Hi again, everyone!
Actually, Amy, our client loves us again. Now I can tell you what it is - our client ContentWatch, who is a technology leader in internet filtering/parental control software, just acquired NetNanny, who's the best known brand for that kind of thing in the consumer arena.
Because NetNanny was owned by a public company prior to the acquisition they were being absolute SQUIRRELLS about putting their final legal approval on the press release so we could post it and said their SEC requirement is that the release could only go up while the market was CLOSED. (Goes contrary to every bit of council we've heard or given our public company clients, but whatever.) So we were finally able to get the news out at market close yesterday afternoon and there's been such a flurry of positive response our client is in heaven. 80 pickups. USA Today, NY Times, Forbes - all the first write ups on it have been big thumbs up. Also, the account lead in the agency partnered with me stayed up all night Monday night trying to push the NetNanny legal folks, so in the end, we earned big extra brownie points for the above and beyond effort to push it through. So all is well again - and all in a day's work for PR
Amy, I ate 2 Omega 3 eggs last night and a Wendy's Turkey/swiss sandwich for dinner. That turned the trick. Didn't have time for any this morning, though - uugh! Will make it up later in the day. Can't wait until those egg whites get here. I just hate paying the extra for Omega 3 eggs and then throw all the yokes down the drain... feels so wasteful!!!
Glad you got a good sleep-in.
Traci, hope your workout went well!
Mine ended up nicely. I'm feeling really strong right now. Weight the same as yesterday; no surprises.
Have a great morning, everyone! It's Hump Day already!!!!
