Well...no nap for moi!:-( DH wanted to take me to look at the jeep. Its still being cleaned up. Its a very nice jeep, nice color to! I guess we should have it within the next couple of days.

Stacy** Ryan still as a morning nap? Rylan only has one a day now. A long one in the afternoon, sometimes its over 3 hours but then he doesn't go to bed until 8:30 and thats with a fight. I liked it more when he went to bed at 7:30 cause that gave me some downtime. When he goes to bed at 9, I feel like going right behind him.

Belinda** Im not sure if there are any non meat recipes. I will look though.

Kristine** Hope your feeling better soon. Whats wrong? Cold?

Ameila** I have to have alittle sweetness on my pancake. Whats a pancake without syrup or yogurt? LOL They are niced topped with fruit and yogurt as well.

My plan tomorrow morning is to get up early and workout again. If I do this i will definitly need a nap b/c I have to work tomorrow night.

Belinda this is the only one that doesn't have meat, but it has cheese. Not sure if you eat cheese.

Chili Rellenos cassarole

3 Cans (4oz) whole green chilies, drained
4 oz reduced-fat Monterey Jack cheese
1 1/4 c egg substitute
1/2 c flour
1/2 c skim milk
1/2 c reduced-fat cheddar cheese,shredded
1 tsp chili powder
2 green onions sliced
1/2 c salsa

*Preheat oven 350F
*Lightly coat an 11"x7" baking dish with cooking spray
*Lay whole green chilies out on paper towels.Slice Monterey jack cheese into the same numver of pieces as there are chilies. Insert a slice of cheese inside each chili and arrange evenly in baking dish
*In med mixing bowl,whisk together egg sub,flour and milk. Pour egg mixture over chilies in dish.
*Layer shredded cheese on top of cassarole, then sprinkle with chili powder and green onions.
*Bake for 35 mins or until top is golden brown and toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
*Cut into 4 portions and top with salsa.

Belinda-I keep changing my mind of what im ordering x( I'd like to have STS but dang thats alot of money? but it is 37dvd :eek:...lol where on earth would I put them...You see how my mind works? lol:+ I thinking about not ordering SJP/SB and just getting the gym series and sts }( ...??????

dang,time flys when your having fun..gotta go get my DD but Im gonna list my meals for today first;
B-two protien pancakes,1 fried egg(in pam)and v8
s-chocolate fudge protein pudding
L-l-1/4c refried beans,1/4c LF cheese,WW tortilla and tons of
lettuce,small tomatoe 1/2 small apple
S-1/2 serving of pistachios
D-Garlic shrimp with stewed tomatoes over WW penne pasta:9 (will measure pasta) side salad
S-string cheese and 1/2 apple

Question:does it look like im having too much protien? I can't wait to get the book so I can stop asking so many dang questions;-):7

Here are some dessert recipes!


Strawberry Cheesecake (8 servings)

*1 cup low fat cottage cheese
*1 tbsp vanilla extract
*3 tbsp splenda granular
*12 oz fat free cream cheese, softened
*1 c egg substitute
*1 ready crust reduced fat graham cracker crust
*1/2 c fat free sour cream
*2 tsp sugar substitute
*1 c fresh strawberries sliced

*Preheat over 350F
*Spoon cottage cheese into a blender and blend until smooth, about 30 sec.Add vanilla and splenda,blend for another 15 sec.
*Add cream cheese and blend for another 30 sec,scrapping down the sides as needed.While blending,gradually add the egg sub and continue to blend until smooth, about 45 sec.
*Pour cheese filling into crust and bake until set, about 35 mins.
*Remove cheesecake from oven and cool for about 15 mins. Then cover and refrigerate for atleast 2 hours
*Prior to serving, in a small mixing bowl,combine sour cream and sugar sub.
*Slice cheesecake into 8 portions, top with strawberries and sour cream.


*Anyday Sundae (2 servings)

*1/2 c skim milk
*1 scoop vanilla protein powder
*2 c frozen banana slices
*4 tsp chocolate syrup
*4 Tbsp fat free reddi-whip
*2 tsp chopped nuts
*2 maraschino cherries

*Pour skim milk into blender.Add protein powder and blend on high for about 15 sec.
*Add frozen banana slices and blend on high for 45 sec or until smooth.
*Spoon into 2 dessert bowls. Top each with syrup,reddi wip,nuts and cherry!

* Walnut brownies (12 servings)

*1/2 c soy flour
*1/4 c whole wheat flour
*1/2 c splenda granular
*1/4 c unsweetened cocoa powder
*1/2 tsp baking powder
*1/2 tsp salt
*1/4 c canola oil
*2 tsp vanilla extract
*6 egg whites, beaten
*1/4 c unsweeteneda applesauce
*1/4 c water
*1/3 c walnut pieces

*preheat oven 350F,lighty spray 8"x8" baking dish with butter flavor spray
*In large mxing bowl,sift together first 6 ingredients
*In med mixing bowl mix together oil,egg whites,vanilla,applesauce and water.Pour mixture into flour mixture and stir until blended.
*Pour mixture into baking dish and sprinkle with walnuts. bake until edges spring back when you touch them lightly about 15 mins.
*Allow brownies to cool, then cut.
*serve brownie with a glass of vanilla protein powder mixed with water or milk.

Hi Lori! Wow, lots of great recipes:) Ryan is in transition mode with naps, he sometimes will take a morning nap, and other times stays up longer and goes down for a nap around mid day. The problem with his morning nap is that if he goes down early, he usually won't go down again until bedtime, which can make for a long stretch. I'd really like to get him on that mid day nap because I think he'd feel better.

Anyway, I did get the LIC cardio premix done this morning and man is that FUN!! I decided to do the LIC UB or Total Body workout tomorrow.

How do you all like the LIC total body premix? Does Cathe do abs with this one?

Lori,are those recipes in the BFL recipe book? Oh man that Asian beef stirfry sounds good,have you tried it? I plan on printing what you have typed tommorrow in class.I think I will make chinese food for my cheat on friday LOL}(

Belinda-What is considered heavy? I lift 20lbs Barbell in Biceps,Shoulders.25lbs Barbell in Triceps. 35lbs Barbell in chest.40lbs in squats. and 25lbs in lounges.That doesn't sound too heavy to me?? Maybe I should lighten up on the protein a bit?

Stacey-I can't remember if abbs is in that premix or not? Great job on your workout though,I may have to pull that one out tommorrow and do the step routine!

Belinda** When DS goes to bed I will write the recipe for you.

Stacy** Rylan use to do the same thing and then he would be in bed by 6:30 in the evening! It made for a long day. When he goes to the sitters she likes for him to have a morning nap b/c she likes to go out in the afternoon. Needless to say he is a little moody when he gets home in the evenings! I loaned LIC to a friend so I haven't done it much. I asked for it back the other day but she claims she doesn't have it! I know she does...she just needs to look! Which reminds me to ask her again. Im probably going to have to go look for it myself.

My meals today were as follows:
Meal #1 -2 Protein pancakes/1/2 banana
Meal #2 -french toast at baby group (not BFL!) and fruit
Meal #3- 1 protein pancake/ 1/2 banana (wasn't hungry)
Meal #4- Pork,multi grain bread, big salad with peppers,orange,almonds and onions.
And a chocolate chip cookie! Not BFL either! LOL

LOL lorie,you lucky gal...you get to eat a chocolate chip cookie and not feel bad;-) and mmmmm french toast! One day maybe I can do the same,LOL(about 30pds from now;-))

Amelia, congratulations!!!! I'd take 1.5 lb. down.

Lori, glad you made that run! Must have been hard.

I came down with a terrible cold yesterday. Tonight is better - but yesterday was all tickly and itchy and coughing and eyes watering - that whole routine - and I didn't sleep well last night. So today was an unplanned rest day. Uggh! Will do an indoor workout tomorrow a.m.
