Today I will do Gym Style Chest and Triceps plus the Treadclimber, maybe abs!! Today is my DH b-day!

I am hoping to be back later and catch up with everyone!

Today I am planning on running outside. We had a little snow last night but nothing I can't run on. Im hoping its not to cold for DS though.
We are also having friends over for supper tonight so I need to do some housework and start preparing things. I gonna make things that I can just poke in the oven 30 mins or so before we eat.

today workout is a forty minute PW with ankle weights and then upper body on pH!The thanksgiving thing is today...I REALLY need to be careful with my eating,I had some pizza and some icecream for dinner last night:-(but it was good,but dang do I feel bad today about it:-(

Stacey-hugs to you...strep throat???..UUGGGHHH! Its going around at my DD's school so its just a matter of time,sigh! I hope your family gets to feeling better!

Ok, I am scared to check into this forum today. I don't want to catch strep, or a head cold or whatever is going around this WW check in. Yuck! Just kidding to those of you who are sick, it's no fun. Take that Vitamin C, echinachea, drink a crapload of water, and then feel better. Wish it was so easy...

Yesterdays w/o was a 3 mile run and then X stretch. Today is Chest Back and abripper. Should be fun--oh, lot's o' pushups are in my future.

Lori--excellent run on the 'dreadmill'. I am impressed. I hate running on that thing, but WTG. If if keeps your running on track, I say go for it. Running outside is the best. Did you get new jeans?

Amelia--have a great power walk with weights. Ugh, thanksgiving with the inlaws already? At least you get it over with. I dread it too, and I actually LIKE my inlaws. It's just draining. Be on your best eating behavior (no pumpkin pie):)

Belinda--thanks for the personal info, I didn't mean to pry. I just like to ask alot of questions. That is really cool that your DH is military. I am sure you have moved alot, and seen alot of interesting places. I bet you are glad to be 'home' though.

Lainie-thanks for all the info on your new workouts. What do you think of the STS that Cathe is coming out with? Hope you have fun at Bed,Bath,and frickin' Beyond. ( that is a quote from Sex and the City/Anthony)

Back to report my workout:) I did a 7.5 mile run with hopes of doing B&G after but that doesn't look like it will be happening. As soon as I got off of the TM DH was stadning there with a little boy who needed to be fed:) So now I am standing here in sweaty clothes, eating and watching DS feed himself in a very timely manner!

Amelia** I understand what you are saying about the eating. One day of bad eating wont be the end of all your hard work but if it turns into a longer duration, then you may have a problem. Also sometimes its not what you eat, but how much you eat of it. If you eat things in moderation today, then I think you will be o.k. Enjoy your workout!

Carrie** Im not a huge fan of the TM either but I make the best of it.I play my handheld tetris game while I run, plus listen to music. In the past it also helped to watch scary movies that I wouldn't normally watch. I was so caught up in the movie that I didn't pay attention to my running. How people read on the TM? I have no clue! I would have such a headache! I did get 2 new pairs of jeans last night. One for $25 and the other for $19, then weren't to long in the legs either which was nice. I don't know why everything as a 34" inseam these days!

Hi ladies. We just got back from a nice drive around the area to look at the beautiful colors on the trees. We've been meaning to do that for a while and finally the weather and everything cooperated.

Only problem is now I have a killer headache. Not a migraine at least. Pretty soon I have to get up and feed the kids some lunch.

Belinda, great job on your workout and happy birthday to your DH!

Lori, I think if I had a treadmill I might listen to audiobooks. I often listen to audiobooks when I'm cleaning house or doing other things. I check them out at the library, load the CDs on my laptop, and then put them on my iPod. Oh, and I have that same problem with lots of pants being long. I do have some high heeled boots I wear with long jeans, but I don't want to wear those heels constantly.

Amelia, good luck with the Thanksgiving thing today; I'm sure you'll be fine.

Carrie, I'm excited to hear about the STS thing. I have trouble sticking to long rotations but maybe I could do it if it was a special system like that, and especially if it's made by Cathe. I can almost guarantee I'll preorder it. I still haven't decided if I'm going to sell some of the workouts I'm not using. I definitely won't sell any that I haven't even tried yet. I always at least try a workout before I decide to sell it.

Stacey, sorry to hear about the strep throat! I've had that few times myself, and it was part of the reason I took Ewan to the doctor when we were both sick, but she said it wasn't strep. At least you are on the antibiotics now. Just be sure to eat lots of yogurt to replenish your "good" bacteria.

Hey girls,Im done with working out and Iam GLAD its over! Its hard for me to workout on the weekends!

Lori-Great job on your run! I agree,If I do eat something that I KNOW isn't good for me then I keep it at a serving! Like last night I had two slices(i think thats a serving) of pizza and a salad then had a half a cup of my favorite icecream,moose tracks!

Hi, everyone! Yesterday was a rest day (early business meetings) and today was a nice 75 min run with the local running club. Just right!

Belinda, happy b-day to DH! And nice workout, girl!

Amelia, good luck with that Thanksgiving feast tonight. Ooh! Your game plan sounds like a good one. Let us know.

I just got back from an hour-long run. Or I should probably call it a jog, since I would run a bit, then walk a bit, then run a bit, etc. I can't run full out the whole time. I was supposed to do weights today but I just got this urge to run (a Lori kind of urge). It was the perfect day to run on the trail above the Hudson River. Cool and crisp and leaves littering the trail, enough leaves down to glimpse more of the river through the trees than you can see in spring and summer. My ankle felt fine except for one scary moment when I hit something on the path and it twisted in pain just briefly. I walked gingerly a bit but it seemed o.k. so I kept going. Great workout!
