Weight Loss Check-In 2/17/03

Hi Everyone,
I don't have a loss to report again this week. I still at this plateau. However, I was looking at wedding pictures over the weekend (my wedding was in October) and I think I am firmer all over. So, that is inspiring. Maybe my body is just adjusting to this weight and continuing to replace fat with muscle, or something. That would be good. In any case, I am going to try to fit in some more cardio each week to keep the fat coming off and get the scale moving before my trip to Florida in 4 weeks.

How did everyone else do?

Hi Linda, I'm jealous that you are escaping to FL -- I'm hoping we get to go somewhere warm soon. Firm is good thing -- keep up the good work.

I was down 1 lb this week. It was good to take life at a slower pace this week but I need to bump those workouts back up again.

Linda I am also jealous, I wish I was going to FL, I am sick and tired of winter now especially with this blizzard we are having. Keep up your hard work, muscle is a good thing.

Sharon congratulations on your loss, glad you had a restful week.

Well for me I am up 2 pounds which is good because last week I lost four with the stomach virus, hopefully that means I lost those other two for good. I am counting my points and trying to eat healthy this week, and also journal, I didn't last week because I was still sick with the stomach virus. My workouts have been good.

Phyllis: Congrats on your loss also AND the fact that you couldn't eat with your virus makes me totally envious! I was sick for two weeks with a virus and I never missed a meal! I have NEVER, in 39 years, been sick enough to NOT be able to eat! I even ate while in labor~both times! But glad you're feeling better now! :)

I lost nothing! I was a little surprised, and I'm hoping there was no loss because of fluid. I hadn't been drinking my water as usual over the weekend, I didn't replace it with anything, I just wasn't as thirsty so I didn't get in my normal water for some reason, and my diet was a tad salty, so I'm really hoping the scale didn't budge due to fluid? But, we'll see. I'm snowed in here in my little valley. And I have to share this with you guys because only you could understand! Last night when hubby left work he called and asked were we okay for the "necessities" incase we couldn't get out today, so I tell him we're pretty okay til at least Tue or Wed and by then the snow will have stopped. So he says, "well, I'd rather be on the safe side and have everything we need." So I say, "whatever sweetheart, pick up whatever you feel is necessary." Well ladies, did my darling hubby come home with eggs, water, milk or bread? NO! He comes through the door with a Peanut Butter/Chocolate Silk Pie topped w/little peanut butter cups! Well I cracked up and said, "THIS, this is your idea of a necessity?" And he says, "HE@@ YEAH! Obviously you don't know what it's like living with you when you get a craving for something and it's not here! And I'll be d#mned if I'll be snowed in with you on the edge of a PMS trauma!"
THIS is why I love him so dearly! :)

donna, he he, my DH came home with chips.

I did not go near the scale today, PMS and feeling bloated BUT I did really well with my workouts :)

Hello everyone,

I know I have not checked in for while now but I wanted to see about getting back into the habit. I have gained the 7 pounds that I lost plus put a few extra on. I am still down 20 pounds from my original weight but up 20 pounds from my goal weight. I have been under a fair amount of stress lately and I will just blame it on that. Things are slowing down somewhat so I really want to get back to eating better and exercising more. I have not had time for any "me" time at all. Anyway, just wanted to let you know that I'm still here and congrats to all the losers!!!!!

Hi everyone,

I haven't checked in for a couple weeks . . . life got crazy, oh well.

I'm down 3 lbs since last checkin and down 3 3/4" since last month, which really has me psyched!

I only have a limited number of days I can w/o this week, so I hope to make the next three ones count.

Talk about Deja Vu (sp?)! I was just standing in my kitchen this morning while the coffee was dripping and thinking, "I wonder how Kelly is? She hasn't checked in for quite a while." And here you are! Wish I had this kind of "psychic ability" with the lottery!
