Happy Sunday Gang

Hope this morning finds Amys DH & Janes daddy doing better.;( I also hope that these 2 ladies are taking good care of themselves in the process of caretaking loved ones.

Good run last night Amy! YES 50 is a bit cold for the shorts... its that time of year where our climates are too cold for shorts & too warm for long pants... one I start moving I get hot quickly but the cold makes it an ICY-HOT. ***dont ya just see Cheryl snickering at us!***

Today is Chest Shoulders Triceps. Only 6 workouts to go to complete the P90X Challenge! Can you believe its been almost 3.5 MONTHS that I stuck with it? After this week is 1 final recovery week where all the workouts are abdomlinal & cardio based. Its actually quite challenging so its sure aint a REST week! After recovery is measurements.... Since my ttom will be due in bewtwwen those weeks I am planning on doing full stats 2x and see which is closer to real deal. I'll do them after this week and after recovery week.

Gooood Moooorning! Traci, yes, I read your late night post last night and I loved it! I was just too much of a sleepy slug to answer - heh, heh!

I'm not snickering at all. It SNOWED again in Utah last night, and outside my window it's looking like Christmas. I'll definitely be working out inside.

Amy, how's DH doing this morning? Were you able to avoid the ER?

Wow, Traci, on Chest, Shoulders and Tri's - a challenge indeed. You've been doing so well on this program. The results speak for themselves.

This morning was supposed to be MIC on Cathe's rotation, but I think I'll sub in tomorrow's Boot Camp, because the YaYa's are planning a cardio party with Step Blast. I just can't miss my beloved Boot Camp. Sleeping in a bit here for Sunday.

Hurray for Boot Camp!

It picked up my spirits as it always does, and I am now sitting here dripping in sweat (good thing we have leather desk chairs - hah, hah!) Don't know whether I'll weigh in today or not. As much water as I guzzled during the workout, the weight on the scale may be something I don't want to know :7

I sure hope everyone's doing okay - I'll be checking in a little bit later.

Okay, weighed in.... 128.2. Aaagh!!! But bf% dipped to a new low of 19.8%. I actually think the 127.4 in mid week was an anomaly - I wasn't quite really there yet - and with the bf coming down steadily I feel like I'm doing what I need to do. I'm happy.

But no room here to mess around :) :)

Amy, Jane, Claude, Teddygirl, Gayle - I hope you're all having a wonderful day!

Cheryl- ^5 on BF!!! my weight again down this am.... Is it REALLY the 100% clean eating or a fluke in nature??? My BF still isnt budging tho so I absolutely think you are right that sometimes our bodies just arent suppose to be this low just yet... This week I feel like tortoise & hare with wt/Bf!
happy you have winter wonderland to look at but BC to stay inside! A perfect day! Enjoy your sunday... My Bears are getting ready to start I think so off to living room to cheer them on.

hello everybody...

Amy - how is DH? I hope he is better.

Traci/Amy - daddy is still in a lot of pain from that balloon device. My stepmother actually stuck a needle in the "valve thingy" (so technical aren't I;) ?) and relieved a little of the pressure yesterday. Daddy's eye was hurting and watering so bad from the pressure of that thing! He felt a little relief after she did that but it still is not comfortable. He is going to be at his dr's office in the morning when they open, he isn't waiting to call!

Traci... they just hired somebody who started on Jan 8th but she took the person's place who left in Nov. They still haven't hired anyone to take the one that had to leave in December (she had to quit work for medical reasons and the one who left in Nov moved to Arizona). We have to cover one weekend a month and this was my weekend for this month... it wasn't too bad, got off in 8 hours both days.

I have ate enough in two days to feed a small country!

I need to get my butt in gear and get on my rotation. Hopefully I'll report back to you in a few hours that I did PLB/PUB bonus combo and a CC run..... or maybe I'll just tell you I finished the bag of Tostitos! HELP!!!
 
Well I did the PLB/PUB bonus combo and threw in the PLB floor work. I need to do the PUB abs and a 20 minute run but that is for another day. I feel a little better now. Off to get a salad (something green for a change!)
 
Hi Jane - Thanks so much for update on daddy..... I bet this will be the longest weekend in history for him and all the family. Hope the DR is able to help make him more comfortable in the morning.

LOL on the eating.... sometimes its just the best course of action! Give yourself a break and do what you need to for comfort.

^^^5 on the GREAT workout! That gets you extra points!!! I'm impressed with your determination to add on PLB floor! Its a toughie. I'll be holding the good thoughts.



Hope everyone else is just busy doing fun Sunday things...... we miss you !
 
Jane, your poor dad!! So sorry it happened over the weekend and that he has to wait until the a.m. for relief... will be interested to hear what the doctor says when he gets there. Thanks for keeping us updated.

Wow, on that workout! No wonder you were hungry!

We had a birthday dinner for our DIL today - all my 5 children plus DIL and the grandbaby. She's turning 23 later this week. We had chicken fajitas, chips and salsa, raspberry/ice cream shakes and fudge cake. I'm amazed, but I was able to stick with two whole wheat fajitas (although big ones) and passed on everything else.

But I wasn't all that hungry.... ?????!!??

Anyway, have a great Sunday night, everyone!

hey, all, the ICU was pretty slow, so they floated me out to another floor.
I am just not used to running the halls anymore!!! I should have worn my HRM tonight, just to see how many additional calories I burn!!!

DH is doing better tonight. He's at least able to move today and spent all day on the phone for hotel reservations in Jacksonville, FL. It turns out that he's still going to go with his friend whose having cancer treatment there. They leave Tuesday and are supposed to come back Thursday! I hope that the trip treats him nicely and that he listens to his body and not push himself as he is wont to do!!! I am glad that he's going though, just for a change of scenery as well as being needed!

Tonight was PLB and I swear that I need to check into some different spring clips for the barbell. It took me 30 min to go the first 20 minutes of the workout because I kept having to fight with the darn spring clips!!! I kept having to pause the workout! Oh well, I still matched Cathe without problems and it felt great! I know, though, that it won't feel great tomorrow!!!}(

Jane- I am sorry to hear that your dad isn't really much better. I hope that the pressure valve release helped a bit, though!

I don't want to tie up the computer too long and I don't want to have to worry about the other nurses not being able to find me, so I will sign off.

Cheryl- I have Boot Camp on my "to-do" list for Tuesday this week. I am following Cathe's January rotation, but mixing the days to fit my week a little better and Tuesday is my Cardio/Weight day. I haven't done the whole thing "as written" yet, YIKES!
