Weight comparisons

I was wondering where everyone is on weights. Today I did Triceps and Biceps, I'm fried, boy I'm shaking by the end. I have noticed such a difference in strength and definition by adding this and the other slows weekly, I'm curious on everyone elses weights, here's what I did today :)

overhead triceps extensions - 10 lbs
lying triceps extensions - 5lbs
kickbacks-tried 5 lbs but dropped to 3 lbs :+
dips - UGH "That girl was shakin" :*
dumbbell curl - 10 lbs
hammer curl - 8 lbs
barbell curl - 15 lbs
barbell wrist curl - 15 lbs
reverse wrist curl - 3 lbs

I'm so excited that 10 lbs on my bicep curls is working, I can finally finish them all at this weight, though it is still challenging, I don't have to drop in weight, IT'S working YEAH!

Edited to add can someone explain what the difference is in using a dumbbell vs a barbell on biceps? Do they work completely different fibers in the Biceps?

I am not sure what the difference is between using barbells and dumbbells but I find the dumbbells much easier. This is what I use for tri and bic.
Overhead- 20lbs
Lying-8-10 lbs
Kick backs-5-8 lbs
DB Curls- 12-15 lbs
Hammer- 15 lbs
Barbell Curl- 25 lbs
Shame on me...but I always turn the DVD off when it gets to the wrist curls.Iam usually in a rush.

Here is what I am currently doing with Gym Style Ticeps and Biceps, Back and Chest,

overhead triceps extensions - 20 lbs/set 1, 15 lbs set 2
lying triceps extensions - 10 lbs/arm
side extensions- 10 lbs/ set one....8lbs/ set 2
kickbacks-8 lbs

dumbbell curl - 15 lbs
hammer curl - 20 lbs
concentration curls- 20 lbs
barbell curl - 35 lbs

reverse wrist curl - 8 lbs

Reverse rows- 20lb/arm
Lat rows, 20 lb
Lying Overhead barbell extensions- 25 lbs ...both sets

Bench press 20 lb/arm/ first set and some of second set then drop to 15 lbs

Flies- 15 lbs/arm

My guestimate is the barbell will give you even distribution of the weight between both arms. Single dumbell makes you use all of that arms bicep and gives you more concentration on that muscle alone. I find it harder to do concentration curls then barbell curls. My goal is to get to concentration curls with 12's and finish. I can just do them with 10's but I'm on my way up. I want that dvd with the wrist curls as I'm needing to improve my forearms. Love that muscle. One of my favs to develope.I'm not sure which dvd this is in that you were doing these weights. Was it Slow and Hard?

I always have mixed feelings when I see posts asking what weights people use. On one hand, it doesn't matter what someone else uses, if you are using a weight that is challenging and that makes the last two reps tough.

On the other hand, I like to brag.

On the third hand (!!), sometimes my competitive nature hates it when I see someone going heavier.

I can't decide where I am at today, so:

Last time I did Gym Styles, I used:
overhead triceps extensions - 25 lbs
lying triceps extensions - 8lbs (but these are tough, as my triceps already feel fried. I did them the first time with 10#, but had to "help" on too many reps. When I do the same exercise in P90X, I can use 12#)
kickbacks-7 lbs, with strict attention to form
dips - I do these with my legs straighter than Cathe and crew
dumbbell curl - 8 lbs (if you mean those 7 reps at bottom, 7 reps at top, then repeat?)
hammer curl - 12 lbs
barbell curl - 35 lbs (same as Cathe!!)
concentration curl-15 lbs both sets
dumbell wrist curl - 10 lbs
curl up, reverse down --10
