Weight Watchers Checkin - Tues. 9/5

Whew! Made it through the long weekend with 17 FP left. Incredible. I went to the fair yesterday which I was kind of dreading because of all of the food. But I stuck to my plan and shared the "bad stuff" with DH and my friends. I didn't do too bad.

Workout today will be L&G and KPC abs. I will also try and get to a yoga class tonite.

Planning on staying at 22 pts. today. I'm hoping to see the scale move downward this week now that TTOM is over.

Have an OP day to all who follow.

Buffy

Good morning, Buffy and all that follow.

Buffy: GREAT JOB at the fair!!! WOW, now that is impressive!!! You can be very proud of yourself.

I did good this weekend, too, I bartended at our bar and we were very busy on Sunday night so no time to eat the greasy stuff, which is one of my downfalls. ;-) I got in exercise everyday even if it was just a 30 minute walk.

Today is the first day of school and my DS was up at 2:30am and NO CHANCE of going back to sleep, way too excited!!!! Well, needless to say that meant I couldn't get to sleep again either. But, it's now a little after 5am and ....whew...we can finally get up. I hope his enthusiasm for school stays for the rest of his school years.

Have a great OP day!
Marcia.

Buffy: Way to Go!!!!! You should be giving that ole HIGH 5 to yourself!

Marcia, I'm with Traci, I love bar food (not to mention bar drinks). Good job keeping away.

Traci, You got some good workouts in. Way to go. I'm also doing cardio less often but trying to go longer. I'm doing 2 days alternating upper and lower, 1 circuit (I'm liking the BC/ME combo plus added 1/2 hour cardio) and 3 days pure cardio 60-75 minutes.

Feeling good today. Tried on a pair of pants I bought 10 days ago and they are a bit loose. I think I should have bought the 4's instead of the 6's. Oh well, most of the pants in my closets are ok fitting or tight 4's (some 2's but I won't go there). Hopefully soon they will all be well fitting 4's.

Good day to all.

Buffy

OK - running late, not much time and haven't even had time to read everyone else's posts. Sorry!!!

Weekend was good and bad. Didn't track points, gained .5 lbs, worked out almost every day, got lots done in the house (not sure if that's good or bad, but I'm glad it's done).

Today was PowerMax. I've only done that workout twice, I think I like it. But the third step combo confuses me. I guess I'll need to do it more oftern.

Eating yeasterday - let's not discuss it. We saw a movie ("Step Up"), and I had popcorn. DH made a nacho dip last night for supper adn he NEVER cooks so I wasn't about to complain.

Today - so far so good. I'm all set for bkft, lunch and snacks. Dinner is the only open item and it has to be low points and fast because DD starts dance tonight and I'll be pressed for time.

I hope every one else had a great weekend and stayed OP. I'll try to get back to my regular checkins at some point this week - it's just nuts here!!!!!!

Good morning, ladies!

I am so impressed with everyone's willpower here, sticking to your points and rejecting tempting foods! This is why I like hanging out with you guys--you're a good influence on me :).

The cold is improving, though not soon enough for me. The coughing phase has now begun and I now have no voice, so this'll be be fun. I'm really hoping I'll be back to 90% by the end of the week so I can attempt something active. We'll see!

Buffy-
I just started this rotation so lets keep posting as to how we like it and what results we're getting....
Size 4 ???? O my my my my my Trying to get out of a 10 is like pulling aligator teeth! My 6's are still in the drawer labeled... SOON!

Good Morning everyone.....wait, yeah, it's still morning.

I literally crashed last night and went to bed around 8pm, next thing I knew, it's 10:55 today!!! Oh, and still coughing. Sigh!

I haven't decided what today's cardio will be, but it will jump out at me this afternoon. It always does!

Great job on the points, Marica! I can't believe that school is just starting for some. School has been going strong here for a month!

Glad to have you back, Traci, again, I am in awe of the workouts you do!

Jennifer, I hope that you get back to 100% soon!

Buffy- hope you have a good day, keep up the good work!

Claude-
No worries! Sounds like you just dug in to some of your flexies this weekend... could be good for you! Touch base when you can we all understand crazy busy around here!

Jennifer-
As horrid as being sick is remember that if you rarely get sick it very well could be your bodies way of saying "Lets take a rest week!".....
I wonder how many of us actually take intentional 4-7 days off of working out after a grueling 4-6 week rotation???

Amy.... Didnt catch in the other posts that you were sick too! Oh my ladies.... PLEASE rest a bit and read my post to Jennifer, may apply to you as well.
BTW: Dont be in awe of my workouts.... I have the time and I don't eat right 3 days a week.... still trying to get past the workout to make up for being naughty syndrome... plus my hormones stay in tact better when I work out hard.
Glad you're back too!

Traci,

yeah, I don't have too much to lose. My goal is to fit comfortably into my clothes. Probably 5 or 6 pounds will do it. But, let me tell you those 5 or 6 pounds are like glue to me. In my 20's and 30's I could lose 5 pounds in a week. Ahhhh, the good old days. I'm committed to this WW/Cathe combination. Still convinced it will do the job. It is slow going though.

I'm going to do workout combo I described for the entire month of Sept. so I'll keep you updated.

Buffy

Hello Everyone,

It's true, everyone is so committed, you all are an inspiration. Weekend was okay, and my first day of work went really well! Very excited to start a new project!

I'm doing KPC&LG circuit tonight. I'm really excited to exercise because my bf is starting to exercise with me! He wants to lose a few pounds, so he thought the best way to do it is to start exercising. I have an elleptical trainer, so while I'm exercising, he will be on it and then doing a weight w/o which I made for him (with the help of Cathe). He also said his goal is to actually do a Cathe dvd with me, lol (not a step one, prolly BC or KPC). So I'm excited for that!

Well off to eat supper, which is a beef brocolli stir-fry! It's very yummy. Have a great evening everyone!

Corinne :)
