Weight Watchers Check-In 8/4

Happy Friday ladies!
Its 630am and I have completed Kick Max Low Impact + Firm Abs... Had insomnia and have been up since 1:30.... at least I have an early start today!
Weigh in was this morning and I am jazzed to report that I lost 2.2 #s and 1% BodyFat (Tanita Scale).... This hasnt happed for me in nearly 6 months!
I really believe its because of all your inspiration, Tips, & Accountability from this forum.... SO THANK YOU ALL {{{{{{}}}}}}}}}

Gym Mom-
So you had a high point day.... just think of it as what it is.... a day you chose to eat more because it was what you wanted at the time! You will choose differently today, and tomorrow etc.... You are a lifer if I recall so what would you tell us newbies if we were at a meeting together and we were being so hard on ourselves???
You are an amazing inspiration and part of that is because you aren't perfect... I can strive to be less than perfect! lolol
Anyway...glad you shared your frustration with yourself.

Hope everyone has a great Friday... I'll be checking in this weekend as DH is going offshore fishing all weekend...
BTW: Yesterday ate 20 points + 3 of 7 APs.

Hi ladies- the beach was great yesterday and today is the waterpark.

Golf league was cancelled due to lightning so I did Non stop step with Patrick Goudeau. But I consumed about 50pts yesterday if I calculated right. I always up my points when I'm unsure of sizes.

Yesterdays menu was as such: lf multigrain eng muff w/egg,bacon & cheese, lf choc milk. TurtleChexMix}( , string cheese, Lunch-hotdog, some fries and some nachos. Afternoon snack fudgepop and med iced coffee with milk and sugar. Dinner-salad w/steak, feta, olives,crotons and low fat dressing.

Today I did HCE Interval Circuits. Wow so much fun. But in my head all I could hear was Cathe saying modify where needed and I did. I'm not good at jumps, I am clumsy. }( !!

Morning everyone,

Thanks Traci - I know. It just really ticked me off last night that I slipped that much. Anyways, what's done is done. Today's a new day. As I always say, I know I can do it because I've already done it.

This morning was L&G followed by AllStep w/o the weights but w/abs. Have no idea what the AP's are for that. I never calculated AP's when I was losing. I also wasn't doing Cathe for most of my loss. I could barely workout for 10 min when I started. I'll have to pull out my AP calculator.

Food plan -
Breakfast - same as yesterday. 3.5 pts
Lunch - salad with chicken breast (leftover from DH and DD last night, since I didn't get to eat it), plus some fruit for dessert - 5 pts
Dinner - I pulled out a Dream Dinners meal called Greek Penne w/Chicken, Lemon & Parsley. We've had it before and it's really good. The chicken is 4 pts, I only eat 1/2 c of pasta (Barilla Plus) so that's 1.5 pts. Plus I almost always make a salad. Followed by a sweet treat, most likely some fruit - Grand total - 7-8 pts
Snacks - a fat free yogurt (1 pt), a cup of grapes (1 pt) (my favorite snack), veggies (0 pts), and I always have a little something sweet - haven't decided yet whether it'll be graham crackers (2 pts)or a french twist cookie (1pt). I'll see what I'm in the mood for.

I really am trying to cut out the sweets - I've given up chocolate (not that you could tell from yesterday :p ) but I used to have it every day. My latest substitution is graham crackers in place of WW ice cream or choc caramel bars. One step at a time, right?

I never have a problem eating all my points so I know I'll come up with at least 20 for the day.

Hope everyone had a better OP day yesterday than I did. Stay focused today - we can do it!!!!!!!!:D

Hi Ladies,
If I may, I'd like to join your check-in. I'm a WW lifetimer for 3 years now and have been doing Cathe since January of this year (although not as consistent as I'd like!). I only own Cathe IMAX and MIS and mix those up with running 4-6 miles a couple times a week.

My goal is to start back on OP today! Hopefully you I can receive the motivation I need from this check-in. Is it okay if I join you?

Here's my plan for today:

B: apple w/ 2 slices lf swiss cheese (3)
2 cups of coffee w/lf milk and splenda (2)

L: Turkey Sandwich w/ 100% grain bread (2)
2 slices of turkey (2)
lettuce, tomato, mustard, pickles (0)

D: Saving the rest of my points for a party that I'm going to
tonight, and my goal is to NOT eat anything with carbs!
Will report on this tomorrow! (????)

My point range is 20 points.

Welcome Kerry, good luck with your party tonight! Maybe try to eat smtg before your party (like a fruit with protein, or veggies) so you aren't so hungry at the party and avoid making food choices you aren't too happy with.

Jenn, your salad with feta cheese and olives sounds yummy, might have that with supper tonight!!

Gym mom, congrats on not eating chocolate everyday, that is a huge accomplishment, because chocolate is sooooooooo yummy :p. Don't worry about yesterday, everybody has those days, when I'm stressed out, I become a cookie monster :9!!!

Talking about stess, I have 2 midterms next week, so my weekend will consist of studying, studying and some more studying. Hopefully the stress of my two exams won't make me crave sweets!!! So far, so good!

This is turning into such a great group. I am in awe of people who run regularly... I ran the Houston Marathon in 99 and didnt run 1 day after that (total training burnout!)... I tried running last month and thought NO WAY give me Imax 3x a day but no running anymore lolololol

Hello everyone!

yesterday I ate 20.5 points lol not bad at all. .5 over my target.

So far today I've used up 5 points woke up late and will be out most of the day in this horrendeous heat - school shopping and stuff. So I'm taking my WW water container with me while I shop. I wonder how many people will notice the mug eh?

I've lost 1 # so I'm happy :lol:

Gym Mom- as a lifetimer sometimes I think it's harder on us because we know the program but that lil id voice tells us to do it anyway. I happens , life goes on and today's a new day right ;)

Welcome Sugar: I'm dealing with rebound weight initially 3# over my goal weight now 2# but it's always hard to reevaluate and tell yourself you need to clean it up a bit right?

Good luck to all today and I know I'll have no problem eating my points range, my problem is that night time just before bed sweet craving agh!

Yesterday at my WI I lost .6, I am pleased. I have been losing at a moderate pace, which is good for me. Slow feels sustainable to me.

Corinne-
I love feta and its only 80 cals per 1/4 cup. It also tastes awesome on a salad with dried cranberries, and walnuts and italian dressing or red wine vinegrette.

Okay how do you ladies do it? Stay so low with your points, I like veggies but not that much. I feel like by lunchtime I've exhausted most of my points. I am an eater. But really sometimes when I add up my calories I am at about 1800. If I don't eat food food I feel like I'm dying. ;( I am truly pathetic I guess I need to just keep working at it.

You ladies will have to be my inspiration!!;-) :) :7

Everyone's doing so good today! I'm at 22.5 and I'm done eating for the day. I figured out that I earned around 4 AP's so I'm still good.

Jenn - it takes time. Everyone learns to modify what they like to eat so that it fits into the program and gradually staying in your point range becomes easier. Even though I've always liked veggies, I didn't snack on them nearly as much when I first started, that came with time. Just keep working at it, you'll get there!

Hello all!!!

Last night (Thursday) was WI, and I was up #1. I am not worried about it at all because I made huge advances in weights/fitness this last week (running 5 miles-first since 1998) & increased my lat row max weight to #20. I also calculated that I earned over 50 AP's this last week, so once again, I probably didn't eat enough. I am seriously considering switching to Core to try it, but I have been doing Flex for so long, switching scares me a little. It's a comfort zone thing.

Did Muscle Max today before work, wanted to get a little kick boxing in, too, but didn't start soon enough to get it in before work.

Tomorrow may be a run day depending on the weather. If it's too horrendous, it may be an Imax2 day, we will see.
