Weight Watchers Check In- 8/31

Okay, Okay, Okay, I know that it's after midnight, and technically Thursday and I wanted to let you all know that we got home safely and soundly.

Time to get back in the saddle, so to speak!!! I haven't decided if Low Max or a High Step tape is in the works for later today. We'll see when I get up later!!

I'm not sure what I'm doing today either, I'm thinking: PUB and part of SJP. I'm hoping to get a bunch done at work today so that I can take at least part of tomorrow off for the last long weekend of the "summer" before life really kicks in and back to school is here.

I've got Slim Series Shape It Up Circuit on the plate for today + Biceps SH & MIS....
Gotta tell ya that this SH series is kickin' my muscles into some kind of crazy zone! No DOMS until 48 hours later and the each part is SCREAMING! Taking a shower last night was almost torture !!! The shoulder work in this one hits a part of shoulder that I really did not know was there and I do shoulder works 2 times a week consistently... SH series BORES me to tears but MAN do I feel like my muscles are bulging out....

Anyway: WI tomorrow- no idea what scale will say but I have had a good solid week and stayed off the food crazies since Saturday.

Claude: Whats making you look into joining gyms right now? Have you ever had a membership before? just curious...

Jennifer: Please send that coach over to my house to whip me into shape!

Good news, pants are loosen just a little, I have a pair of 4’s that I brought a few months back when I was at my lowest weight. And they had become so tight, now they are loosen just a tat bit.

For some strange reason, lately I’m waking up out of my sleep and eating, I need to nip that b/c it hindering my progress ;(

This morning, I hopped on my treadmill for an hour jog ;) :eek: I really didn’t feel like doing anything else b/c my legs were a little sore from low max, had to work that out on me treadie this morning, much better now. Tonight, I just may take the evening too rest or do GS legs. I really need to do clean max tonight lol.

Low Max, felted so good I’m going to do again tomorrow morning, I can tell already that LM is going to become one of my favorite cardio :p

I swear I'm learning to love those NSV more than WI's! Thats why I'm not overly concerned about WI tomorrow... I put on my favorite shorts yesterday that just havent fit right all year and I swera the fell right down to mid way on my hips! HOOOOOOORAYYYYYY
The scale fibs a bit but our clothes never lie!
 
Good job Teddygirl and Traci. I've noticed my clothes fitting a bit looser as well. That is sooooo much more important to me than what the scale says. My whole purpose in going on WW was so that my clothes would fit better. I'm not that unhappy with how I look but I refuse to buy all new clothes. That being said, I have also noticed that my stomach looks a wee bit flatter. Yipeee!!!

I did PUB this morning. I know I'll be sore from that tomorrow. I was a bit shakey when I had to lift my arms to blow dry my hair this morning.

My plan today is to stay at 22 pts.

I must say, reading all of your posts every morning gives me so much inspiration/motivation. It's nice being on the west coast and waking up to a fairly full thread :).

Today was supposed to be buddy run day, but I just couldn't bear to get up at 4:45, not after a rough day at work that ended very late last night. I really needed to recharge and get as much sleep as possible, so I decided to skip it (bad mentor, bad bad). The group is very self-sufficient anyway, and they know the trail, so they can do without me for one morning :).

I did pull out an oldie but a goodie: PowerMax! I haven't done PowerMax since my early days of working out with Cathe, and I've missed it so. I'm still a little groggy/sleepy, so I'll have to give myself a few more minutes to get all the cobwebs out, but then I'll be ready to sweat.

And hopefully today will be a much better day :).

Morning everyone,

Ok I should be working, but I'm trying to do a little Cathe catch up too. Today was AllStep followed by Coremax. I used a riser which increased the intensity quite a bit. I don't usually use a riser because it aggravates my knee, but I felt up to it today.

Jennifer - sometimes you just need a little extra sleep, hope it was good!

Amy - you must be glad to be back home.

Traci - I'm looking at gyms because I'm getting bored with my morning DVD's. I still love Cathe, but I feel I need a change of pace. Plus I hate walking outside when it's dark or cold which means no more walks in the evenings once the clocks get moved back. I don't own any cardio machines, no room in the house for one anyway. A gym would give me an opportunity to use a treadmill, elliptical or bike to change things up. Plus I could use the weight machines to go heavier on my lower body, which is where I need to tighten up most. I'm debating whether I need a gym that offers a lot of classes because that might really break the boredom rut too, but I only need one class to do that, not seventeen, right?

Teddygirl - way to go girlfriend!! Nothing better than fitting into your skinny jeans!:)

I hate the scale not sure when I’m going to step back on it, I know it will before my BD. But our clothes will always tell us the real deal. My closet range from 4’s not many tho to 8’s. My true size is a 6 don’t want to fall under that, I just don’t look good. I am not made up to be that small. I was born thick x(

My 8’s had become a thing of the past wayyyy too big it scare me. I really look my best in size 6 tho, even that my family, friends (some)and my x kept saying your to skinny. But, a size 4 that to too small for me.

But, its just the fact that these particular pair of pants are looser makes me feel better. Hard work does pay off. So keep up the good work guys.

Can you believe it will September 1st tomorrow, summer is over and I did not get the chance to enjoy it b/c I worked a pt job argh………

I just checked my WW book and they don't list steel cut oatmeal, just old fashioned oatmeal. (2 pts, btw). What's the difference?

I think Steel Cut is less processed and therefore takes longer to digest and I think it has higher fiber content... WW Gurus please correct me on anything I may have just dreamed up!
 
On the WW Forums they list Steel Cut Oatmeal as 1 cup = 2 pts... Would make sense if it has higher fiber.... still researching for you
 
I desperately need to grocery shop today!! I made sure that there was nothing in the fridge before leaving, so there's nothing there to eat when I got back!!! Too bad I couldn't have hired some faeries to help out while we were gone!!!

High Step Challenge was the name of the game today. I was thinking about doing Body Max, but remembered that before the really long day of yesterday on the plane, I did 45 min on the elliptical and a 1 hr step/circuit class at the gym. I really wasn't up to doing anything that intense anyway as I am still a bit groggy.

Now, I am off to shower, scrounge something to eat and then off to Victoria Secrets to spend my free gift card (also got a coupon for a free pair of panties there). Today is the last day I can use the free card (it was a birthday thing).

Hello Everyone,

I had a great vacation!! Went camping in New Hampshire, and spent most of my time on Hampton Beach, it's sooooo beautiful there! But now, I have a few vacation pounds to lose, hehe, I really enjoyed myself and didn't count points at all, and it felt great. But once I jumped on the scale, I didn't like what I saw, but I'm not gonna get down on myself(I usually always do so I'm pround of myself for not) and going to start fresh tomorrow morning! Can't wait!!!

I read over fast all the posts from the days I've missed and everyone seems to be doing great!! Great inspiration for me to get back on track, thanks guys!

I also bought today another 12 week pass for WW, I originally bought a 6 month pass, but it's sadly over now. My goal is to be a lifetime member, so I'll do whatever it takes to get there.

I start work on Tuesday!! Can't wait, but a little nervous, not quite sure what I will be exactly doing, but should be fun, I'll get to see if I really like the finance world!

I'll be back on tomorrow, have a great sleep everyone!
