Weight Watchers Check In, Sept. 1

Good morning,

Last night I did SJP and am still feeling that one. I slept good, though. ;-)

Today, is probably either a nice long run or maybe Step Blast. It all depends on the weather and what that does.

Good Morning!!!

This morning I think I'll do Lowmax. I need to earn some AP's for a barbeque tonite. I'm going to make a huge salad to bring so at least I can try eat something healthy.

I'm really feeling yesterday's PUB in my chest, biceps and triceps. I had been doing primarily circuit workouts but decided this week to do less cardio and more heavy lifing. I'm going to keep that up for the month of Sept. and see how my body reacts.

Long weekends can be death to a diet, but I'm really going to try and stay OP.

Buffy: I agree holiday weekends can be challenging! I am working up a plan as soon as I finish posting as we will be at the bay until Tuesday morning....

Working out will be a key for me as its so easy to blow off when I'm away and the heat/humidity is still too high to be in the great outdoors except on a boat of course! ;-)

WI today was up .4. I'm very fine w/ that because of doing SH series this week.... I feel so darned buff! (all in my head as no-one has said anything even tho I'm wearing little strap tops! hahaha)

Today was suppose to be PLB and SH Biceps... Will scratch PLB and put on tomorrows calendar as my legs are screaming from the SHAPE it UP Circuit from Slim Series I did yesterday. I gotta say I wish that I didnt find Slim Series so blah blah boring because they really are killer workouts (unlike Slim in 6 imo)...

Here's my weekend workout plan for accountability!

Friday: SH Biceps + Front Yard Max
Saturday: PLB + Step Only from BodyMax
Sunday: Abs from SH series (Planks & Lower Ab focus) + StretchMax
Monday: Kathy Smith Lower Body Firming + PS & MM Shoulders & Tri
Tuesday: AM coming home and afternoon LowMax

TGIF………

This morning, I did Low Max again :p :p I am loving this workout. Last night, when I got home I was a little stressed so I decided that I'd walk to clear my head and too relax, walked 1 1/2 :eek: ;)

Guess what, I found Hardcore Extreme I forgot I had this DVD. So, after I got situated for the evening I view Imax 3 w/KM blast & legs. I’m laying in my bed going huh, huh, what a workout. Imax 3 was on my rotation for tomorrow but I THINK I'm going to change it up a bit and do HC #3. That’s a toughie :9

Good morning, ladies!!

Woohoo, it's Friday!!

No AP for me today--it's my "day off," per my TnT training calendar. I'm still really sore, though, from my GS workouts earlier this week, so I think I will do a short yoga tape to stretch out my aching muscles.

I'm really looking forward to the 3-day weekend. After a very stressful week, I need some relaxation, baby! I do have to lead a buddy run tomorrow, but I'm planning to take it a little easy and do 4 or 5 miles, as opposed to the 6-8 miles the calendar says to do. After the 10-miler last weekend, I want to be in recovery mode this weekend! Also, with my half-marathon 2 weeks away (gulp!), I want to be in full-fledged taper.

Anyhoo...

Hello!

Happy September everyone. My goals for this September are to:
:) Exercise 5-6 times per week
:) Not let the stress of working make me eat fatty foods (ummm, cookies, lol)
:) And to stay OP, if i bite it, i'll right it.

These are my three goals this September to master!

Workout today is KPC! Love that WO!

Buffy - Long weekends are hard, but with a plan, it will work out great.

Traci - I'm sure you are look buffing with all the WO you've been doing!

Talking about weights, which WO are better, PUB/PUL or the gym style series. I'm looking to get into more weights once I will be hitting a plateau (I will do circuits until it doesn't work for me anymore). So just wondering if anyone has any input on that, thanks!

Everyone else, keep up the great work, and like Marcia said, stay focused!

Good Morning ladies!
I received a loverly package on my doorstep this morning!!! Thank you, Easter Bunny!!!! You know who you are!

Corinne- I have PUB/PLB and I love them. They make you feel like She-Ra when you are done, although a wobbly one for a while! I am saving up for the GS series next, though.

I hope that everyone has a good and safe weekend. This board is usually pretty quiet on the weekends. I head back to work tonight, so I think that I will head back to bed now.

Looks like some awsome workouts are planned!!!

I just finished segments 1-4 of Lowmax and cardio coach #3. Also did sement 1 of coremax. It took me 2 hours and I earned 8 AP's. Yippeee!!! Just finishing lunch and I still have 20 points for the rest of the day.

Amy, thanks for the info on PUB/PUL, it looks like an awesome WO. I can't buy anything right now, but I like to research Cathe's DVDs, so when I'm ready, I know what to buy, hehe :p.

Well, I just found out I am going to watch my first CFL football game tonight, and then after, going to an amusement park which will be opened until 5am!!! Should be fun, I told my bf that I am eating supper at home, so I'll make sure I have a few extra points to maybe get a little treat. I love popcorn, but all the butter in it;( , but I'll see. Thank goodness I did KPC, atleast have a few APs.

Absolutely not!!! I cannot ever, nor do I think I ever will be able to do levitation holds. For one thing, my arms are kind of on the short side. Jacket sleeves are always too long. Also, I just don't think I have the upper body strength. But, I try and I'm ok with that.

Hi Ladies,

Happy September. I can't believe it is here already.

I am very frustrated with myself. I am having trouble commiting to the program. In my head I know what to do, but for some reason I fall apart every day. I start out each month with the goal of losing 5lbs. and each month I fail. I feel like a big fat loser. x( But the problem is me and no one or nothing else. I like to exercise but I don't eat right.

I am tired today and am having a lot of trouble motivating myself to workout. :-( But if I do it will either be step, legs and glutes, pub and core or some combo of the above. I have missed my arm workout and leg workout this week.

My goals for this month are to:
1. follow a rotation, I am working on a fat loss rotation going into wk 2. ;-)
2. drink more water, I have not been doing that lately.;)
3. Cut back on take out and portions and snacks and food in general. Maybe if I stop chewing I will lose some of this flab. }(
4. and as Kern said if I bite it, I shall write it. :+ I am seem to fail at journaling.

Well I need to stop feeling sorry for myself and brush myself off. Try, try again is all I can do. Eventually it will work. I hope.

Sorry for being a downer. I am just frustrated!!x(

Once again, I'm late checking in. Overall looks like everyone has great weekend plans.

Jenn - hang in there. You CAN do this. When you get tempted to give in, remind yourself of the times when you suceeded in resisting the temptation. You've done it before, you can do it again. We're all here for you!

Today was a simple 45 min power walk. I woke up to back spasms so I delayed my workout until late this afternoon. My back still feels a bit off. I'll have to ice it tonight before bed.

I am going to finish painting that infernal hallway this weekend. All I got done before vacation was the trim in the upstairs section. I need to do the trim going down the stairs and in the downstairs hallway too. Then I have to paint the ceilings and walls. I hope to have it finished by Monday night. I'm sick of looking at the patched up walls.
