Hi, Cathe. I wrote recently asking about alternating total body weight training days with interval workouts. I meant to write circuit not interval! (Sorry. I'm kind of new to all this and get a bit confused sometimes.) So is it okay to do circuit training on days following weight training days? Thank you again.
 
Hi Tiredmom! Yes, as long as you are not too sore from the weight training session you just had. Or, say you didn't do a total body training session the day before and only split (ie: bi's and tri's). You can go very light or use no weight at all when those muscles are worked during the circuit workout.

But if overall you are feeling really tight and thinking "hmmmm, do I really want to do this today?"...chances are you shouldn't be doing it. Listen to your body :)
