Good Morning Fellow Check-in'rs :)

Why I'm so dang chipper this am is beyond me considering I had 0 loss in pounds as well as 0 loss in inches! :(

But~today is a new day and the beginning of another week to hopefully shed some pounds! :)

My eating was up and down last week. When I had a good (clean)eating day, it was marvelous, but when I had a poor eating day, it was tragic! There was no middle of the road for me last week, it was either all or nothing, and each day was different from the day before, so I suppose I'm blessed to have maintained my weight!

But once again, I will make every effort to eat wisely and well this week and can hopefully report a loss next week.

Good luck to everyone else and remember: "Seize the day, not the doughnut!"

Donna :)

Hi All,

I also had my ups and downs last week as far as the eating goes. I had a few Hershey Treasures moments at work. In any case, I saw a .5 pound weight loss. Not too bad considering.

I will try to sieze the day, not the doughnut this week!

As a side note, I have lost 5 pounds on my current rotation, so I thought I'd post it in case anyone wants to try it out. It involves lifting for each muscle group 3x per week:

M: Circuit Max
T: Interval Max
W: Power Hour
T: Running at least 2.5 miles plus stretching
F: S&H BT
S: S&H LS and CB
S: off (yardwork, gardening, playing with dogs, etc.)

I have also been doing some easy mountain biking at night after work with my dogs for about 15 minutes per night.

Cheers!

Cruncholi

Good Morning!!! http://www.smilies-world.de/Smilies/Smilies_klein_1/shine.gif[/img]

Glad you are so chipper, Donna, and congrats to you Cruncholi on the .5# loss. :)

Since my last weigh in was Thursday I have no weight change to report. I did eat a piece of cheesecake on Friday night that I regretted doing the minute I swallowed the last forkful.....it just happened so fast! Funny, that sometimes you can inhale large numbers of fat calories in such a short span of time without even thinking...and I was wanting to plan out those kinds of foods and savour them. I just sucked it in like air....but I did write it in my journal with a higher calorie content than air of course! ;-)

Seizing the donut would have been the low cal choice in my case. ;-)

I'm back on track and feeling good.

Hey everyone! I have no weighed yet so I have nothing to report there. My clothes are tight so I know it ain't good!!!!

Donna: I'm like you in that last week either I was very good or very bad. I think part of my problem is I'm eating because I'm nervous. I have a wedding to play for Saturday and I'm uptight about it. I cannot wait until it's over.

Cruncholi: Great on the 0.5 pound. I wish I had a good place to ride my bike around here. Your evening rides sound fun!

Susan: Glad you are so UP today. Next time share that cheesecake with a friend....like me!!!!! :)

I plan on weighing next Monday and getting the bad news. I've got to get in gear and lose this fluff. Just thinking about losing weight makes me tired. I'm going to have my thyroid checked some time next week...maybe it's not working right again. I have been taking my medication but I'm just soooooo lethargic. Oh well, until next week!

I too have no loss to report, but on the flip side no gain to report either! My story in a nutshell...I started cleaning up my eating, making a food journal on January 1st, had slowly lost 9 lbs, then quickly in the last 2-3 months gained back 7 because I was sick, slacked off, etc. So two weeks ago, after a teary night I got refocused and lost 2 lbs. Last week was up and down with my eating and I started to notice that although my eating was better it wasnt great and that I was making excuses as to why it would be "okay" to eat that small piece of chocolate! Boy do those "small" pieces add up over time!! I'm taking each day as it comes as far as eating goes...the workouts have never been a problem. I'm following a quasi-diet I found at the end of Rachel McLish's book Private Parts to give me a baseline as to how to plan my meals. I've also noticed that I really havent been increasing my weight on alot of strength exercises so that is my goal this week...to increase the weight whenever I can. The 1/4 weight plates I recently purchased are sure to come in handy. I decided I'll sacrifice the number of reps for the increase in weight, something I usually dont do, and we'll see how it goes! I'm grateful for this checkin, it's always easier with some "company"! Thanks! Anyway since this post is already long I'll just post my workout week here too...

Monday...Powerstrike Millenium #1 (um, very sore the next day)

Tuesday...CIA's Power Bar Training (omitted the leg portion)

Wednesday...32 min on the recumbent bike

Thursday...Planned rest day

Friday...FIRM Super Cardio (a new tape for me, I honestly didnt think it was all that "super")

Saturday...PS CST + PS BBA

Sunday...PS LA

Good Luck to eveyone for the month of July!

:)Stacy

Hey All,

Cruncholi: congrats on the .5#, a loss is a loss in my book! :)

Susan54: I clearly understand the concept of sucking in large numbers of fat calories in the blink of an eye! A piece of cheesecake can be an absolute blur! :)

Kelly: keep your chin up~ and I'll keep my fingers crossed for both of us for next Monday's weigh in! :)

Stacy: Maintaining is always a good thing, especially when our eating is less than perfect! I am quite happy to have maintained after my week last week, it's far better than a gain! :)

Sending positive eating vibes out to everyone, hopefully everyone's week is off to a good start.

Hi! We've made it to Germany, but the diet and exercise are out the window. We're currently living in a hotel...so, its the little things that I can do now... like trying to eat well and drink water. Hope you are all well and happy!

Katie

Katie,

Welcome to Germany!!! We are doing the family reunion trip back to the States July 21-Aug.8 (estimating on those date 'cause we're going space-A), but I'm looking forward to hearing from you either before or after that. Glad you made it! --Karen
