Weight Watchers...........Monday!

Good Morning Girls!:)

My DS was feeling better as of last night so I hope he wakes up feeling alot better! Todays workout is going to be C&W,I can't wait! Its been six days since my last workout! x(

I started counting calories instead of pts(around 15-1600 a day) I threw my scale away last weekend. I may buy a better quality one or just go by my measures everymonth! Im tired of the scale getting me all depressed;-)

Amelia, glad to hear DS is feeling better and that you will be able to get a workout in! And you threw your scale away??? Have you completely LOST it?;) I don't think I would have thrown mine out without having a new one to replace it with! LOL I get on mine almost everyday and my weight is staying the same, 123-123.6. When I was preggo my battery gave out. Thats porbably the worst thing that could have happened b/c within 2 monthes I had gained 20 lbs:eek: Probably wouldn't have happened if my scale were working....or nor quit as much weight!

Laine, I read about your feet yesterday but didn't comment. Thats a long walk with high heel boots on. I don't think I would have made it to the end of the st!Then again, some of my boots are so high I feel like I am falling forward! haha My new VS boots are pretty high but they have grips on the bottom so I don't worry about falling down. Hope your ankle isn't bothering you to much today.

Cheryl, how are things with you? How is the challenge going??? Yeah, Scrammbled eggs is a toughy. I think I did that one 2x last week. I burned about 500 cals. Running outside burns so many more though and that just makes me want to run. You don't have to think...just run!:) But...thats comming to an end soon. I think I will be lost not being able to run outside during the winter monthes. I hope I don't have to build my stamina up to much next Spring to push the stroller again. Not to mention he will be heavier!And if DH has his way, I will be pregnant again! ICK!

Belinda, whats your workout plans for the day? Thats a good gift for your kids. A plane ticket to Germany can't be cheap! DD wrote down all the places I was allowed to shop for her last night. As if!I said " you trust me to pick out your clothes?" She said " well, if you go to these places, you can't go wrong" haha. Needless to say, everytime I look she has something on belong to ME! We more like sisters then mom and daughter sometimes!

AGAIN!..my plans were to run outside but guess what??? Its raning! Everyday I think its suppose to be sunny, its not actually calling for sun until the afternoon and I like getting my workouts done in the A.M. It may clear up enough to get a run in. The last time I went it wasn't to bad but there was a time before that I went and it started to rain and the legs of my pants were so wet they started twisting over. I thought I was gonna trip. So I need to wait till the pavement dries a little.

Hi everyone.

DH is out of town again, this time to London, but only for a couple days. I'm trying to figure out what to do with my day today. I might do some Christmas shopping while both boys are in school, but I don't know if I've planned sufficiently for that. I like to have detailed lists first. So maybe I should just work on the lists.

Today I plan to do the 4DS: Kickbox workout. I will probably have to modify a bit for my ankle both for the kickboxing and the leg work, so we'll see how that goes. It's very hard to burn a decent amount of calories when you're being cautious!

Lori, hope you get a chance to run today; I'm sure if not you'll come up with some great workout that will make me tired just to read about it. :)

OK, gotta run take Isaac to the bus stop.

Hi girls,

Lori-I went to the gym and ran 17 min. on the TM! I did one hour power yoga at the gym! I really liked it!! I am getting ready to do S & H Back and Chest!

Amelia glad your DS is feeling better! Have fun with C & W!

Lori, my challenge is going really well. With 4 weeks (at least) without business travel I'm able to give it my whole focus. I'm realizing I had let the first 6 months of my new business cause me to reverse course with my eating (even though my workouts have been great) and I'm paying the price - but that's okay. That's how we learn. I'm managing about a 700 calorie deficit every day, slow and steady, and I intend to make the results permanent this time!!

Lori, are you sure you won't run during the winter? My running club continues on, rain or shine - you just have to dress in layers and wear gloves, headband, etc. Even in the worst of winter you can get some little cat-track things for your shoes to keep you from slipping if it's really doing enough for you to be worth it a few times a week. I'm going to try to keep it up, best I can - it helps me to run with others, even though I have a great treadmill at home.

Amelia, I am with you all the way on counting calories, not points. It's doing me so much better. I count them on SparkPeople, scrupulously. As per the Leanness Lifestyle recommendations (which is what I'm following right now) I'm shooting for 1200 calories and at least 70 vigorous workout minutes a day. It's doing me a lot of good.

Lainie, let us know how that Kickbox does for you!!

Cheryl-I wonder if 1300-1600 is too many calories for me? I got that figure from sparkpeople?(based on my weight) I too did sparkpeople for about three days and decided to do my food diary instead-the kids get frustrated with me when iam on the computer!(my ds is in my lap right now;) ) Good luck to you on your challenge!

Lainie-It must be hard when your DH goes away,london sounds exciting though,I would LOVE to go there one day!(but not on a bussiness trip;-))I wish him a safe return to ya and have fun x-mas shopping or prepairing the list to do so!

Lori-Yep,ive lost it;-),im not gonna weigh for a while since my weight has been holding steady with the way i've been eating.But,I started this new way of eating on saturday so I'll weigh in a month(on the seventh of december) and see how it goes.With the holdiays comeing up,I've really got to watch it. How did the b-day party go?

Belinda-Great workout this am,I had a yoga dvd but donated it to the liabrary-I just couldn't "get" into it? I guess im just to hyper,need to work on that,LOL!

Im done with my workout,good workout. Im sitting hear in my workout close and I need to get my butt in the shower and do some house cleaning. My son just had a celabration with the pepper in his bedroom and got pepper in his eye-but it wouldn't too bad-I had a problem trying to cathch him,gosh he's fast. I know he's up to somthing when he gets quiet,LOL.
 
Amelia..reading when you are going to weigh put a knot in my stomach...just makes me realize how cloes christmas is!!! Not b/c thats when you gonna weigh in! LOL If your scale is driving you nuts, then you did the right thing.

Cheryl, the sidewalks are covered in snow here in the winter monthes and the st's can be pretty gross. I certainly won't be able to take DS which means I would only be able to run in the night time...and that means the roads are even worse when its really cold.Theres just to much snow here. Glad to hear your challenge is going good!

Laine, hope you get some shopping done. I did a little on Sun but didnt put a big dent in it!

I got out for a run.It didn't look promising at first but I got out and got it done! I didn't go quit as long but I did get 70 mins in. Prehaps I will do GS legs tonight if DH goes back to work.
