Weights & plates on a bosu?

An upside down bosu that is, or a balance board--I'm thinking about giving this a shot w/the plank work just to increase the intensity a bit. Any thoughts?
 
I love my Bosu and use it a lot with clients for plank work. I also use it a lot with 1 leg squats/lunges. I gets "in there" like nothing else. Sometimes I'll just jump on it (like this morning) for cardio. It's awesome!

laura- I love my bosu. You can use it for so many things- balance, strength, and cardio.


I noticed that the 1 star bandit seems to target you?!?! Is that right? I just realized this. I am a little slow (I am almost 40, ya know)

Thanks! I didn't even notice! Did you mean me or LauraMax? Regardless, it just means that s/he has "issues" and has nothing better to do with her/his time! :p

Yes, the Bosu is great for ab work. I haven't used mine in a while but I'm going to get mine out today. Thanks LauraMax!

Thanks for reminding me about the Bosu. I used it today with LowMax and for abdominal work. I had a great workout!! I've been getting bored with my cardio and this was a nice way to change things up a bit.

Oh, I think that's a great idea! I think I'll give that a try next time I do that workout!

Oh goody, thanks Laura & everyone! Yep, I've used the bosu for planks & such, but I'm a little nervous about using it for mountain climbers & pikes. :eek:

Alrighty then, I'll give it a shot this Sat.
