The Texas Girls' Night out was a huge success and a devine time was had by all! We all had our cameras and took lots of pics, but it will take me a little bit to get them on a pic trail. i just arrived home from the airport and am exhausted! We stayed up till 5am!!! I'm tired! Dinner was awesome! Pinky met us there and we were all so thirilled you could make it Pinky! It was so great to meet you! Then we went dancing and worked off the dinner! Then we proceeded to go back to the hotel and have a huge gab fest about fitness and life in general. Lots of laughs! Great company! I am so blessed to have made some great friends on this forum and it was so much fun to kick up my heels with all of you!!!! Thanks for participating!

And for those of you who didn't make it this time, there will many more get togethers in the future!

It was WONDERFUL to meet you, too, Jes. And Marla. And Nadine. And Laura. And Shonie. You have no idea how blessed and priviledged I felt in your company.:) I'm glad I decided to not listen to the "mom instinct" and just go. Actually, I give a lot of credit to my husband who told me to not even think about it, that I just go and have fun.

Well, that one picture the waiter took was blurryx( so I'll just wait for the photos from your cameras to come up online. If there is a next time, I'd like to make it to that one as well, and this time, stay up 'til the wee hours, too.:)

Guy's it was so fun, if you only knew!!!! I'm glad I met ALL of you. I mean we all talked until FIVE AM!!!! All it was just cool women, getting together & sharing. It was pretty darn fun!!!

My pics will be up soon, the only thing I realized is that they are not many pics because we were too busy having fun.

I'll fess up! I got sloshed! Luckily, I didn't do anything crazy or get arrested! }( I had so much fun! Everyone was fun and really cool! I can't wait to do it again!

I didn't take a whole lot of pictures either. I need to hurry and finish my roll today since I'm still living in the 90s - I have to get my film developed.

I was so exhausted last night having had only about 4 hours of sleep Saturday night or rather Sunday morning. It was so worth losing sleep over though. I can't wait till the next trip!

BTW - I'll never forget the "bathroom incident" at the restaurant. Nadine and I were cracking up about that on the drive home.:7
 
I had a pretty healthy buzz Janice! THe bathroom incident was quite hysterial and i'll bet we laugh about that for a long time. i slept and now i'm ready for a workout! i am gonna try to get the pics up today.

ok, you asked for it! the bathroom story is actually two parts. First, Shonnie and i went to the ladie's room. She went into the stall and i stayed by the sink and waited for her and made conversation with a young girl in her prom dress. There were very interesting noises comming from one of the stalls and Shonnie quickly came out and said, "that wasn't me!" we left and giggled. then Laura and Nadine had to go later on and when they came back, apparently that same woman was in there and was sick. one of her friend's had joined her to be of assistance and i'm not sure of the details, b/c nadine or laura will have to help me out with that. they came back to the table hysterical and told us about it. they had to leave the restroom really quickly so the poor woman wouldn't hear them crack up! we all had a HUGE laugh over it and had tears streaming down our faces. Marla remarked that even though she is a nurse, she wasn't doing that for any of us, so don't ask! we all kept asking each other the question for the rest of the evening. maybe you had to be there, but it was a riot!

Ok, you have to keep in mind that we were in a VERY fancy restaurant (there were $50 steaks on the menu!)

The lady with the "problem" was in one stall and someone uninvolved was in the other with the friend standing outside of the stalls. Laura and I were waiting to use the 2nd stall. The friend sticks her head into the open door of the "sick" stall and says:

"Do you want me to wipe your a$$?"

Laura and I stare at each other with HUGE eyes, and Laura mouths to me "did she ACTUALLY say....." and when I shook my head yes, we promptly lost all control! I didn't know a person could laugh SO hard without making any noise! The worse part was we REALLY had to pee! So not having an "accident" ourselves was NOT easy!!

What made it so incredably shocking/hilarious was the setting. If we were in a truck stop we wouldn't have thought twice about it, but we were in a swanky place!!

I DID try to redeem my black soul by asking the "friend" (once I could do so with a straight face) if she wanted us to go get someone from her party. But she declined.

I think I'm still going to hell.

Ladies, I truly, truly had a WONDERFUL time!

I looked it up on caloriesperhour.com and for the 2 hours we spent dancing, we burned around 500 calories! (I think that was probably only HALF of that yummy Creme Brulee that I devoured!)

Some of us (who shall remain nameless Jes) probably burned more from fending off all of her interested "suitors"! ;) :*
