Good Morning,:)

Actually, there will be no turkey here today. I went to buy one yesterday but they were all sold!;( I didn't really want to cook the stupid bird anyway;) DH and I decided the last minute that we would have turkey but when I went to the store, alot of things were gone. I guess b/c it was closed for a day they didn't restock their meat dept. So....I don't know whats for supper today. Its the same as any other day. Now, if my MIL were here we would be having turkey!

I have a fairly busy week this week. My sister sells party lite and I am having a party on Wed night. I have to make a couple of things and pick up stuff for punch. My evenings are pretty hectic as it is and now Ive thrown a party in on top of it. I am also having girls night here this Sat night. Should be fun.

I don't know what "new" sleeping pattern DS as got! He went to bed last night and woke 4 x's before I even went to bed and then he cried everytime I put him back in his crib. I then put him in bed with me, where he slept peacefully for 5 hours. Dare I say it? Could be be spoiled? I never use to put him in bed with me though but now I think he likes it. Of course, I love it but I won't when he is 5! Anyway, I haven't checked for teeth yet, maybe thats what was bothering him.

I was going to go for a run today but its raining out. Prehaps the rain with stop within the next couple of hours, if not, I may do BM2.

Amelia** congrats on the inches! You must be happy with that? ow are you feeling now? Cold gone?

Cheryl** hope you get over your trip soon:) Flying is no good for anyone! How is the challenge going? Do you guys weigh in at work?

Belinda** hope everything is o.k in Germany! You should be starting this thread every morning! Your up waaaaaaaaaaay before us.

Laine** how is the ankle? Gonna get another cardio workout in? Must feel nice to move! I think Id crack up!

Connie :: hi! I remember your introduction on the open forum…I joined WW about 4 weeks ago and initially hoped to post on this check-in on a regular basis, but since I already belong to two other check-ins, that was overshooting it a bit. So, I’m just trying to drop in every now and then to say hey!…Exercise is not typically the struggle for me…I am disciplined on that end…it’s the eating where I cut loose, and WW was *just* what I needed to get focused. I did have two weeks in a row where I went over points (last week, I was only over by 2.5), but I’m happy to say I’ve pulled it together. Today is my last day of the week and I still have 25 of my flex points…Glad to hear there was a positive resolution to your problem.

Does anyone buy some of the WW food? I am completely hooked on the Honey Almond Crisp cereal! Deeelish!!

Good Morning Girls!

Well,im debating on working out today.Im still sniffing and i can feel drainage in the back of my throat. My DH said it might make me "feel better" if I do! I just don't want to make it worse! If I do decide to workout it will be something light like LIS! Im dying to do B&G's:+

Lori-Happy Turkey Day:7,I didn't know Thanksgiving was in oct. in canada..kinda neat! I Hate the grocery stores(especialy wally world)around the holidays around here....I try to buy everything about two weeks early to avoid the chaos! Im sorry your little guy isn't sleeping well,perhaps he does have a tooth coming inn!

Cathy-Congrats on the 1.4pds lost...Yah! My scale is also down (right now;-))it goes up and down,I don't really pay it any mind though,I think all the weight work is doing it.

Amelia :: my scale has fluctuated, too. On Sunday, I was overjoyed b/c it showed a 5 lb. loss. But then this morning (official WI), that number was back up by about 4 lbs. BOO!!! I should've known that was too good to be true...I'm trying not to become obsessed, but it's hard...I am sick now, too. Last night, I felt a sore throat coming on, and this morning, I woke up feeling like hell. Was going to try to go into work but then I barfed just as I was about to leave. (Sorry if TMI.) So, I'm home today and will rest.

Cathy,Im sorry your not feeling well(I hope I didn't give it to you;-))I've got a itchy throat,stuffy nose and my head is hurting like Hell! I think its allergies(well at first)but now its more like a cold! My scale fluctuates back and forth around 5-6pds! Im going to try and only WI once a month(the same day I measure myself,on the seventh)because it drives me insane to WI once a week!But,the good news is i lose in measurements:7(lost almost 3inches last month)now if I wasn't loosing there,i would be depressed,LOL!

Did you eat something salty yesterday? Or perhaps a weight workout!Weight workouts ALWAYS make me gain around 5pds (water*sigh*)x(.

As soon as I get better,iam doing a B&G's rotation...doing it twice a week(with abbs)and one circuit(heavey weights)and then some UB on alternating days(twice a week).And of course I've got my cardio six times a week! I just have to make sure I give each muscle group a rest day after there worked! Im going to try this rotation for a month!

I decided NOT to workout today,my head is hurting agian and i don't want to aggravate my symptoms! Im sure I'll be back quite a bit today :)

I napped for a bit and am now drinking another Airborne. Tastes like garbage, but hopefully, it will work. (Sometimes it does; sometimes it doesn't for me.)

Amelia :: sounds like our symptoms are the same...plus I've got some aching and nausea, which comes and goes...I ate some crackers earlier and think I'll be able to keep 'em down...CONGRATS on your inches lost!!!...My scale stayed the same for months on end prior to joining WW, but I was slowly and steadily losing inches, so I wasn't too hung up on the scale. But now I've just lost my patience and I want results already!!...I don't think I ate anything particularly salty yesterday. I did end my week w/ 15 flex pts. to spare, which was my best week yet...I am doing a circuit rotation, too...running or k'boxing 4x a week, 2 circuits, and 1 leg w/out. Today is supposed to be a yoga or stretch day, but I don't feel like doing much of anything. ETA: There was a thread awhile back by Emily aka Materialsgirl which gave tips on how to change the font, font size, etc. I'll see if I can find it for you.

Cathy-Thanks for the threads,I'll go check them out! I remember those threads...but I had a problem understanding themx((or maybe I was just having one of "those" days,LOL;-)). I understand loosing patience with weight lost...I think the last clock-work weight lost I had(as I like to call it,losing weight every week) was back in the spring:+ . But the inches are coming off,but Dang I've got alot to loose and I want to see the SCALE go down...so,I know what you mean! Sounds like a good rotation you've got scheduled.

Cheryl-Boy,your a busy gal...all that traveling! Sounds so fun,I live in GA and I've been in the surrounding states but no further! Have a safe trip,I'll Wave as your plan passes by;-)

Cathy, congrats on the weight loss. 1.4 lbs is good though. But if you saw a 5 lbs loss yesterday, Im willing to bet it will go down again in the next couple of days.

Amelia, did you workout? I think your DH is right. Unless I am REALLY sick I still push through my workouts and the cold never hits me very hard cause I keep truck'in!

I FINALLY got a workout done. I started cleaning, then I put some stuff on ebay and then DS was awake again. The weather isn't very nice here today, its been raining all day. So I did BM2 premix scrammbled eggs and GS Bic and Shoul. It was a loooooooooong workout but a goody. If the weather isn't nice tomorrow I don't have a clue what I will do. I was hoping to get a run in before baby group.

Hey girls. I took the boys to the aquarium in Norwalk, CT today--met a friend there with her 3 kids. The kids had a great time but I thought the aquarium was a bit over-priced for being a fairly small aquarium--thought the same when we met at a zoo over in CT one time and they didn't even have giraffes (Isaac's favorite animal). Anyway, we left this morning and just got back--oh wait, I've been home two hours but had to put Ewan down for a nap and then do some housework.

No workout today as I spent so much time on our little trip--also did lots of walking, not just in the aquarium but also walked down the road to lunch and then around that part of town a bit. It's also 90 degrees today. 90 degrees! In October! Ugh. Tomorrow the high is only 75 so I'm thinking it will be a nicer day for a circuit workout or something.

Lori--well, Turkey Day for you (though without a turkey) and Columbus Day here. That's why we went to the aquarium--kids are off school today. I'm thinking tomorrow I might go get some fitness stuff--a new barbell and a Bosu, perhaps. I preordered Amy Bento's and Tracey Staehle's new workouts and both have some Bosu parts. Anyway, good luck with your DS's sleeping patterns! My oldest woke me at least 4 times last night just to tell me that either he needed to pee or he needed to get water (related, of course). He can do those things himself but always feels he has to tell me.

Cathy--it was awful--I hurt my ankle way back on August 21st (I remember exactly because it was the day before my birthday) and didn't feel ready to do cardio until this past weekend! I probably would have done some a week earlier, but didn't want to risk anything right before our little trip to NYC. I hope you feel better soon!

Amelia--same for you, hope you recover soon from your illness. I also have the weight fluctuation--right now I'm a few days before my period so it is up again--I can totally feel it in clothes that fit fine last week and are now too tight--water retention, mostly (I hope). I haven't had enough water today, either, because I didn't want to drink too much while we were out so I wouldn't need to go while driving!

Cheryl--have fun in Orlando--is it business or pleasure this time?

Belinda--I'm impressed at how quickly you got back to regular workouts after moving--heck, you kept going right through the move, didn't you? I always let moves throw me off all my good habits for a while!

OK, sounds like Ewan is awake so my free time is over.
