Thought I'd start us off this morning. Traci is at the bay and Amy is head honcho at work... probably cracking some heads....LOL...

Amy - I hope your night was uneventful.

Cheryl - I broke those workouts up, the GS's in the morning and CF last evening. I felt thoroughly worked out at the end of the day though!!

Ate clean yesterday and hoping for a good day today.

I ordered the Tosca Reno book but it hasn't come yet. I also ordered another book of her's which I got yesterday. "How to build a non-cellulite and fat-free butt in 9 weeks".... Hmmm... we'll see.

Thanks for getting us up and running, Jane!!!

Yes, I was the head honcho at work, NO, I didn't crack any heads....except mine as it fell onto the desk from falling asleep from being bored!!! Just kidding!!! I was very happy that it was VERY uneventful and that I didn't have to do any of the special paperwork because I don't have to codes to get into the cupboards and the computer programs! Oh, Darn!!!;-)

Jane- I went looking for the Butt Book and may just order it from Amazon since I can't find it anywhere else. I heard that it's a lot of the same clean eating teachings, but I want it for the recipes in it. I hope yours comes soon and that it's what you are looking for!!

Well, I am off to bed, I hope that you all have a great day!!!

Good Morning Ladies,

Sounds like you two are in a pretty good mood. I am now b/c I got to go back to sleep for almost 3 hours which will make a big difference to my day. The baby woke up at 3 and then again at 7. SO when he finished eating I passed him over to DH and said "he is all yours" then I rolled over and went back to sleep.
I was trying to find some info last night on breasfeeding and weight loss but any sites I found talked about not dieting while breastfeeding. I am smart enough to know that I shouldn't restrict my cals to much but there must be a way to drop some pounds while breastfeeding. I keep reading that the weight will "fall off" but I got a feeling Im gonna get the short end of the stick here!
Anyway, enough whining right?:) Im not sure what I will do today. It is 1:30 here and I have visitors coming at 2. I would like to work out while the baby is sleeping but I just ate. And if I wait to long then he will be ready to eat again. I hate not having a schedule.

Lori:)

Hi all....I am having the lazies today. I do not know if I will work out, I did not go to church, I just feel lazy. I am going to get going on laundry here in a minute.

I have been really craving a Firm workout lately, something to just have fun at. I may do one later.

Amy, does it bug you that people ask you alot of medical questions?? I have been pondering asking you this question for a few days, and I am going to take the plunge. I hope you do not mind.....You know last week I had the flu, so I did not do any exercise for 5 days. My elbow, if I lay my hand flat on the desk in front of me, the top of my arm that is pointing up, every time I reach for something, it really hurts. There has to be a tendon or something in there that is bothered. It feels hot sometimes. I have been taking Aleve, and it seems to help. I just don't understand why it is flaring up, especially when I had some exercise days off??? It just came out of the blue?? Some days it is very painful, and others, only a little. Thank You.

I am sure I will check in later. I hope everyone has a good day.
Lori

Lori (gidget) - in the new WW material, you get an additional 12 points for breastfeeding in addition to the other points you are allowed.

Hi, everyone!

Jane, thanks for starting us off! I am tempted to order the Tosca Reno Butt Book too. In fact I tried, but the source on Amazon I ordered from didn't come through. Hmmm. I may try again. We'll see. I really like the Eat Clean book. It's my current favorite and I'm loving her recipes.

Amy, glad you made it through work as head Mother Honcho (well, close to that!) Hope you get some good time today.

Lori Gidget, 12 extra points for nursing??? Wow!!! That's some calories. I'm glad the baby let you get that 3 hours additional sleep.

LoriSax, everyone needs a lazy Sunday now and then. It may be just what the doctor ordered. If I were you I'd maybe take the day completely off today, unless the extra rest has you feeling surprisingly better later on in the day.

What to do for today's workout... hmm... I'm done with the Cathe Feb rotation so these next 4 days are my picks. BodyMax 2 Boot Camp is beckoning... but I'm leaning towards Push/Pull followed by a 45 min TM run. Maybe I'll do that and then the BM2 premix on Tuesday (tomorrow is PowerMax - the YaYa cardio party pick for the week).

Have a wonderful Sunday, everyone! I'll check back in later -
Cheryl

Good morning ladies,
Thank you so much for the warm welcome.
Yesterday my eating wasn't so good. I went with my DH to Carlsbad Cavern in NM. By the time we got there it was already lunch. I had a soy bar and a banana for lunch. For dinner I had grilled shrimps with rice, veg. and beans we ate at Chili's. Which I don't think was WW. Than to top that off I had chips and salsa. I was starving! So my day wasn't very clean yesterday. Today I have to eat clean!!!
Lori, when I was breastfeeding my son 18 years ago I joined a breastfeeding group called La Leche League ( 1800- Laleche). They helped me alot. Hope this helps.

Hope everbody have a great day! Belinda

Jane, I know before when I was 130 lbs I was aloud 18 -20 points. Do you have any idea how many points I am aloud to have now being 148 lbs? I thought about it today and I think I am going to do the BFL program. I will get lots of carbs and protein which I need, and my workouts will be short so there shouldn't be a problem doing them. I should be able to get DH to bring my treadmill home today so I could start my workouts tomorrow. And I am going to run to the grocery store to get the things I need. Then I can make sandwiches and salads and have them ready in the fridge for quick access.

Cheryl, I don't think i would have made it through the day without that extra nap. I was a little pissed at DH to b/c he went to sleep at 12 and I stayed up with the baby but he made up for it today when I went back to sleep and he took the baby. He would have taken the baby last night if I had asked him to but I didn't so I can't really complain about that can I?

Lori:)

Hi again, everyone!

Belinda, sounds like yesterday didn't go too bad, even with Chili's considered. I can't resist their chips and salsa either x( So yummy.

Push/Pull was great! Matched Cathe on all but the 25 lbs for one arm pull ups - even did most of the pike push ups (whew) and then did speed intervals on the TM, 9 intervals, 8 of them at 8.1/1.5% incline with one minute recovery between each. Felt great! I'll try to push the intervals back up to 10.0 next time, which is the best I've been able to hit this Fall/Winter so far.

Saw a notice go out for our first race registrations this year. Got me excited. A 10K, 10 mile and 1/2 marathon happening in May, July and August. I'm going to do 2 1/2's in August this year. May weaken and do the St. George Marathon in Oct... although I am getting so much out of my cross training this year I don't want to focus my training so much on a full marathon for speed...

Going to finish up here with Stretch Max 2. Haven't done that in awhile.

Have a great afternoon, everyone!!
Cheryl

Hey, all, just a quick check in....we're super busy tonight for some reason. I am glad, though that all the crazies waited until tonight to get sick and come through the ER to us!!!LOL!

Lori- I don't know what to tell you about your arm. No, I don't mind the medical questions, but as my work is and has been all inpatient, I don't know much about outpatients questions (like the stuff you ask your physician), but I will definitely pass your quandry onto my DH. He functioned as a P.A. in the Navy for 15 years and he saw all sorts of question and such like this!

Cheryl- Congrats on matching Cathe on Push/Pull!!! I don't have that workout...it's next on my Wish List!!! I want to extend a very special invitation to you, Cheryl. We have a special event coming up called the Double Bridge Run. It's a 15K that goes from Pensacola to Pensacola Beach and goes over the 2 bridges that you have to go over to get to the beach (hence the name!!!). I have to say, though, that it's been rather chilly here (in the 40-50's), so you'll have to dress warm for the run!!!;-) }( ;-) }(

Okay, no time for further personals. I will check in in the morning though!!!

Hmmmm, the Pensacola run?? Sounds tempting! When is it?

I can't sleep.... I'll explain in a few hours, but there's a high chance of my largest client breaking a big piece of news in a couple of hours... could be good or bad, but the nervousness of it all is keeping me wide awake. Oooooh, the agony! Should break at 5 a.m. if it's going to happen...

Push/Pull is fun for variety because it's a whole body workout in just 45 minutes, so it's basically one long set per exercise, which makes it easier to go all out on maximum possible weight. The 45 min. length also leaves enough time for a cardio stint. It comes paired with Supersets which is also a fun one, but of those two I turn to Push/Pull the most.

The PowerMax cardio party starts in a couple of hours - any takers?

One bit of good news - weight was 126.6 Sun a.m. - down a tad - and with the SparkPeople stats I can see what it took to go down 1.2 pounds in a week. Measurements are down a bit more as well - waist is now 25.5 - and bust and hips are down an inch apiece for the month of January even though I'll have only lost a couple of pounds this month on the scale. Yippee!!

Traci, are you awake yet, my friend??? I hope the Bay weekend was fun and that you're ready to tear it up for another Monday :)

Gooood morning all you normal a.m. risers - and I'll check back in later on.
