Happy Good Morning! Its gonna be a fabulous weekend- I can just feel it!!

Completed yesterdays cardio workout after 6:30pm- maybe doing a PM one will shock my body! I had the 1/2 zombie day with 4 hours sleep Thursday nite so I just procrastinated on what cardio to do all day... Decided I could not go another day without Tony (its been like 8 days already!) so I popped in Sweat 5/6 from Master Series... PERFECT as I was in no shape to do anything overly strenuous at least not for a long duration. Its got 6-8 minutes of Yoga and thats good cuz I never did Yoga yesterday either! Very PlyoX-ish but all moves are just 30 seconds ... boom boom boom DONE!I felt so much better sticking to my cardio plan. THEN I woke up so happy today that I made myself get in a workout last night! I think following Tony really gave me a sense of what sticking to a rotation plan feels like in terms of accomplishment. Its a great feeling for me. I so enjoyed working out with Tony again too. He was really funny(dorky) in spots in Sweat 5/6 right up until last 1 sec of stretch. He is just adorable! I will be very excited to do another X round down the road and am very happy I bought Master Series so I can still get my fix every few days.

Today is GS Chest & Triceps + Ab work + 45 minutes of Kick
*Extra Tricep work to be from SH today.

I have to re-work my cardio plan for next week as I can tell my knees are not happy I am back doing so much step work... I'll have to rotate things around or maybe just use 1 riser on easier cardio days. We'll see.

Your DS seems to really be healing nicely! Staying up all morning really shows that he must be very resilient and healthy. Does he take after mom? Hope that hammy gets worked out soon - I find so many lower back issues triggered by those. Is he going to be doing Physical Therapy at all?

Thanks for tricep tips. I am re-working my rotation and doing Triceps 3x a week vs 2. If I am recalling correctly my SH rotation last year gave me great triceps, I know P90X did as well but they sure dimished quickly once I stopped all Tonys work. 80% of his tricep work is from varied hand position push ups! UGH!:eek: What a load off your mind that the "talk" has been had! Its so cool that you made a decision and acted immediately! I can feel the weight of the world lifted off your shoulders. Will you be "splitting" client base or will you have to buy them from her? I hope the entire process is free from any & all ugliness. There's no reason that this move shouldnt be prosperous & benefit both parties. I will hold that thought for you!

Sounds like your dad was pretty excited to have his little girl home! Shoot- the bologna sounds so good to me.. Thats food we grew up on but havent touched the stuff in at least 20 years! Fried Bologna Sandwiches! A staple in a limited income household with kids!
I'm so impressed by your determination to get the workouts in everyday! I think we all tend to have the all or nothing mentality but its really kind of an excuse (at least for me). When I think "Well, I dont have the full hour or two, why bother" I always think of Cathe's CTX & Timesaver Series... Even a little done regularly is what we need to succeed in health & weight loss. ^^5 Hope Drill Max rocks your world! I LOVE IT!

You get extra smileys today for your personal! Hope DH doesnt wake up stiff & sore or that his neck/back issues are not going to worsen due to accident. So did you get a great workout in last night or go the "wine" route?}( At times like that I sure wish I had a Kickbox bag in my equipment listing! I hope mentally you just take a little time and have a good cry - I dont see you doing that much but take it from your CRYING FRIEND.. Its very cathartic! :*

Hey, all!

Just coming up for air....didn't head to bed until close to 2a so I could sleep for work tonight.


Anyway, no word from DH, he's still sleeping...which I know's sounds like a lot, but before his accident, he hadn't slept much more that about 2 hrs/day for about 4 days straight!!!

I kicked out Body Max, although it wasn't at my normal intensity, but it still felt good.....THEN I had some wine. I didn't have a lot, but just a glass with dinner (leftover shrimp fettuccini). Today is Cardio Kicks. I just got that one in the mail Wednesday and was able to preview enough of it that I think I can "fake" my way through it.

I will check in later from work!

Amy I hope you and your husband are feel better today!

Yesterday morning my doughter Alesia(21) and I went to a German Kaffeeklatsch (a bunch of ladies get together for Coffee). I liked it because there were younger and older (my age!) ladies. We had lots of fun. My daughter was so afraid to speak German, but she had no choice they made her. Alesia is fluent in German. Army Community Service (ACS) just offered this service. I am glad for all of the young Germans that have never been away from home, it really helps. They are going to have a Kaffeeklatsch once a month, which isn't bad. Doesn't take me away from my workout. I was so proud of my self, I didn't eat any cake!!!!

I went last night to an arobic class, wich was free. The lady who is teaching the class is our Commanders secretary, she invited me to come. She also was doing alot of Cathe's steps. Although I have to admit it wasn't that intense for me. She did 30 min. step,(which was not long enough for me, 30 min. intervals and 30 min. abs. I didn't come home until 9 p.m. That was a little late for me, I am a morning or afternoon exericer.

I am still sitting here and drinking my coffee.

Today is KPC or KM since I don't have Cario Kicks!
I saw CTX on ebay today! Maby I'll put a bid in. But my luck the price will go up and I will end up buying it from Cathe's website.LOL!!!

Just an accountability update for me....

I just completed todays strength training for Chest - Triceps + Extra Triceps for some muscle baby.... OH C*AP. I cannot lift my arms... Literally!
I did the extra Triceps first (SH) then did GS Chest & Tri (alternating parts & Pushups) M*O*M*M*Y* I stayed with 15's for nearly all reps & cycles - did 90% of Pushups on toes but NO WAY would that happen if I hadnt alternated parts & moves.

I finished, ate & went to grab a cup of java.... First one fell right out of hands... second one I poured liquid egg whites in thinking it was my Soy Milk Creamer.......I am cramping already (45minutes post workout) Yes delierium is setting in. TOASTY TOASTY TOASTY.
I still have cardio to do but there will be NO kick for me today- Gotta lift your arms to do that sooooo ...I am changing to Circuit Max but just the cardio parts- Probably 2x through.
Ladies I have decided to change the next two weeks to 1 body part a day and work them REALLY good like I did today. Yep- I'll get that damn horseshoe yet!
Will start laundry - let meal 2 digest and hit the Circuit Max...

Traci, you are so funny! I love your description of your S&H tri's. I think S&H is in some ways the hardest series Cathe has produced, and although there wasn't so much fun factor, I want to seriously give these a lot of effort within the next couple of months. I'm not surprised you got your best triceps reaction from those.

Yes, I am so relieved the talk has been had. We are 50/50 owners. She would have to buy me out if there were to be a noncompete, but I think the better option is to let the clients sort themselves (as they would naturally do anyway) and then divide up the assets fairly after we know where the revenue division will go. Now will be the hardest part, because she'll hope I'll just "leave" like a resignation. Fortunately for me, her ego is ginormous and any aspect of this that allows her to become sole owner of the existing entity and to save face will buy me a lot of mileage }( }( }(

Amy, so glad you are in better spirits this morning. I knew things would look better after a good night's sleep. Glad you enjoyed your workout.

Belinda, glad things are going well - sounds like you're on track for a great weekend!

Teddygirl, don't you be shopping too hard!!

My running partner had to cancel this morning, so I slept a little later than usual and then tried Maximum Intensity Cardio for the first time followed by a 45 min TM run. Just right!

Tomorrow I will do a heavy weights day - maybe both upper and lower body if I'm up to it.

WOW, Traci! What a workout! I have worked to muscle fatigue before, but only to where the arms were noodle-y, not working at all!!! I hope that you enjoy the feeling while it lasts! I also wish you many DOMS tomorrow! BTW, where do you find your Soy Creamer? I have gone cold turkey on creamer and was just curious.

Belinda- It sounds like you had fun. My SIL is a German instructor in Texas and is heading for Germany this summer sometime. She likes to go every few years just to make sure she isn't developing "an accent" from living in the U.S.!

Cheryl- I glad that the split is more amicable that you feared it was going to be! Sorry about your partner bailing on you, but it sounds like you got in a good workout anyway!!!

I woke up about 1 hr before my alarm was set for with a loudly grumbling tummy!!! It took me about 15 min of flipping through my mental menu before deciding on some yogurt and peanut butter before my workout. I don't like eating anything heavy, so this seemed like the perfect answer. Problem is, I love the Dannon Fit n Light Vanilla so much that I have a really hard time sticking to the serving size!!! I get in the quart containers and could probably eat the entire thing in one sitting!!!

I am finally checking in for the day. My parents may have internet but its dial up so if I have a choice i would rather wait and run next door to use my brothers computer. I guess my parents have nothing else to do but sit and wait for every page to upload.It drives me insane!

I wanted to do DM today but I didn't realize that there was no aerobics step at my parents house. I thought my sister had one there but I was wrong. So lucky for me, I brought KM with me and I did that instead. I had a good workout and once again, when I was getting out of the shower I could hear the babe crying so I had to hurry..but I got my workout in!:)

Traci, I use to eat bologna and when I was preggo I ate it a couple of times but I try to stay away from that stuff. Its also a good thing that I am not a big meat eater of maybe I would want to eat bologna.

Cheryl, I have a running partner and I am wondering if I will be able to keep up with her this yr. We use to run atleast 14 kms a day and chat along the way. I think I have to build up my stamina in order to do that by May or June.

Eating as been good today and the scale was down again but my actual weigh in day is tomorrow. I am also not craving sweets and after my meals are done I get up and move on instead of feeling like I am not finished b/c I didn't have dessert.
I will check in again tomorrow.

hello everyone!

Went to DS's today and he is doing so well. He was up for the most of the day and finally laid down, he tires easily. Traci - he is not doing any formal physical therapy which I thought was odd but they didn't schedule any for him. He is moving around very well I thought for someone with a broken back.

I did pretty well today eating wise until DH and I went out to grab a bite to eat with DD and her boyfriend this evening. We went to this mom and pop restaurant near where we live that has just unbelievable BBQ, I can never pass that up!! Then the little girl scout got me coming out of WalMart this evening... three boxes.. *sigh*...

I may be paying WW towards the end of this month if I can't get a handle on this.

Oh... I haven't eaten three boxes of GS cookies but I have been into one of the boxes! :p
 
Waves at everyone!

I'm at work right now and really can't describe just how much I DON'T want to be here!!!

Part of it is that I'm really worried about DH. I just got off the phone with him and he sounds so depressed, sad and worried!!! Just wished I could make it all better for him (and us!!!).

Well, I did Cardio Kicks tonight and LOVED it!! It was so fun, although super intense. I know that I'm going to feel it tomorrow!

Oh, I was looking at some of the threads earlier this week about the losing weight and the number of calories you need, etc. Anyway, I calculated it up 3 different times, using the 3 main equations and each time, it came up to be that at my weight and activity level, I still need at least 2100 calories to lose weight. Now if this is true, that means that roughly keeping to the 1700 cals/day that I have been is 500 cals short of where I need to be!!! So, then yesterday, I re-calculated my weight loss goals on Spark People to lose 1 lb/week and is has me eating about 2100 calories/day! I will try it for a couple of weeks, but man, that just seems like a lot of food, especially with clean eating! We'll see...maybe it will be a good thing with all the stress. Oh, that reminds me. Since I have my doctor's appt this Wednesday, I was going to restart the birth control pills, but I thought better of it since I want to get my hormone levels checked. I think that with this last week's happenings, I may also broach the topic of my depression that hits every once in a while as well!! Oh, the things I needs to discuss...I just hope that she's got enough time! Good thing that my appt is at 0845!!

I know that's probably TMI, but since I really don't have a really close friend here that I can talk to (in person), you all are going to have to take the brunt of it! Sorry!;-)
