Hi ladies!
I am back again.
I have been off work for the past 3 weeks. The first two we spent in the south of France relaxing in a mobile home on a 5 star campsite. Not sure about the stars, but the pools were great and not far from our home and there was even an indoor fitness center with air co. It wasn't huge, just 3 or 4 treadmills and other cardio machines, several squat racks and lots of KB and dumbbells. So seeing all I needed as some DB and space where it was not 37 degrees like outside this worked out fine for me. I did 5 long workouts there in the two weeks we were there. I made notes with all exercises based on reviews of some of my favorite dvd's. My favorite one was Ice MM, all exercises from all of them, so working the whole upper body. The notes were needed as there was no internet in the fitness area. My mobile couldn't even get a signal there! Other days my workouts were hikes or walks through Monaco, Cannes etc. And trust me, with my big belly and that heat, that was workout enough for me. For the rest I spent a lot of my vacation in France reading in a hammock in the shade. Pure bliss!
We got home Monday night and this whole week we have been real busy finishing the kids' rooms, which included two trips to IKEA and lots of walking. I got my daily burn and steps in just moving about the house, and unfortunately not spending as much time reading and relaxing as I had hoped, but at least when I return to work tomorrow I will not be leaving lots of stuff half done. This week I also went for a long bike ride into town with my son, but that did not feel great. Long walks and bike rides are starting to get uncomfortable.
Today after I finished lots of stuff around the house I made time for a real workout. My workout room is now (as of today) once again available! Yeah! So much better than using the living room or trying to find somewhere else to do my workouts.
Today I did KCM Your Best Body workout 1 with cardio rests. Great workout!
Now I will be reading back through all of your check ins from the past couple of weeks to see what everyone has been up to.
