^^^^Weekend MELTERS^^^^

Thanks for the warm Welcomes!!

I am very excited to get to know you all better. I just got back from the neighborhood pool with my two oldest and their friends. It is a nice warm day here.

I've got to get use to reading all the posts and then remembering everything so I can write personals.

Leanne - How do you like Amy's Hi/Lo Knockout, I have been comtemplating getting it. I have her Hi/Lo Xtreme and really like that. I feel for you on the BIL, I had my MIL live with us while her condo was being built and I was pregnant with our first child...it was extremely stressful and can I say definitely tested our marriage and my insanity. I am like you, I need my personal space and like to relax when I am in my own home. I give you a lot of credit for everything you are doing for your BIL, I hope he appreciates it as well and finds a job soon!!

Tneah - living on a boat for the summer sounds fun. My husband and I want to sell everything and live in a motorhome when all the kids grow up. I hope you get a chance to relax today.

Peggie - Mexican food does sound good, that is my favorite...oh nachos---hmmmm. I am sitting haveing a nice glass of wine right now. Yes today is my free day and I am fully taking advantage of it.

Shelly - I don't know how I do it some days. My husband travels a lot and I find that there are times I just want to run away and hide. I love my children and wouldn't change them for anything, but I really hope someday soon I can work partime and enjoy them more. Cathe and my Itrains/running is the only thing that keeps me sane right now. My family knows that I need by Cathe fix or else!!!

BG- I hope the conference is going well.

Well, the little ones are calling, time for dinner. I will be back soon to chat.

Thanks again for being so kind and letting me join your group. I am very excited. I wish I was able to go on the RT this year, but between the kids and my own fears of going places where I don't know anyone it just didn't happen this year. Maybe next time.

Talk to you all soon. I will post some pictures when I figure out exactly how to do it.

Linda;-)

Hey Meltees!

So I managed an hour, all by myself, even closed my eyes, no sleep, but yesss....nice, very nice.;) I even got a little color...combined with my sunless tanning stuff, I kinda have a "tan"....maybe my tan will help detract from my "squish". Gosh I hate it...is this a symptom of being 42? Belly squish? Am I doomed to repeat Mr. Trainer man's exercise and diet routine in order to have a flat arse stomach with no love handlers? Yes, I just called them 'love handlers"....ugh. Ugh again, and then one more time. Now how did I go from a nice relaxing lay in the sun to belly squish? Oh yeah, must have been the string bikini. And I believe I saw a young lovely prancing by with her mile long cellulite free thighs and long blond flowing locks...Gee I love California.

Linda, to post personal pics, you need to set up an account on either picturetrail.com or photobucket--I use this one. Then follow instructions to download to the site, then under each pic you will see a number of different links, click on the one that says "direct link" and copy then come back to your post and paste it. :) Hope that made sense, although, there must be other ways to do this, I am pretty clueless about these sorts of things!:p Shelley and Lainie bug are super duper at it though.
I am tickled to see I have another "vino" buddy! Robin, too enjoys her wine,,I don't wait for the weekends though, I have a glass (or two)whenever I feel like it now. I used to be very, very strict about my diet and stuff and am not as strict now...still eat well--uh, sometimes lately, its been too well quite frankly, but the general feeling round here is "you only live once" do it well and have fun. We all still freak about stuff like weight and bodyfat, but are trying to keep it all in perspective I hope--ha!
The gals have helped me lord knows!:) *see above--yes, I am a neurotic mess.:p Hum, maybe my wine consumption has something to do with the "love handlers?"Sigh. So much for not freaking out right?

OK kids, please check back later if you can...so sad about Tony Snow huh? Kinda puts stuff like "love handlers" in perspective.

Tneah - you have no idea how entertaining your posts are! And again, I'm pretty sure what you're calling squish is what other people would call "six pack abs". ;) Who the heck is Tony Snow?

Peggie - if there's any leftovers from your veggie tray, send 'em over here, would ya?

Linda - you have four kids and DH travels too? Eek! I'd be wanting to run and hide too!

Hey BG - which song is it exactly that you hate on the iTrains?

I did iTrain 9 today and set a PR.

Well, my SO came home tonight and informed me that he quit his job. That nervous breakdown is knockin' at my door.

Hi, everyone!
We are back from the conference. It was a nice, quick trip. I got some of my reqd. continuing ed. hours, and I got to see people with whom I used to work. Of course, we ate too much rich food, but life’s short, right? My DDs will be gone this week, so DH and I are going to do a week of the Abs Diet. I’d like to get rid of a little squish before RT.

I did iClimb 19 on an elliptical in the hotel gym yesterday – it was a SUPER nice Precor!!! I wanted to use it again this morning, but I was too pooped to get up early enough to do it before the conference started. I guess that makes today a rest day.

Robin – It sounds like you are having a lovely weekend with the art festival yesterday and the state park today!

Tneah – Your bike is adorable!!! I’m sorry your outfit didn’t fit; I got my *funky vibe* cropped pants from Nike, and they are too big in the waist. Since you are looking for hair salons in SD, you’ll appreciate this: my DDs got their hair cut at the spa in the resort we stayed in this week. They did that while we were in our conference. It looks cute – it was actually cheaper than the place we go here, but I’m not sure it’s as good a job – I’m NOT telling them that, though, because it was their idea to do it at the resort. BTW, I am also a big wine fan, but I know that it contributes to my *love handlers*. :)

Leanne – I have that “Introvert Advantage” book, too. It really helped me feel more normal about the way I feel in certain situations. I could definitely be a happy hermit. DH is an introvert, too, but not as much as I am. I’m sorry that BIL’s constant presence is taking a toll on you – I can totally understand! Did you enjoy your time with Clementine?

Peggie – Now that you are singing the KB praises, too, I feel my resistance wavering. ;) Hope you had a nice dinner.

BG – Hope your conf. is not too dull! Is it over?

Allison – I hope you are having a fabulous weekend in NYC!!!

Shelley – I wish I was a better housekeeper! Yea for your PR!!! Sorry about SO’s news – did you expect this?

Lainie – You mentioned *fried beer* in a post on Fri. – there’s an ice cream shop here that serves Shiner and Guinness flavored ice cream. It’s actually good! Yea for resisting the donuts – funny how actually knowing how bad something is for you can help you resist. If only Mexican restaurants would give the nutritional facts on chips and salsa, maybe I could avoid stuffing myself with them.

Linda – Hi and welcome! Where do you live? What do you do? Are your kids girls or boys? ITA about working out keeping us sane!

Hi, Deb & Shannon – hope you are having a great weekend!

When will Kara be back?

Talk to you all tomorrow.

Good evening everyone. Took me a while to get back. I did do my workout today—S&H Triceps & Biceps. Ouch! Tomorrow is a walk, a jog, or the cardio from 4DS HIS. I’m trying to decide on next week’s rotation—whether I should stick to Amy’s Slo-Mo workouts as planned or change my mind and do a 3-day split using the 4-Day Split series. Hmm. I am on a big Cathe kick pre-RT so I’m tempted to go with that idea.

I actually forgot about my lilies until later in the evening, so I’ll wait until tomorrow to plant them. (They look like these: http://roses.toytrains1.com/oriental_lilies.htm)

Brian got the new faucet in and it’s not leaking or anything. I like it. Looks like this:
http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g76/lainiefig/10412CP-1.jpg

I might pick something else if we’d had more time and a larger selection, but I think we did well for having to buy it in a hurry.

Who was it yesterday said they were INFP? Was it Breckie? That’s what I am, too, though sometimes I come out as INFJ—I’m very borderline on that J/P thing.

Kristi, Glad you had a nice conference and go ta good workout in while there. Yum, Shiner—wish I could get that here. Shiner Bock was my favorite beer in TX. Then in Europe I got spoiled on Dutch beer but I think I’d still like Shiner if I could get it. Not that I’m a lush or anything…. I only drink beer or wine once or twice a week, usually—generally on weekends. But I haven’t had any this weekend—since I just restarted WW I’m refraining.

Shelley, yikes, sorry to hear your SO quit his job. Was that a shocker? I thought he had kind of a cool gig going.

Tneah, yeah, Tony Snow was the first news I heard this morning, because DH had Fox News on again. Of course they wouldn’t stop talking about it. I’m sure he was a nice good guy and all, and I’m sorry to hear he died so young, but they made it like the top story of the day, I guess because he was a Fox dude. But two other sort of important people died today—Bobby Murcer (former Yankee and Yankee broadcaster) and heart doctor Michael DeBakey (http://ap.google.com/article/ALeqM5j2I0M41mZr7A9taDEgKi2aQVPyvAD91SJT080) Of course, I probably have only heard of DeBakey because I lived in Houston where he lived and was well-known. Anyway, not to lessen what you said about the sadness of Tony Snow dying, just saying Fox went on about it a bit considering other news happening. Anyway, girlfriend, I wish you were coming to the August RT so I could show you some real “squish” and tell you how lovely you are!

Linda, welcome to the Melting group. I’m Lainie, age 33, live in NY, originally from TX. I’m a stay-at-home mom with two little boys ages almost 3 and almost 6 (birthdays coming up soon). I only discovered Cathe about a year ago, wish I’d found her earlier! I’ve been working out with DVDs to varying degrees since before I got married 9 years ago (used to do mainly Tae Bo and the Buns of Steel series). My main non-kid hobbies (besides working out—and honestly, I’m one of those who certainly does not look like she enjoys working out because unfortunately I also enjoy eating) are reading and working on my blogs (one is linked in my signature). I’m also impressed that you can fit in workouts and scrapbooking with 4 kids and a full-time job. Wowzers! I will keep you in mind next time I’m feeling lazy and think I can’t fit in a workout.

Peggie, so you like Providence? That’s one I hope to get, though I’m going to try to wait until after the RT to buy it.

Breckie, logorrhea?-- funny but kind of a gross reference. :D I think I have blogorrhea sometimes when I go crazy with the blogging.

Leanne, ooh, I am in for the anti-BIL posse! Esp. if margaritas are involved. I haven’t had one of those in ages. I also haven’t had a good fight in ages—like since about 5th grade when I punched this kid in the guts for hitting a girl. (Of course the girl he hit was bigger than I was so I’m not sure why I felt it was my duty to protect her.) I do have fights in my dreams, though. I kick all kinds of heinie in the dreamworld. Yeah, I loved S&H this week, though it made me very sore (but of course sore is good).

Robin, hope you had a lovely day at the state park. The picture looked gorgeous!

See ya'll tomorrow, Marvelous Magical Mellifluous Melty Maidens!

Shelley, this might sound stupid, but it is always true, always...when one door closes another opens..sooo maybe this is a good thing? Was he terribly unhappy there? If so, than no good, he will never reach his full potential in a place he hates, I am sure he is a fabulous chef, gosh wish he would try out for Top Chef, how cool would that be? Well, maybe not,but don't stress, he wants something better and is willing to look for it right? *crossing fingers*I really do not think anyone that you would be with, would be jobless for long..
Oh, and thanks, just my own inner musings as I write, which is actually like the way I write professionally if you can call it that...I am honored to have actually entertained you darlin'. But hell, I have true squish...there is not one hint of "6-pack" happening here let me tell ya. The only long and lean place on my body is my torso--even though I am 5'7, I have short arms and legs.x( So I cannot "build" the abs, they wind up long and lean--well, when I am lean that is.;) Otherwise we got the love handlers....((hugs)) I know you are going out of your mind right now.

Lainie, lovin' that foxy faucet chica!:7 So your DH watches Fox news as well? Hum, mine has it on all the TV's 24/7!!Yep, I got me a conservative republican I do.:p So you are giving WW another whirl eh? How's it going? I have heard good things about it, at least they have that portion control deal going on, which has been my downfall lately. I have been eating like it doesn't matter this past week, not understanding why either....wacky hormones?LOL about you in the 5th grade punching another girl...that is hilarious. I never fought anyone in my life except my younger sisters when we were little, and my ex-husband...aka.."Satan"....kiss the little ones for me...I do so wish I could meet you and your lovely kids sometime, maybe next year at the RT, I could at least meet you!

Kristi, hey sweets! Sounds like you had a killer cardio workout on a great machine, don't ya love it when the machine just sort of "fits" your body? The treadmill here at my little gym is like that. I am tempted to make them an offer they cannot refuse and buy the darn thing its that enjoyable! Abs diet? What is that all about? Lauramax is on that...

I had a lovely salad with broccoli and other veggies and fat free dressing for dinner, then BAM! Just had to add croutons. I never used to do this, why in the world am I rebelling in a dietary manner all of a sudden?? Maybe cause I am more active here then in Vegas? Shoot. I am a mess...love you guys, see ya'll tomorrow!

Hi Tneah! I'm still up. Should probably go to bed soon, though. I lost weight with WW last year, then hit a plateau after my injuries. Then gained weight back--so figured I'd try it again. I do need that portion control. It's hard at the beginning to lower my portions, but then I know I'll adjust eventually. And no, I didn't punch another girl, I punched a BOY because he hit another girl. Like I was a girl who defended all other girls or something. he was not a very tough boy, though--skinny nerd with glasses type. It wasn't so much that he was a nerd as that he was a total jerk (of the 10-year old variety). And he wasn't a nerd in a smart way. Man, I think I still hate that kid. I should get over my bitterness considering I can't even remember his name.

ETA: yeah, my DH is the rather conservative type as well. It kind of goes with the aggressive successful businessman thing, though, doesn't it?

Good morning,
Just finished iClimb 8 -- ugh! I guess I'm tired b/c I felt sluggish and a little nauseated. I haven't slept very well the past 3 nights, so maybe that's it. Oh, well, we all know we have good workouts and not so good ones. I'm going to try to do GSC&T and Core Max 1 before time to get ready for church.

Lainie -- my sister lives near Shiner, so DH & I recently made a quick stop at the brewery for a sample or two (they'll actually let you have 4). It was fun! I especially love Shiner Blonde, but that's because when it came out, I pretended they did it just for me (I will pay big bucks to stay blonde as long as possible :)). I also like their seasonal (which they haven't made in a while) -- Shiner Kolsch because it reminds me of the beer I drank the summer I was in school in Germany and it had a horned frog on the label (I went to TCU). You see I choose beer for really meaningful and relevant reasons. :)

Goodmorning lovely melters! Sorry to be hit and miss this weekend, but it sure has been a nice one for me. We had a very relaxing afternoon at the park, then came home for a quick dinner of subs. We watched The Ringer last night, at the urging of a coworker. I don't know if any of you have seen it. It's about a guy who pretends to be mentally challenged to compete in the special olympics, so he can "fix" it for his gambling uncle. I was very reluctant to watch it, with a special needs son and grandson, but it was kind of cute and most of the actors were special needs individuals. I'm getting ready for church now, followed by a workout and massive housecleaning later. I only had a chance to skim the above, so please forgive me, again, for my lacking personals...

Shelley!!!!{{{HUGS and more HUGS}}} Sounds like your SO had enough of the crap they were giving him at work. What are his plans now? Hey, he could probably move in with Leanne until he decides!

Tneah, the "eagle" is just a code for a package started by Breckie and Leanne. One of these days, when I get my knitting out again, I hope to send eagles to everyone. You know, I always thought I could clean houses for a living - make your own hours, work by yourself...But then I realize what disgusting things I may find! Yuk.

Linda, welcome to Melterville. I see you live in Vermont. My mom lives in Barre. She moved into an assited living nursing home about a year ago. Are you a native? My parents moved to Vermont when my dad retired. It's beautiful, but too far away!

Leanne, the posse, followed by Mexican and drinks sounds like fun! I'm in.

Lainie, I had to laugh at none of your boys being able to feed themselves. Luckily, my DH is pretty resourceful, but his dad was useless. He couldn't even make a sandwich for himself. Good luck with WW.

BG, a conference on a Saturday? Yukko. I hope it was interesting.

Kristi, your girls are leaving again? What are they up to next week?

Oh, I'm out of time. Hi to Peggie, Shannon, Kara, Allison etc, etc. I'll try to get back later, between sweating, dusting and vacuuming.

Morning All:) Happy Sunday!:)

Well as expected DH returned excited about this boat he went to see...we shall see, not sure about how we would afford it, we would have to sell the house in Vegas and with the market being what it is? Hum. But time will tell, if its supposed to happen it will. I will leave it at that.;)

We watched the "Closer" last night, we buy the seasons instead of watching it on TV, but wow, its so addicting, I love Kyra Sedgwick and her strange mouth!:p She has such interesting looks, I like interesting, its so much better than flawless...

Robin, good mornin' love! Sounds like you had and are having a beautiful weekend. You have the best sense of humor, I love reading your posts. And thanks for the "eagle info", I hate to feel left out you know.;) Your mom lives in Wilkes Barre ( I lived there briefly years ago)...or maybe its a place in Vermont..

Kristi, I wonder what caused the upset tummy? Did you eat beforehand? I have to have something, at least a protein shake before I do a workout..hope you feel better..Try and get some rest today, a nice Sunday afternoon nap is always a good idea, hey, even God rested on Sunday right?;)

Hi to all that follow, I gotta go walk the pup, he actually woke up with me this morning and is giving me the "look".

Hey everyone -

Kristi - welcome back, glad your conference went well. I'm with you on the blond thing. I have been noticing more and more gray between highlight sessions. BARF. I have to figure out a way to take care of that between sessions. I used to have to get highlights twice a year, now it's about four times a year, and that is starting to not be enough. I don't know what to do. ICK.

Tneah - I thought The Closer looked good, but have never watched an episode. I like Kyra though. Hard to believe she's married to Kevin Bacon. Not that they don't make a cute couple.

Leanne - What's shaking today? Killed BIL yet.

Lanie - Love the new faucet. Glad the WW thing is going okay. I am trying to figure out what rotation to do this week. I think I might do the Gym Style splits and my usual cardio stuff. I definitely have to throw in a KB workout or two in there as well.

Robin - Sounds like you had a nice time. We watched the movie Superbad last night. That was really funny.

Linda - I remember it well with the little squirts. When mine were little it was pure chaos. But they are all grown up now. My daughter Corie will be a senior in college this fall, she will be 22 in October. She is majoring in Secondary Education and minoring in Art. My son Spencer is 20 and is in the Marines, my other son Thomas is 17 and will be a junior in high school and my daughter Tayler will turn 9 in August and will be a 3rd grader. The first three are from my first marriage. I think he and Tneah's ex must be related because I refer to him as Satan as well. I work full time and usually try to work out around 5 a.m. before I go to work.

Allie - Hope you're having fun.

Shelley - Oooh, big "what the hell do we do now?" What kind of job did your hubby have.

BreckGirl - What up?

Sorry if I missed anyone.

Leanne - please do a dove's workout so you can put me out of my curious misery. Please.

Good morning, ladies!

We had a blast babysitting Clementine last night, but didn't get home until almost 2:00 in the morning! The only mishap was a floating poop when I gave her a bath! Yikes! My gosh -- where in the world do 2 1/2 year olds get all that energy? Lainie, I admire how much energy you must have to keep up with the boys!

I crashed on DB and SIL's couch until they got home, but I'm sorely lacking in sleep today! Plus, we're meeting some friends for brunch later on (the guy is super nice and is one of Mike's friends, but his wife is always really snarky and mean to me -- fun, fun). Then we're doing dinner tonight with both families to celebrate an early b-day for Mike, whose b-day is actually on Tuesday. I gotta plan things out so that I don't overdo the eating today!

Today is my extra legs day, but instead of doing PLB again, I think I'll be doing B&G Leg Blast Premix. Yowza!}(

Peggie --LOL about killing BIL! I'm *this* close to it! Oops! Suppose I shouldn't admit that to an FBI person, huh?! ;-) I still have one more week of my current rotation to finish up before trying Dove! :-( I know -- I'm dying to try them, too. I was even thinking of ditching this last week so I could start the Doves early, but decided to be good and finish this week up. I'll definitely keep you posted on how they are! Glad you're liking Providence!

Kristi -- Welcome back! I'm so glad that you had fun at the conference! When do you leave for your parents' house? Wasn't that trip coming up next? Isn't that _Introvert Advantage_ book great? I should actually probably pull it out and re-skim it! What is the Abs Diet like? You know, those Nike pants seem to run big in the waist, so maybe you should keep them and, if there is one, just use the inner string to tighten them. :) I saw that you're going to share a Rover with Lorrayne and Laura on the RT -- they are both soooo sweet! They're part of the San Diego group that met for lunch awhile back.

Shelley -- Oh no about Chris! {{{HUGS}}}}! I'm so sorry that you have to deal with this on top of everything else! Does he have some savings or anything else in mind as a back-up career? Like Robin said, you could just send him my way to get him out of your hair for awhile! ;-)

Linda -- You must be so patient to have put up with your MIL living with you! Having my BIL here with us is bad enough! :) Amy B's Hi/Lo KO is soooo much fun! The music is great, and it always makes me want to keep going, even when I'm feeling really tired!

Lainie -- That new faucet is so pretty! I loved that brushed metal look. That is so cool that you punched that mean boy for hitting that girl! You rock, babe!

Tneah -- Sorry that yesterday wasn't all that relaxing! And seriously, sweetie, you do NOT have love handles or any squish at all! I'll show you some serious squish on Wednesday, OK?! :D You're probably right that you're more active now, which is why your body needs a bit more food. I hope that everything works out with the new boat situation. I'm just so sad at the thought that you might have to give up your grounded life and Cathe workouts! Like you said, though, everything happens for a reason, and I'm hopeful that things will all fall into place for you and Mitch with the boat!

Robin -- Glad you had a great day yesterday! You know, the director/writer who did _The Ringer_ (I'm forgetting his name now) actually has some family members who are mentally disabled, so he always presents handicapped individuals in a very positive way. It's the same guy who did _There's Something about Mary_, which is raunchy, but which also has a very positive portrayal of disability. Hooray for the posse! When are you all getting here? :)

Breckie -- How did the rest of the conference go yesterday? Was it at least fun? Hopefully it was since it was on a Saturday! :-( We missed you around here!

Waving "hi" to Shannon in case she stops by today, and I'm hoping that Allie is having a blast in NYC! I think Kara will still be gone for one more week . . . .

Greetings all. I stayed up until a bit after midnight last night but still got plenty of sleep. We slept until 8:45! So we didn’t make it to church (we usually leave the house at 9:15 to walk to church). I admit the alarm went off at 7 and I slapped it off but didn’t actually get out of bed. I can’t believe the boys didn’t wake us up earlier. We actually had to wake Isaac because he was still snoozing away.

I have major DOMS in my triceps today—yowza! I got some good DOMS after each S&H workout this past week. I have this weird pain just below my right knee at the top of my shin. I don’t think I’ve ever hurt right there—it’s sort of above where I have had shin pain after running. Odd. So I think I’m going to just walk today and not do step or anything. We are going to walk out into the village later—there’s a street fair going on and I need to go by the library.

I still haven’t decided which workouts to do this week—a 3-day split using 4DS or Amy’s Slo-Mo series.

Kristi, I never had Shiner until I started dating my husband (an Aggie, by the way). I never even liked beer until dating him, actually. Leave it to an Aggie to teach me how to enjoy beer. Good job getting that workout in even when you felt sluggish!

Robin, it’s understandable that you haven’t been able to post much—you’ve been busy having a great weekend! What workout are you doing today?

Tneah, so is your DH thinking of making boat living a year round thing or something?

Peggie, I’ve also considered doing the GS workouts this week. I’d better decide before tomorrow at least….

Leanne, glad you seemed to enjoy the babysitting in spite of the floating poop. ;) I have had those occur, but luckily not very often. And yes, the boys are extremely energetic.

OK, getting ready to do our walk.

Hi everybody! I’m back in Melty Land. Had a full full weekend and couldn’t really play as much as I wanted.

First of all *hopping up and down ever so slightly so as not to scare her away with any big, sudden movements*, my heart is smiling to see Shelley posting more on this Melty thread! Really nice to have you around more, sugah-pie. I hope your brain is leaving you alone a little more these days. The song on the iTrains that I loathe and despise is the one of the man talking in short phrases, almost like preaching. He’s going on and on about accepting responsibility and something about destiny… I just find it so freaking distracting and irritating. It’s featured on the website samples of iCycles 17 and 21 I believe. WTG on the PR!!! Dangit, just read the part about your SO quitting… but I echo what Tneah said. One door closes, another opens. Sending you strength and love…

Robin – that picture you posted of the park is so gorgeous! I hope you had a wonderful time, but something tells me that you most certainly did! So Greyor lives with you? SERIOUSLY LMAO about your reference to Shelley’s SO moving in with Leanne. Honestly woman, you’re a riot! :7

Tneah – the thought of you and DH tooling around on bikes together makes my heart all melty! ;) I like birds too. I used to work for an ornithologist in undergrad, and I was SO GOOD at hearing a bird and knowing exactly which one it was. He told me I needed to keep a “life list” and record the places I was and the birds I saw. Never did that, but I’ve been in some really interesting places and seen some amazing birds! I love that you’re piqued to it. Do you think I could do that iTrain just using the bike and TM? I’ve toyed with getting those circuit ones, but not sure how they would work without all the “right stuff.” LMAO about Grace scaring you – she scares me sometimes with her whooping too. Causes me acoustic trauma… I think I am going to borrow your phrase if I may… “love handlers.” I LOVE IT. Well, not my love handlers, but the phrase. Too cute. I cannot imagine you have any squish, but as I have learned about you (easily identifiable since pot… meet kettle) you are so hard on yourself and how you look. But you really don’t need to be (easier said of course… again, pot/kettle). You are a gorgeous woman, and I know you work hard for your bod! *breaks into a version of “she works hard for the money” instead inserting “body” for “money”*

(has read all the talk about cellulite, but refuses to discuss it at this juncture)

Ms Leanne dear – I am so sorry about the anxiety. Yes, Xanax might help for a quick calm-down. There are 2 kinds, one fast acting and one slow release. I’m not afraid of pharmaceuticals, though I try not to use them often. If you need help, you need help right? I consider a few glasses of wine self medication, too. :p And you talking about needing your space and all – we all get that! And no, that is not self-absorbed. You have GOT to be able to talk to someone about it, and vent like mad – and I’m glad you can do that here! How did the babysitting go? Oooh, read on. Floating poop? YIKES. Just KPC or kettlebell that b!tch at brunch if she makes a tacky reference in your direction. Danigt, we can get the posse together and beat her up, then off the adrenaline, we can go kick BILs arse. *her dukes are up yet again* Women can be so snarky. Why is that? She’s probably intimidated by your precious spirit. Thanks for saying you missed me *blushes*. SO SWEET.

Linda – so what do you do full-time? Your life sounds so full and busy! I am a fellow wine-lover myself. So you can add me to Tneah and Robin and now I see Kristi too loves her wine! ;) Ohhhhh Vermont. Mmmmm. Such a lovely place! DH and I used to frequent areas around you for fall foliage trips.

Kristi – glad to see you’re back and that you had a nice time! Where is the beer flavored ice cream place? DH would probably love to try that. ;)

Lainie – Yes, I’m the INFP! I mean, I haven’t taken that bloody thing in eons, so it might be fun to take it again and see if I’ve changed. And darling, you don’t have to ‘splain your alcohol consumption to me! I would never thing you’re a lush! I enjoy my vino and make few apologies for it. If I work with Tneah’s Mr Trainerman, I’m going to have to say “bye-bye” to it for 12 weeks. Totally doable, but not as funnable. ;) So HOW in the world did you get an inflamed epiglottis???? LORD I bet that hurt. The good news is you can swallow perfectly fine even without an epiglottis, but if it’s all swollen and hurty – then that’s a different story! OUCH!!!!

Peggie – you make me laugh. I feel like I can HEAR you talking when I read your posts. You are a workout machine!

Where’s Shannon? When does Allie come back from NY with studley? Hi to anyone else I did not mention above! BBL to check in.

Hey again everyone. Well I decided the rotation I will be doing for the rest of the time before the RT. It is Cathe's rotation from--it looks like from 2004. It is just called November rotation. It tells me that I will be able to train hard each day since I will work opposing muscle groups. I can expect to build lean muscle mass, get great definition and burn body fat. I have to remember though that to get maximum results I must eat clean, sleep well, drink extra water and increase my protein slightly to aid in muscle tissue recovery. I can't wait for all that stuff to happen. If you guys have not guessed it by now, I am a huge sarcastic smart arse. I am totally that way at work too. All the guys are afraid of me. One of the guys at the drug task force had a lady chew him out at the coffee shop and he said he wished I would have been there to tell her off. I told him I was not like that in real life. I am only that way at work. Really, I am just a big talker, but when it comes right down to it, I am a chiken, bawk, bawk.

Anyway the rotation looks good. I tis slow and heavy and pyramid and kpc. I am excited. I will still have to throw that KB workout in there somewhere too.

BG! You are too much girl--hilarious. You should write for a comedian or something, you remind of Chelsea Handler...she has a few books out, one called "Are you there vodka, it's me Chelsea?":p Ditto on the meds, I carry mine around "just in case", I have only had to use them like 5 times a year, but those attacks can be so scary, thought I was having a heart attack the first time it happened. Yuk.Its strange, I got so used to NOT drinking wine on the program that when I had a glass I found it replusive...well we can see that "repulsion" did not last long!}( I love a good glass or two of white...never red. Too "tanny" or whatever is in that stuff, makes my mouth scrunch up and I gag. Lovely. So I am not a wine sophisticate by any means, in fact I have been known to purchase what my DH likes to call "Box O'Wine".:p Hey, they have some good ones out now and you don't have to worry about recorking and all that right?

Leanne, I refer to the woman you have to dine with as a "CC"...Catty Cow.:) Hag. I am hating on her already, she is probably just jealous and insecure, otherwise how in the world could anyone be mean to you? Yuk on the floating poop..seems to be going around...I posted about spotting a floating poo ball a few days back...Such a darling girl that Clementine, with the best name ever! But why do kids poop in the tub?Lainie bug, have any insight on this one??

I have peed in the shower. OK! C'mon, you don't actually get out of the shower if you have to pee do you? Oh dear...TMI..please don't make fun of me.:p I mean your there washing everything, it just goes down the drain right? Hum, maybe I should erase that last confession...have no idea why I felt the need to share this morning..

Peggy, isn't Kyra cute? But Kevin Bacon sorta grosses me out for some reason. In every movie he has been in since Footloose, he has felt the need to get naked. And believe me, it ain't nothin' to look at! A very skinny white boy with a very skinny flat arse...nothing against skinny white boys with flat butts at all, but he parades around like he has Matthew McCaughney's body...but hey, body confidence is a good thing, who am I to judge?

Lainie bug, good for you chica! I am soo happy to hear you got some nice rest! Yeah!:7 And the kids must have been super tired too, they slept in as well. Another big Yeah!:7 I need to hunt down that personality test, I did take it a long time ago, but forgot what I was?Enjoy your walk around the village, that sounds so romantic, like you live in a little Italian town near the shore...BTW, on Fox this morning, Dr. Izzy payed tribute to the doctor you mentioned, it was very touching, I had never heard of him, but it seems he was a very well respected and loved doctor. Thought of you and hoped you saw it!

Well, today is my rest day, I just got done touching up my roots, I used a color that was too dark, now instead of grey roots, I have brown ones...lovely. Not sure which is worse...Need to make a salon appointment ASAP!
We are going back to Coronada Island for lunch...:9 I promise to be good, since this whole dang week has been one big cheat for me. Yeah, I even bought peanut butter...I know better, I can power through a jar of that in two days!

Hope everyone is having a swell Sunday...:+

I just took the test...I am a "ISFJ" and share this with such luminaries as Jimmy Carter, Fredric Chopin and Jane Fonda. Hum, very interesting...
