Good Morning Violets:)

Cathy,just in case you stop by this morning-It was so nice to hear from you yesterday! And don't worry,you'll be back on track in no time!:)

Did time go back last night? I think it did,alteast that's what my computer is telling me,LOL!Todays workout is a powerwalk with ankle weights and thats it,I've got some DOMS going on from PH yesterday!

Girls Ive got some Anxiety about registration tonight(starts at midnight tonight)The last time I went to register the college system wouldn't let me in and one of the classes I wanted to take filled in less than an hour(after midnight:eek:)Well I double checked with the college system, and it should let me in.I hope so:+

In other words I have one class left and Im hoping to get in (registered) tonight,everybody keep their fingers crossed for me!

Hi Amelia and gang!

Isn't it great we get an extra hour? I love it! So I officially started P90x yesterday with my SIL. I am freakin' out. It is so different than what i am used to. We are following the classics rotation, and it's really a huge commitment. And I am a commitment phobe! It's alot of weights, and pretty limited cardio to begin with. Yesterday was chest and shoulders,and ab ripper x. Today we are doing a cardio called Plyometrics. All the w/o are under and hour. I am going to have to do some searching on Cathe to find out more. I am sure it will be fine, I am just nervous about something new, with so little cardio, but maybe this is what i need!

Amelia--good job with PH yesterday. Have fun on your walk. Ugh, registration. Good luck, why is it at midnight? What a pain.

Lori--I am glad you got your run it. WTG! One more day (night) to go for you!

Cheryl--great work out yesterday! You are kicking butt. Good job. What is on tap today?

Lainie--hope you are feeling better? Do you take any vitamins? Echinachea and Vit C, plus tons of water may help. Sorry you feel crappy. Being sick is the WORST!

Hi everyone. The boys and I are hanging out in our pj's today, watching a Harold & the Purple Crayon video. DH is in NYC for the Marathon--not running, just volunteering.

I didn't eat well yesterday--I'd like to blame it on being sick. Not much motivation or energy to work on being good. I still feel sick today but I have more energy so I hope I can do better.

I also didn't get a workout in, since I felt so crappy. Today is normally my rest day but I am thinking about doing something later since I rested yesterday.

Amelia, hope you get the class you want!

Carrie, good luck with P90X! I am too intimidated to try that one yet.

I was going to write good morning but its not morning anymore, atleast not here anyway. Yesterday when I was out running I passed two old ladies and I said "good morning", meanwhile it was 2 in the afternoon,LOL:)

I had a much better night last night.I think I slept from 11:30-4:30:) Then from 8:30-11:30 when I got home. I feel good.
Im hoping to get a workoit in but apparently DS already had a nap which makes it a little harder:-( Im sure DH will watch him for an hour , I just feel like he had him alnight and all morning so I should take my turn. Meanwhile, when I was off, I had him all day and DH would play hockey in the evening! I think I will ask him to watch him for an hour so I can get something in...just not sure what it will be:) The weather isn't good here so I run is out of the question. Im hoping to get out tomorrow and Tuesday.

Ameila** I have everything crossed for ya! Fingers, toes and eyes!!! Good luck and keep us posted:)

Carrie** Does DH know you have a problem with commitment! LOL I know what you mean though. I have trouble sticking to a rotation if I don't really enjoy the workouts listed. Let us know how it goes for ya. I was tempted to buy that series a few times and never did it, I don't think I would have used them that much. It may be just the thing you are looking for though.

Laine** I saw your post regarding the "average" size women. Im surprised that Canadian women are a little bigger then American though. Not b/c the women around here are so small cause they aren't but I just keep hearing about how Americans are overweight and I don't think we hear much about our own Country.I didn't eat 100% good yesterday either and I blame it on being sleepy. Thats what happens when I don't get enough sleep. I guess out bodies crave sweets for energy...or carbs anyway.

Alright, its taken me forever to write this cause I had a baby crawling over me, I made more coffee and now I am feeding DS. Im pretty sure someone else as posted since I started this! LOL I also asked DH when I should workout and he said this afternoon, looks good after all!

Hi, everyone! Lainie, I'll have to check out the NYC Marathon coverage this morning. Still love to follow those even thought I don't really like to do full marathons anymore.

Carrie, wow, I'm impressed that you're going to attempt P90X. I gave it a try and it wasn't for me. Tony annoys me too much }( }( x(
But I have sure seen some impressive results. Be sure to keep us posted.

Amelia, I'll be watching for good news on your class registration.

I haven't picked my workout this morning, but with the clocks turned back I'm hoping to make good use of the extra hour! My booty is feeling yesterday's workout. This time my inner thighs aren't hurting though. Hmmm. Maybe I need to break down an buy a 30 lb. dumbell like Cathe's after all (I used a 25).

Weekends are probably my only chance to stop by here…but I’d still like to and will do my best to jump in and catch up at least somewhat.

Amelia :: good luck! Hope you get the class you need.

Carrie :: you should find TONS of threads on P90X…I completed one round last spring and am about to begin another in December with the Cabs and Abs group. For me, too, it was a TOTALLY different approach to working out. Generally, I stuck with Tony for the weights but subbed the cardio, so I could get my runs in…The first time I used bands, but now I’ve invested in a door gym, so I’m pumped (and scared!) about doing the real-deal pull-ups! Good luck!

Lainie :: if you can handle Cathe, you most definitely can handle Tony. Hope you’re feeling better.

Lori :: hope you enjoy your w/out, whatever it winds up being.

Cheryl :: enjoy those DOMS. It is nice having the extra hour, but I wouldn’t mind if they did away with DST altogether.

Today's workout was 4DS SC&C and a 3 mile run.

Hey Chickies:)

At work again, punching my last shift:) Can't wait to be off tomorrow but I did decide to send DS to the sitters for a couple of hours tomorrow morning. I will get a little more shut eye and be able to deal with everything that comes my way a little better.

I did the Gualant today...well, only 5 seg. It was a good workout though. Im hoping to get a long run in tomorrow, then wind should be died down by tomorrow afternoon:)

Laine, I guess I didn read that post wrong...thats what I get for reading things in the middle of the night:)

Cheryl,what did you decide to do today? Sounds like your sore from yesterdays workout? Gotta love it!

Well, I will be spending the next few mins bidding on something things on ebay for Christmas..I haven't bidded yet so Im just gotta jump in at the last mins.
I will also check in in the morning before I leave work. Our computer isn't working at home and DH will have the laptop taken with him:-(
