!!!!!!!!!! WEEKEND !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Susan, you can just use an over-the-counter antifungal (by athlete's foot/jock itch stuff). Miconazole or Lamisil. Apply 2-3 times daily for 10-14 days. It might take a while before it's completely gone, but it shouldn't worsen while using it...if it doesn't help let your dr know. ;)

Jen, we ate tons and tons of meatless spagetti when we were first married & "wish" sammy's (wished there was something between the bread---meatless). Perhaps you could look for a less expensive living situation? or trade vehicles in for something you could pay cash for (no payments---liability insurance)? I"m sure you've already thought of all the options. I"m trying to be helpful, but probably annoying. Sorry. *hugs**hugs* coming your way~!!

THanks so much Melanie. We are headed to Walmart now. At first we thought it was a mosquito bite she had scratched...but then it started looking wierd. I looked up ringworm and sure enough there was a picture of it and hers looked identical.
Thanks again!

susan, hope your daughter feels better!

melanie, you arent being annoying. its just a very hard situation to face when you arent used to it and with a baby on the way, i get scared sometimes. i just dont know what happened. its not like i'm a deadbeat :(

i wish i could get out of this house. i do like the home, and the mortgage is a tad cheaper than the dc one (and more for our money too!) but the hoa fee of 800 every 3mo's is killing me. Plus i foreclosed on one home and purchased this before the market got even lower for buyers so there's no way i could sell without foreclosing again, then who would give me a loan? My perfect credit is already down the toilet :( You know how it goes.

I leased a car last dec. Its a 3 year lease tho so i've got at least 2 more years to go. My husband has a cruiser now (an di would too if i werent on light duty) so we could get away with just his car. Anyone know what happenes if u get out of a lease? Is it even possible to break a car lease? Luckily the car note for me is only $212 a month which isnt too terrible, but not having to pay one would be excellent.

Not sure what happens if u get out of a lease, or if its even possible without stopping payments.

Got the Lamisil so dd is on the mend.
Im not sure about leasing a car Jen. My dh is so anal about his credit and the thought of us might having to forclose makes him sick...but ya gotta do what you gotta do..right!!!
I know the bank can get what we owe for it so we will try and just lower the price big time first. We won't make anything on it but thats life.
We plan to sell this one too when I start to school and THINK it will sell faster. Its in a better location...family neighborhood etc.
I have one more year to pay on my car. Dh's truck is getting old, but will just have to wait a few years. We usually take turns on getting new vehicles. When one is paid off the other gets a new one. Won't be happening this time! Times are tough for everyone I guess!!
Do you plan on nursing? At least food will be free for the baby for 4 or more monthsif you do.

Hi ladies! I didnt' read through all the posts, but just wanted to let you all know I am doing much better emotionally and psychologically. I am much better than I expected based on my reaction to the '02 m/c. I am sad but am focusing on my blessings.

One more thing, Kate, did you make the sugar cookie dough from scratch? If so, please share the recipe. DD and I will be making cookies, and I need a good sugar cookie dough recipe.

Take care ladies!

Susan, we dropped our mortgage $100K, put new roof, windows, paint, carpet & had it staged by a professional (furniture & accessories to help with the sale). We had all brand new Kenmore Elite appliances & a brand new dock & boat lift. We had waterfront,...and never would have thought the house wouldn't have sold. :( Very frustrating.

I"m praying that you (and Jen) don't have to go thru anything like this. On a positive note, the banks have pretty much left us alone (I thought they'd be hounding us daily).

Hi Autumn. :)

I did Triple Threat---a Netflix loaner with kimberly Spreen. I didn't really care for it. I love Netflix, you can borrow without spending the $ for it!! Anyone have any suggestions? I have a bunch in my que. ;)

I"m getting ready for Despirate Housewives....

Autumn Im glad you are feeling ok. My first m/c was devastating and I took it hard. My recent one in June I handled much better. I look at it as nature taking care of something that was not meant to be..and it was not in Gods plan right now.
Melanie-I can't believe your house didnt sell either!! Makes me want to never buy a house again! I plan to rent for a while at least while in school!

Susan, now is a great time to buy---with houses being the lowest that they've been in the last decade! It makes me a tad sad that the house that we live in (bought Aug 07) has decreased in value already. Fortunately, we're not planning on moving in near future. We love our house, we're lucky that we're not losing our house w/foreclosure. It just wasn't a good time to move. Like Jen referred, it's easy to see now (20/20 vision) it wasn't a year ago. Oh well. :) We're still blessed beyond our wildest dreams!!!

oh yeah I know its a buyers market big time right now!! We will have to sell this one and then the town that I will be in for school we don't want to buy so we'll see where we are in a few years. Im too old for this!!

Have you been accepted into school, Susan? Was it dental hygeine? I forget...sorry. How long will it be?

Graduate school is tough. My Jory was 4 years old when I started pharmacy school. I"m sad to say I missed alot of his life (which is why we waited to have more kids until I was done). I also lived 100 miles from campus, and yes I commuted everyday (4 hours/day on the road). Man, those were tough years. I'm glad they're behind me! The awesome part was I had my summers off to cuddle with my boy. I miss my summers off! Maybe someday, when I'm wealthy (ha ha) I can take the summers off again. Okay, okay, now i"m getting carried away with my dreams!!!!!
