Hi Everyone,

Today I did Daily Burn arms + a 15 minute cardio/body weight workout + my own stretch.

I am not working this weekend which is great and... we have a new cleaning person who scrubbed my house top to toe. I love a clean house.

Enjoy this lovely weekend.

Hi Siobhan! Late check in for me. Thanks for getting us going again. I have a lady coming to my house to clean in a week. I'm looking forward to it. During our conversation and looking around the house She said "Cleaning is my zen"....to which I replied "Come see MY zen in the basement". I showed her my workout space. She was funny saying she had no idea what these pieces of torture were. How do you use this thing, what is that? Etc. It was cute.

Today I did another Cathe Live Muscle max with step. No cardio, just a bunch of weights and the barbell. It was nice.

I hope everyone is doing well. Have a great night.

Hi ladies,

Siobhan - thanks for getting us started. I worked out yesterday start of the afternoon after I had driven Magnus to his 5th training of the week, so I probably could have gotten us started when I was done. Sorry.

I tried one of my new Beachbody workouts... the newest that had just arrived Friday: Core de Force. I did the first w:eek:: MMA speed, which is just 26 min. 6 rounds of 3 min I think, kicks and punch combo's. 1min combo 30 sec spike, followed by combo and spike. All very doable until the last spike, which was ground to fighter stance. Even modified version of walking down into plank and getting up again was not doable for me. Anything that involves either getting on my stomach or floor to standing quickly just gets replaced by something else to get my HR up. Anyways - simple kickboxing workout and I like Jericho. I know her from one of my old Jackie Warner dvds. But fun factor is not really there. BodyCombat is more fun if you ask me and more variety.

Afterwards I did GymStyle Back, shoulders and bi's timesaver. Such a good w/o!

Later in the afternoon I took Magnus to a bday party. Live combat... outdoor laser gaming, military style in the woods and dunes. He had a blast. So much more fun than the indoor version and it was 1.5hrs. Fortunately it stopped raining just before the party started. During the party I went off to some shops and then when I got back I hiked up into the park to take a peek. Heading into the area was a steep uphill path. By the time I had made it to the top my HR was 150!

Once home at night I felt my lower back and stomach and knew it was time to take it easy. I am feeling it more and more as the pregnancy progresses. I will be absolutely fine, even working out but then being out and about on errands or commuting to and from work, suddenly drains my body. Fortunately all it takes is taking it easier for a bit, relaxing with a good book and I feel fine again.

Have a lovely Sunday.

Hi Everyone,

I did more Daily burn - I love the live to fail program coupled with 6-10 minutes of intense total body cardio after.

Henriette - I am so awed by your motivation and enthusiasm. You take every drop you can from your days, it seems

Peg - Our lives have become so busy but since I feel so guilty about hiring a woman to clean my house - I always way over pay - but then I feel less guilty so it works.

Have a great day friends. Today we are off to do some apple picking, I am seeing a client tonight at the office and the rest is just small chores and errands.

I hope to see you all tomorrow.

Hi gals ,

Today I strapped on my 2 pound ankle weights and grabbed my 2 pound each walking hand weights and took a 64 minute circuit walk. I jogged, I did hammer and bicep curls, kickbacks, front raise, side laterals and rows, even walked backwards some all while walking around our town. I am sure I looked silly to some, but a young boy on a bike asked me if I was getting my workout in and I said yes.

Now I am beat[emoji27][emoji31]!

See ya tomorrow!

Hi everyone. Siobhan, I agree. We get very busy and it leaves no time for a clean house. Plus I believe our precious time off should be spent doing other things. I just like to have someone come to my house and give it a good scrub down now and then. It's always worth it! Henriette you really are impressive. I'm glad you're still able to do a lot because it does feel good to move. Annette, I've walked like that too but I'm in my basement on the treadmill. You have courage to walk backward in public! I would probably fall.

Today was a Cathe Live step cardio. I just wanted a straight forward cardio day. This did the trick.

Thinking if you Elsie. Have a great night everyone.

Peg, we have a gentleman in our town that ONLY walks backwards. He is interesting to watch and I am surprised he doesn't trip or hit something. I only do it for 8 steps at a time.

Hi Ladies,

I am late with my Sunday check in.
Sunday I took it easy and just did stuff around the house and relaxed and made sure to get my steps in with a longish walk in the evening.

A cleaning lady is definitely a lovely luxury... unfortunately one we do not have. We tried it for a couple of weeks, but we just weren't happy with what she did for the amount we paid her, so we went back to doing it ourselves. Fortunately we split all housework, so it is not all down to me and we stick to the necessities. So our house may not be scrubbed from top to bottom, but it is not messy nor really dirty... perhaps just a bit dusty at times. Some people get a kick out of dusting several times a week, but those people do not include me. I would rather w/o or relax with a book when I have a bit of free time. Perhaps when I go on maternity leave I will get the "nesting" bug and start doing more.
