was eat more when my body told me I needed it. The X work outs required an enormous amount of energy to keep doing them for 90 days. Eating enough was soooo important! I also took naps almost daily!;)

Anywho, I attribute my success STRICTLY to the program. Know, however, that I DID modify it some what to suit me a bit better. I added a cardio and a leg day for one thing and rarely did either kenpo or plyo but I stuck with the weight work pretty much verbatim.

HTH!:)

Jody,
Thanks for responding. I'll have to check out the low fat whole food plant based diet. Your third reason gave me a good laugh - it definitley helps to have those endorphins flowing.

Thanks for the feedback, Wendy. I just ordered some new Cathe (CTX and S+H) but p90X is on my list now for sure.

Shirl, I realized later how my mating behavior statement might be construed. I meant it in the attracting a mate type of mating behavior, not the actual mating, though the endorphin release is nice.}(

Runnergirl, no one ever told me that before, thank you very much! I think she's very pretty.

Jody,

Oh, I didn't mean the actual mating either! It made me laugh because I remember those days of dating; the initial attraction, excitement, wanting to look my best, watching my diet, etc. Now, my DH is lucky if I get excited about anything! lol
