Cathlete
Hi all. thought I'd start the check in nice and early. I am new to this check in. ( I wrote in with frustration a few nights ago, needing help )
Well I have gotten back to Cathe after two weeks of inactivity but my eating still needs some work to get back to normal.I have 5 pounds to get off my body. Weigh in tomorrow am. HOpe you don't mind I am starting this, I am always on the computer early before I go to work.

Nancy S.:)

Good morning, Nancy and all who follow. Good job in getting back on track. Good luck with the weigh in.

Had my WI this morning. Down .2 lbs. I'm actually happy about that since I didn't stay OP over last weekend because I was on vacation. I also just finished TTOM so that could account for the loss.

Not much time today. I have an early meeting. Going to do Cardio Coach #3 and that's about all the time I have. Exercise has been off this week. I'll get back on track tomorrow.

Have a great OP day.

Buffy

Welcome, Nancy!!! Don't mind in the least that you started us out this morning! It's whoever is up the earliest! Congratulations on getting back on track! I don't remember you writing in a few days ago, maybe I just missed it, sorry!

Buffy- Congratulations on the WI, down is down is down!!!!! My TTOM starts this weekend, so it will be interesting what the scale has to offer for my WI next week!!! I hope you have a great day and that you enjoy Coach Sean!!

My WI went great, down 2.5 lbs (that's from the recorded weight from 2 weeks ago)! I didn't go last week and didn't WI, but since my scale at home is running true with the WW scale, it means that I was actually up 4 lbs last week, so that would make the total -6.5 lbs? Like I said, last week there was no "official" weigh in, but I am estatic with the 2.5!!! It's looking like my eating more is working!!! Keeping the fingers crossed..........!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now, today is going to be a circuit day (I am enjoying this little rotation that's evolved), we'll see what jumps out!

Welcome Nancy! We'll help ya w/ those stubborn 5! Glad you checked-in...We're a really nice group if I do say so myself!:7

Buffy: WooHoo on the scale victory (MAJOR.2 after vacation!) I do have a favor to ask tho... would you mind sending your losses to someone else???? I found those lost .2 this morning! Thats ok- we're buddies...;)

Claude: WHERE ARE YOU???? I missed you yesterday!!!! How was Open House???

Sandra: Way GOOD you completing that tough SJP/SB Premix! :)

Amy: HOLY SMOKIN BOLOGNA!!!!!!!! 2.5 down- WooHoo!!!!!!!!! Circuits are a great plateau buster imo, and those points.... YIPPEE! Eat & Drop Weight! Oh Life is GOOD GIRL!:9

Teddygirl and all to follow: Stay in touch and keep at it!

So what are everyones goals by Thanksgiving???? I do better w/ a mini-goal in site... I'm thinking about mine today...hmmmmmmmmm

As said: Scale up .2 but its my own doing.... I ate 25 points LESS than my body needs to lose.... got all my APs in eventually but not my flexies... was a very strange week for me..... tired, not hungry, had a 6 hour bout w/ tummy yesterday for no reason.... >Just WEIRD in the old bod this week.... Looking forward to a high points day... Fridays my day! Steakhouse tonight- WOOHOO!!!!!!!!!!!:) :) :)

OOPS: Better tell ya workout plan or I'll be blowin it off for sure!

Today: Hardcore Extreme 2 (75min)+ GS Legs Floor + Jazzercise Floor & Abs (60min)

Shoot... now that I told I gotta go getter done!

Traci- I know how you feel bout the "high point" days! Thursdays after WI are mine!! Last night was major Italian. You know, the bread in olive oil, lasagna, etc! And of course a lovely Merlot to wash it down!!! It comletely finished off the TP, AP, and FP for the week!

Yes, Claude- how was the open house?

Corinne- Miss you girl, hope you're hanging in there!!!

Sandra- How's the mat thingy work for you?

D*&N, Traci- I swear, I start to sweat just looking at what you plan for a workout!!!:7

Thanksgiving goal- I tend not to do well when I set number goals. I have tried this 3-4 times and never make the goal when I want to because of a stinkin' plateau!!! So, I guess that makes my Thanksgiving goal to lose as much weight as I can before plateauing *again*(sigh). I know that sounds weird, but then my whole last year of WW has been losing 5-8 lbs, plateau, lose 5-8 lbs, plateau, lose 5-8 lbs, plateau (mind you, the plateaus range from 1-5 MONTHS)!!

Amy: How about setting the goal of doing Butts & Guts everday(once we get them)!!!! hahahahhahaahahah or better yet.... B&G + Drill Max!!!!!!WooHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi ladies!

My week has finally eased up a bit (but only a bit :)), so I thought I would check in, even if it's just a quick hello...

Unfortunately my week has not been so great :(. After two weeks of not really tracking my eating/points well, I struggled to get back to good habits this week, and discovered that the weight gain I was expecting when I came back from Maui is only now starting to manifest itself. I weighed myself last night and saw that I was up 5 pounds from my normal evening weight :(. Ironic how long it takes me just to be able to lose 5 pounds (I'm at about a pound a week rate), but in 2 weeks I can gain 5 pounds just like that.

Sigh.

I know it does no good to get discouraged or depressed about those numbers--they're just numbers, right? But even more frustrating is that my clothes are starting to get a little snug and if I don't rein things in a little bit better, this could start to snowball. I keep reminding myself that I didn't gain those 30 pounds that I worked so hard to lose overnight and that they had sort of "snuck up" on me. I don't want that to happen again this time around, so maybe that's why I get extra vigilent/concerned, even if it's a "minor" weight gain.

Anyway... just had to share. I know y'all have been there at one point or another, so I have a feeling you understand!

Jennifer

I was wondering if I could join you all.

I have been a Cathe fan for years(although I'm getting back into her workouts now after a 1.5 year break) and I've done WW once before and I'm starting back up now.

I'm a mom of two and since the youngest is three I think the baby weight excuse doesn't fly anymore ;)

I was wondering how you counted the APs for Cathe workouts? I consider any of the cardios high intensity and the weight ones moderate intensity--is that right? I wouldn't want to give myself more points than I earned.

Off to do one of the IMAXs--have a great day!
Kim

Welcome aboard kim! Our LUCKY day here... 3 new check-ins!!!:)

As far as APs.... I Count'em & I Eat'em!... I use a Polar HRM so I take 1 AP for every calorie burned (even strength training when HR is not at cardio zone)... I also eat most - all flex points. By doing so I am finally shedding weight after nearly a year at a plateau...

Hope you enjoy the group here!

HEY AMY: I gotta pick up my MIL so I wont be on for awhile this afternoon but you keep the chat going for me OK???????????

Traci- you forget that I work nights over the weekend, so actually I am supposed to be sleeping right now!;-) Don't worry, the mailman rang the doorbell and I had to check in to see what everyone was doing today before heading back to bed!

Welcome, newcomers!!! Don't mind Traci or myself, we banter like sisters! You are more than welcome to stick around if you can put up with our kookiness!!!;-)
