Did pretty well yesterday eatingwise. Had to use 1 FP cuz I was hungry last nite. I'm ok with that. Still have 15 FP for the week and probably won't use them all.

Did Cardio Coach 6 (Candace) this morning. I really like this one. Really makes me sweat bullets. I earned 4-5 AP's with that one.

Plan on eating my 20 plus 4 AP's today. Hopefully I can stick to that.

Have a good one!!!

Good Morning all! Woke up to the Blue Angels flying over my house this morning. We live under their practice air space. It's fun when family comes to visit, otherwise, it's pretty old after 7 years!

Yesterday was a total bomb! Not only did I not exercise, I couldn't get enough to eat!!! I haven't even had the courage to count the points yet!

Still coughing, but the pounding headache of yesterday is gone, thankfully! I actually have energy today, so I may do something light. We'll see.

Good morning, ladies!

Woke up feeling MUCH better today (I didn't take any medicine last night, so I didn't have that yucky groggy feeling), though I have no voice, so I sound worse than I feel.

I'm still going to take it easy today, but I am probably going to attempt a light workout tomorrow--maybe half an hour of walking on the treadmill or on the elliptical at low resistance. I just want to get moving again so I'm not jumping in headfirst on Sat when I do my last run before my half (am going to do 4-5 miles at most).

Anyway, as always when I'm sick, I lost a little (about a pound), and although normally that would make me happy, it's got me a little disappointed too, because that means I probably lost muscle mass :(. Can't wait to get back into the GS rotation I had JUST started when I got sick. Alas, that won't be for another two and a half weeks, after I come back from Maui. I'll have to bring along a resistance tube or something and do pushups/crunches do do some sort of strength work.

Jennifer

Yea!!! I just got done with a light cardio (Basic Step...Thanks Traci!) and it's VERY basic!!! LOL, but it's just what I needed after not feeling good yesterday. What's even better, I also finished MIS upper body, too!

Oh, I forget to tell you all, while on vacation, DH and I went into a home fitness store and they had weight racks on sale. I got an 8 pair dumb bell rack (vertical for space reasons) on close-out and shipped from Chicago to Pensacola for only $190!!!! It arrived yesterday and I put it together after my session with Cathe today (that was also a work out itself!). One thing I always have to consider is if it's going to be something the cats will knock over, well, that's not possible with this thing! Even without the weights, I was having a little difficulty with moving into place where I want it, then with my weights on it? Nah!!!

WI is tomorrow and I already know I will be up, but as long as I am working with a program and trying to make changes, I am okay with it (plus being back from vacation).

Hi everyone,
I think I'm finally starting to get over the blahs in my exercise routine. I got up and did S&H Tris & Bis today. I went a little lower on the weights, but really focused on my muscles and form. My arms felt like rubber afterwards. It was cool.

Eating has been fair to good today. I need to go to the store bad - I am basically out of veggies and with no veggies, I have trouble staying OP. There is a grocery store with a great salad and soup bar just 1/2 mile from work, so I walked there at lunch and got a salad. I topped it with those crabmeat pouches they sell now. I think they're 2 pts. I ended it with some fruit from the salad bar (berries, yummm). Supper is chicken yakatori - not sure exactly what that is, but I know it's 5 pts not counting the rice.

I'm so glad you're feeling better, Amy & Jennifer, it sucks being sick.

Teddygirl - rest up if you need it. We're supposed to actually take a week off every once in a while. I must admit it's hard to do.

Traci - ouch - I hope it's not PF. I hope it's just a sore muscle. Rub you foot over a tennis ball to massage that muscle, it really does help.

Feeling only slightly less stressed. I'm going to check in on the Pushup challenge - today's my goal day and I need to report.

Happy Wednesday!

Claude

Well, finally got the courage to count yesterday's points (we're talking obscene here!!!) Thankfully, they were all FPs as I hadn't used any of them yet this week. I actually was going to try and not use any FP's this week and only AP's. I really didn't want to count the points, either, but knew I had to in order to track myself properly and figure out what combination of AP/FP works for me. Oh, Well!!
