Good morning ladies,

No workout for me today! My DH and I are invited to a castle in Regensburg! I will bring my camera!!I will double up my workout tomorrow!

Have a great Saturday!
Belinda

Hey belinda,im going to copy and paste my book i started a while back, lol!Enjoy your rest day,and the castle in Regensbrg...Man that sounds exciting, yes please post some pics!

Hello ladies!

I guess Im up to early because nobody has started the thread yet:eek:! Of course theres also the possibility that your posting the same time i am,lol

So my WI/measuring was this morning*sighs*no luck with the WI but I lost a half an inch in both thighs, and 3/4's of an inch in my hips and that all.Im satisfied with that! The scale said I was up two pds, guess the two pds I lost last week:+ LOL

so I started counting 1500 calories two weeks ago! Im not sure WHY the scale isn't moving and I am disappointed but I will keep trying! I weigh 194, my goal for right now is 170 Im starting to think that maybe when I weighed 170 ,back in my teens,I didn't have ANY muscle and all this lose skin(I did loose ALOT of weight over the past three years...over 85pds)so anyways Im not the same person I once was so I shouldn't expect the same results! after all in my teens I was basically a case of an undiagnosed anorexic(my dm didn't notice that I wasn't eating,i kinda hid it from her).

so anyhoot,I think I will keep the same rotation that Im doing but will add in on one of the shorter days PH or MIS! I think I need to concentrate on losing inches more than losing pds;-)

ok,sorry girls for the totally self-involved post!

Im sure somebody has posted by now! I will read what I missed yesterday and be back later:7!

Good Morning:) Such as it is! What a night we had last night. My DD went to a friends house, and they live close to my moms. At 12 she calls b/c she as a really bad head, then I have to call my mom to go pick her up. Then DS wakes for the 4th time with a temp and a stuffy nose. DH went to bed and i stayed up till 2, until I couldn't handle it anymore. I think I would have had all the patience in the world but he wasn't acting sick, he was just happy to be up and its almost as if he thought it was morningx( Then the stupid next door neighbours were out on the snowmoblie at 2 in the morning! I WAS SOOOOO MAD! I looked out the window and was getting ready to tell someone off but then I realized they wouldn't be able to hear me. Then they left...seriously though..who in their right mind is out reving up a machine at 2 in the morning. They were probably drinking to..should have called the cops!:)
Thought DS would have alittle sleep in today but that didn't happen either. He was up before 8 and has been very needy all morning. He seems a bit better now that he as had some Tylenol and toast.

Todays workout was going to be a long run....lets see if I have the energy for it!

Belinda** Have a good day! Sounds nice!

Amelia** I think we all go through those times in our teens. I didn't eat much either! I can remember, I would have a slice of cheese whiz toast in the morning, nothing else till supper..small supper, workout ( I worked out to abs of steel back then:+ ) and then I would go to bed early so that I wouldn't get hungry and eat anything:eek: And I weigh the same now and Im not starving myself, go figure! I wouldn't worry a whole lot cause the inches are comming off. It is confusing though why the scale isn't moving. Ive been lucky, ive never had trouble seeing results on a scale. If I was good, the scale always showed it.

Cheryl** Now the confessions come out! LOL And now it makes sense..hehe. You have alot more willpower then I do, Ill tell ya that now. Do you think you will have trouble sticking to it during the holidays? Were routing for ya!

Alright..crying baby!

Lori:)

Oh...todays weight 116.6...and Im not sure what my BF% is according to my WW's scale. 2 numbers show up, 21.9 % and 19.9% either one of them are good numbers. When it switches numbers the scale is to far away to read whats what. I have no clue where my manual is either to find out.

Off to get my run in!

Lori:)

hey girls, just finished my usual lunch...turkey sandwich and salad.

I went for a hour power walk this morning and came back to a toy infested living roomx( of course DH was playing his nintendo wiix( letting them(kids)run wild through the house!sigh

Lori-WOW,your scale just keeps going down, congrats to ya! Man,send it too me,mine's a big P.I.T.A;-)!!! It is confusing, why won't the scale budge but yet I continue to lose inches every month? Oh well,Ive gotten to where I just don't care anymore,no use pulling what little hair I have out about it,lol! . your BF% looks great, Good going girl...And OMG about the neighbors with thier snow mobiles at 2am:eek::eek::eek:! Yep,I think I would of wanted to call the cops as well! I hope you get a nap in today!

well,Ive got laundry, vacuming and two kids wanting...something(rolls eyes)and a DH "laying down" with a stomach ache, its amazing how quickly he becomes ill these days.Talk to you guys later!

Hi everyone!

What a freezing day we're having here! Trying to get a few errands out of the way this morning before the yucky sleet moves into the area. I just completed Low Impact Step and feel great from it. It's a good workout for me:)

Belinda, have a blast visiting the castle today, sounds like so much fun.

Amelia, I think you should focus on the inches lost and the fact that you are much healthier now than in your teens, despite the lower number on the scale back then. I'm sure you will continue to lose with everything you are doing, just maybe need to bust through a plataeu (sp?). I wish I had some better advice on how to do that!! You are doing an excellent job though.

Lori, ugh, sorry to hear you had such a tough night!! I hope that your little guy gets to feeling better. Is it teething? Also, sorry about your annoying neighbors, man I hate rude people like that! Hope you are able to get some rest and a run in today.

Okay, off to have a snack with my DD. She is so cute, she was playing Dora on the computer while I was doing my step workout. She looks at the t.v. and says "mommy, are you as strong as those ladies?" I laughed and said, not yet!! One day;)

Have a good weekend.
Stacey

Hi Girls,

Just finished a 6 mile run and now I am going to do abs and a stretch. Thats enough for the night I pulled!

Amelia** Men are weird like that! LOL DH was complaining the other day about how crazy my schedule was and that he hated me working shift work. He was complaining about how much crazier his life is...it is a bit more on his plate, but its only 5 DAYS A MONTH!! Not a WEEK and MONTH..that he as to pick DS up and make DD's lunch. Imagine if it were everyday, then what would he do?

Stacey** My DD use to watch Cathe all the time as well. She made her remarks over the yrs as well but I can't remember what they were! They are very cute when they are younger, its when they get older and think they know everything, thats when they stop being cute;)

HR is down, must do some abs!
Lori:)

Hi, everyone! Happy Saturday! We have snow too.
Too bad to run outside. I did StepWorks today; just right. Will weigh in a little bit later.

Lori - heh, heh- yeah, true confessions. It was a horrible surprise. My measurements weren't so bad... I guess the Cathe muscles have changed the equation a bit. Oh well. WOW at the 116 - probably as low as you dare go, but you look great! Sorry about the PITA neighbors last night. I'd be pretty mad too.

Amelia, yes, you have made so much progress in inches. That's such good news. If I have good success on this program I'll PM you and see if it's something that might be right for you. Meanwhile, one thing this program suggests for breaking a plateau is for one day only to have just apples - from lunch one day until right before lunch the next day - and for that day only, don't drink the great quantities we normally do. I haven't tried it (yet, at least) but it might help break through that possible water retention and psychological barrier to give you a "Kick start". Just a thought.

Belinda, glad you had fun yesterday!!! Have fun at the castle today!!! xoxoxo! I'm missing you. Ah, the memories.

Stacy, have fun with that DD. Little girls are just the best! Love my little grandbaby.

Have a great day, everyone!

Hi everyone. We spent the morning at the mall. DH needed some new dress shoes but we also got some other stuff. We had lunch at a Mexican place there. I just had a low fat veggie burrito which I had less than half of, so not too bad for eating at the mall. Even though I didn't eat much I'm waiting for it to settle in my stomach a little better because I'd like to go jogging later when Ewan naps. It snowed here yesterday but today it's a little warmer so it's already melted off. DH is jogging now so he'll come back and tell me how cold and/or muddy it is on the trail.

I am actually super-sore from yesterday's yoga. I feel it all in my quads, hamstrings, glutes, and even the front of my hips, which is kind of odd--I don't think I've ever been sore there before. I'm about as sore as I could be after doing a B&G premix or something. Or maybe not quite that sore. I still think I'll be able to jog at least.

Belinda, have fun at the castle--from what I remember about touring European castles, you might get a decent workout just walking around it and up and down stairs.

Amelia, I have the same thing with losing inches and not pounds. Well, I haven't been measuring the inches consistently but at least my clothing sizes have gone down in spite of not losing much weight in the last few months. I lost 25 lbs pretty well and then just stalled out. I don't know if now that I'm able to start cardio again if it will help me kickstart some weight loss or what. I still need to figure out what kind of rotation to start on Monday.

Lori, great job on that run--at least you don't have to exercise for me now! Ugh, I hate inconsiderate neighbors. How annoying. I hope your DS gives you a little rest today!

Stacey, my kids are pretty funny when I'm working out, too. My 5-year old likes to make little tiny dumbbells or barbells with tinkertoys. Then he and his brother go around lifting them and the 2-year old says "I essercizing" in his funny little way.

Cheryl, is StepWorks one of Cathe's older workouts? I have both Classics and Cardio Hits but haven't done all the workouts on them yet. Maybe I should try them now that I'm back to doing cardio again.

Hello to everyone who stops by later. I'm going to go get some laundry done before Ewan naps and I go jogging.

Lainie, Step Works is on the Classics, I think. I love it as a fun intermediate workout. Glad you're feeling better, and I hope you get in that jog.

Laundry finished - DS and friend back from basketball - we can VEG. Hurray!

Have a great night, everyone!

Cheryl

I just got back from jogging for an hour. I downloaded Cardio Coach volume 1 earlier and used that for the first time. I had it all out of order on my iPod, though, which was a bit confusing, but I made it through o.k. I was also out there a little longer than the workout lasted because I didn't turn around at the halfway point. It's meant to be used on treadmills or ellipticals or other equipment; I was just adapting it to an outdoor jog. Glorious weather for it--crisp and cold but not too cold, enough wintry sunshine and not too much wind.
