Hi Everyone,

I am just starting things off. Not sure what I will be doing today. DH and youngest daughter and I are off on vacation with the neighbours later today. We are sharing a cottage and then we will head off to montreal for a bit of a road trip for a few days. My eldest and all her friends are staying in the house - yikes!

Have a great workout and a good weekend. If I can check in while away - I will - not sure if we will have wifi
 
Hi Everyone,

I had a crappy workout. My body is sore from so much skogg but i tried cardio anyway. I did 20 minutes of Cathe live hardstrikes. I added on 15 minutes of another low impact cathe live. then i did 65 weighted squats and added on a short cathe stretch. i should just have listened to my body and not worked out at all! blah.

Sorry Ceci, sometimes, just sometimes our body knows best but our minds say otherwise [emoji17].

Since hubby went out and I had laundry to do, but I took advantage of him being gone and went through my newest circuit workout again. Went straight through it like I was teaching it and it went well, even timed the cooldown to end with the music (sometimes I go over a bit).

I was pleased, so that was a 62 minute circuit workout [emoji3].

Hi ladies. Ceci, I've had more and more of those days lately. I'm thinking menopause. I'm 52. It sucks when your brain says YES but your body is saying HELL NO! Ive rarely taken rest days but with my body talking to me.....I must. I really do come back more energized though. Yesterday was meh. Today I did 4 Day split Kickboxing. Loved every second of it!! Annette I really wish I could take one of your classes. Road trip to Annette's!!!!! I hope everyone is doing well. I hope Elsie checks in soon. Gettin worried.
 
Hey tlc93....Sorry I should know your first name I think. I'm in the thick of menopause, so I can commiserate with you about it for sure.

I did a 1:45 bike ride yesterday. The heat has abated somewhat, which is great. I felt really good. The end of the ride had a few steep hills and I was very strong on them.

I've lost 9 pounds, and I feel really good. I have 19 to go. My BMI is 26. I'd like it to be around 23.
 
Hi Missy. My name is Peg. I'm terrible with names, no worries. Menopause is crappy! I've had hot flashes so bad I started taking black cohosh. It's helping, I'm grateful for that. I hate waking up at night on fire too. I already get lousy sleep, but to then wake up and realize you're sweating grrrrrr! Anyway, today I did the Live Fit tower from the road trip. It was very nice actually. I might just like it better than the DVD. I'm still a tad disgruntled that I didn't make it into the road trip......I never have. It sells out in minutes! Have a great day everyone.
 
Peg, I will remember. I take Neurotonin for the hot flashes. It helps a lot. I sleep better on it, and it helps with restless leg, which bothers me sometimes.

I've never tried to do the road trip. I would love to go someday.
