Morning ladies! Just a quick one before getting DH off for the day then I'll be back with personals.
Today is Yoga - I'll do Alan Fingers Yoga Zone Beginners for 60 min. Glad its Yoga day as my body is fried this week.
BBL!

Morning,

Tracie: Yoga, your liking that huh? Good for you :) I don't do Yoga, but it’s a great workout and really lean/tone your body, nice work:)

Last night, I RESTED aw......and it felted so good. I only wish I could’ve stay home but we had bible study and I didn’t get home, I believe it was after 9:30.

This morning, I did Cardio Fusion, I truly forgot drills 1-6 was tacked on the end, duh, and I thought I was done after circuit 4 }( Confession, I did not have time to complete the last 2 drills, started my workout late.

Tonight, MAYBE PUB & abs, Ladies, I'm thinking about running out to JC Penny to get a few sweaters, I’ll see. Back to work…….

Ok- Things are settled down at house finally! One of those DH running late, pouring rain, dogs hungry & frisky cuz of cold, trash day that I forgot.... LOL.... My dinner out with the girls last night just threw the entire rhythm of the house off! AMAZING how we are such the stabilizing force isnt it?

Anyway.... I was so totally proud of one of my friends I met up w/ last night. She celebrated her 50th last November and told me she qualified for the Boston Marathon after running Chicago a bit back. I am soooooo proud of her and MOTIVATED! She is just the most wonderful person in the world. I only get to see her a few times a year in person although we live in the same city just because of schedules but we talk faithfully on email. We decided last night that friends are one of Gods gifts not to be squandered so we are doing a monthly girls night now.

Made healthy choices last nite.... Sashimi instead of Sushi, a seaweed salad & edamame. Did have 2 glasses of merlot but still a better choice than Sake.
Other than soy sauce bloat I feel great today. Proud of staying away from white rice which would have had me in a white carb craving frenzy this morning.... not to mention the bloodsugar spike at 9pm!

:7 Lori:
happy WI day! fingers & toes crossed! Hope you are still feeling better today after last nights show.

:7 Teddygirl:
GREAT way to get it done this morning! I have ALOT of those days when my brain says w/o is over only to find I "forgot" a few segments! lol ..............Quite the little shopper this week eh? GOOD FOR YOU! Shopping is a GOOD thing. ...... I dont know if you ever shared about your medical stuff and I missed it but just know that I am thinking of you and praying that all works out. Medical things are very scary regardless of what they are and if you ever want to chat you know you can PM me. {{{{{{{TG}}}}}}}}

:7 CHERYL:
Great that you identified that protein issue! You'll be buffing up as you lean down even further! Also glad Amy was able to help w/ tracking yesterday... shes the guru for that site for sure. I'm not overly keen on fitness tracking on the site either but I keep 2 calendars + index cards + log sheets + excel spreadsheets of dailys so I guess I dont NEED it to be! ha

:7 AMY:
Are you happy dancin' in the streets today????? ROFL on the "I'm whipped" YA THINK?????? Boot Camp- Elliptical building & test drive.... holy cow woman. Your movie sounds good! Tonight is date night & we are watching Mad Dog & Glory. A De Niro / Bill Murray / Uma Thurman movie. Best thing I ever did was sign up for Net Flix! We hadnt seen movies in 2 years!!!

Back after yoga gang!

Hi, ladies!!

Traci, sounds like you had a great night last night!!! No weigh in for you today - when I have Chinese of any kind, the next day on the scale is a SHOCK, and it's just the sodium... so no need to scare yourself. Sounds like you made good choices. As to logging - girl, sounds like you're logging a lot!!! Yes, it's extreme, but it works for us!

Teddygirl, glad you rested - and wow, you are turning into a shopping machine! Hope you find some good sweaters, if you go. Will help complete a couple of those new outfits. A pencil skirt? yes, that takes body confidence, and so glad that you've got it!

This morning I did GS Back, Shoulders and Biceps and am finishing up with 45 min. TM. Just right.

Will check back in later!!
Cheryl

Amy: Boot camp, nice work :) tho I haven’t done BC in a longggggg time, its a good workout. The Illusionist, I seen it, and man oh man, the end took me for a loop, I was like huh, just wait :D

Tracie: You made some prety good food choices, you're just so dog gone disciple :D x( :p Oh, I meant too tell you, we have the exact same Door Gym, forgot where I got mines, but, got it after P90X came out and its still going strong, nice choice, great minds think alike.

Cheryl: See…… I knew it! I knew that you have done L&G before, I can’t wait to get the dvd version. Aw.....its getting close to me breakfast time

Good Morning Gang!

I was sleeping so good!!! Then the phone rang......WRONG NUMBER!! Apparantly we have the same phone number as AmEx except for the area code. Surprisingly, we haven't gotten all that many wrong number calls, though.

I bit chilly around the edges this morning. Coming out from under the covers was a shock! Anyway, coffee is done.....Seattle's Best Cinnabon coffee (since DH is gone, I get to have flavored!). YUM!

Traci- Great job on the food choices. I can't ever seem to stay away from the sushi....especially the rolls!! OMG they are so good!!! YUM on the Merlot as well!!!;-) Congratulations to your friend for qualifiying for the Boston! That's awesome! Have fun with the yoga, I will have to get tips on it from you as I can't seem to still get into it!

TG- You go, you shopping machine! I hope that you find some cute sweaters to go with your new skirts! They sound super cute! I haven't finished watching the Illusionist, yet. It just got too late and I wasn't able to pay attention after a while. I kept rewinding because I was zoning out. I stopped right around where Eisenhiem is starting his new show.

Cheryl- Have you eating your protein yet???;-) I found a pretty tasty hot cereal from Hodgson Mills that's Bulgar Wheat with soy protein added...10g per serving and it's only 115 cal per serving! I cook up a couple of batches (I tend to eat 2 servings at a time and for 230 cal/20g protein/0 fat, it's quite tasty!) and refrigerate the leftovers for later. I do that for oatmeal on the weekends, too.
I hope your client from he!! has settled down, now that the "big announcement" is released! I think that's super cool that you own your own PR firm! Stuff like that, I could do as long as I have a partner that was a business-head...I totally am NOT!!!

Lori- I hope that you are feeling better and getting stronger every day. I know that it took me over a week to get better when I had the flu last November. I was pushing myself, thinking it was just a cold, but looking back, it was the flu. Had I known that at the time, I wouldn't have pushed myself to workout as hard! Good Luck on your WI!

Nothing interesting on the books or agenda today. Of course, working "the Monster" }( . My hammies are tight this morning, but then again, they were a tad dom-mie last night still from PLB on Sunday! Not bad, though, but they take a bit of time to work out the kinks, especially in the morning.

I hope you all have a great day and I will see you all later!

Hi again, everyone!

Actually, Amy, our client loves us again. Now I can tell you what it is - our client ContentWatch, who is a technology leader in internet filtering/parental control software, just acquired NetNanny, who's the best known brand for that kind of thing in the consumer arena.

Because NetNanny was owned by a public company prior to the acquisition they were being absolute SQUIRRELLS about putting their final legal approval on the press release so we could post it and said their SEC requirement is that the release could only go up while the market was CLOSED. (Goes contrary to every bit of council we've heard or given our public company clients, but whatever.) So we were finally able to get the news out at market close yesterday afternoon and there's been such a flurry of positive response our client is in heaven. 80 pickups. USA Today, NY Times, Forbes - all the first write ups on it have been big thumbs up. Also, the account lead in the agency partnered with me stayed up all night Monday night trying to push the NetNanny legal folks, so in the end, we earned big extra brownie points for the above and beyond effort to push it through. So all is well again - and all in a day's work for PR :) :)

Amy, I ate 2 Omega 3 eggs last night and a Wendy's Turkey/swiss sandwich for dinner. That turned the trick. Didn't have time for any this morning, though - uugh! Will make it up later in the day. Can't wait until those egg whites get here. I just hate paying the extra for Omega 3 eggs and then throw all the yokes down the drain... feels so wasteful!!!

Glad you got a good sleep-in.

Traci, hope your workout went well!

Mine ended up nicely. I'm feeling really strong right now. Weight the same as yesterday; no surprises.

Have a great morning, everyone! It's Hump Day already!!!! :) :) :)

Cheryl

Cheryl- I am glad that you got extra brownie points for the hard work and that your cliet loves you now. I totally know what you mean about tossing the yolks! Just for that I wish I had a dog to give them to! I found pint cartons of egg whites in the refrigerated section of the grocery store that I used until I got my shipment. It was about $2 and some change per carton, but it's easier than tossing the yolks!

The only problem with Hump Day is that it means I have to go back to work soon! Good thing, though, I know that I will be working in the ICU this weekend, because we rotate through the floating to other floors and I have my turn done for a while. I also keep track of who floated in front on me so that when they float, I know that my draft number will be up next!
