Hi Everyone,

I started the day off with - EDT bi's/shoulders and a standing ab workout. I added on AOLIH. I can't get over how much xtrain music inpires me like no other. I can do these workouts over and over again which is not like me. I bore easily.

Have a great day everyone. It's sunny here. I am working a bit today - just two clients which is great for the long weekend.

Linda - I work a long day on tuesdays as well - 1.5 hours extra - and you are right - it wipes out the rest of the day for me

Henriette - i hope you give edt a try.

Elsie - re: EDT - see - you know a little about everything. i wonder if your birthday number (day/mth/yr) encompass most of the quadrants, making you well-rounded. hmmmm

See you all tomorrow. Happy workouts today.

Good morning everyone! Raining here, not hard, but enough! Kinda' cool too, I hate to do Vac Max when
It is gloomy & raining, I think I am trying to make excuses, huh? LOL....just curious as to how old we all
Are? Is it "against the rules"? I am probably the oldest, 62. Some days I feel it too!!! Everyone have a
Good Saturday...Henriette, I used to do latch-hook, I loved it, something like what you do, only easier I
Think!

Well, I talked myself out of vac max today. I did do a gliding disc workout, and am doing laundry, so the day won't
Be a Total loss....my dog is having some sort of things going on and it happened this morning, so that just put me
Into a down mood, I have an appt for his checkup this Thursday so I hope all will be ok until then. I love him so,
I don't know what I would do if something happened to him, I don't even like to think about it...every one have a
Good Saturday.

Hi Girls,

Yesterday (Saturday) I tried EDT. I read up abt it first and checked some YouTube clips. I ended up doing 3 15min PR's. First chest press and undergrip rows for my back using 9kg dumbells. Then 15min bicep curl and lying tricep extensions using 5 kg. And finally set was houlders 4kg lateral raise and 5kg upright rows. In all 3 rounds I was exhausted by half way... Wondering how to keep going, but I did. The last PR reall had my HR up high as well. I think weights were ok for chest/back, bicep I can go heavier and triceps was one of the most challenging with lateral raise a close second. I finished my upper body work out off sith sagi six way (shoulder exercise from Body Beast) and in & out ab tucks. I was surprisingly happy working out without a dvd just using a hip hop workout mix on YouTube. I think as long as I come prepared and know what I will be doing for my 15 min sections and find it challenging enough I will enjoy the music and not feel lonely. As long as I get my Cathe fix on another day... And also still do some fun dance, step and kickbox. So many choices.

Now it's Sunday morning and I definitely feel that my upper body got worked hard yesterday. My least sore area is probably bi's, but like I said I should up the weights there.

I will read more about EDT and prepare some more trainings.
Siobhan - do you stick to the same 2 moves for the full 10-15min session? Do you have any good suggestions that you like pairing together?

Linda - you don't seem any older than the rest of us in your posts. Age is nothing but a number, right? I just turned 35 although I often say I'm 30. That just seems to be the right age for where I am at in life [emoji6] I've even had close friends and my bf's kids get confused abt my real age. I have been mistaken for my son's nanny a few times... For the expat community I was a rather young mom.

I have yet to decide what my workout will be today. I feel like some cardio and fun, but no jumping or running allowed [emoji30]

Elsie - re: EDT - see - you know a little about everything.
And an expert in nothing. LMAO!!

I feel the same as you with the Xtrains I have Ceci ....no boredom with those!
Enjoy your rainy rest day Annette .....well deserved! Anything planned for for the holiday weekend?
Aquagirl, I will be 38 come my birthday in December. I think Henriette is the youngest here! Oh, I do hope everything is alright with your dog. Keep us updated. I have a 15.5 yr old cat & I just cherish her so. :) They are family.
Enjoy your DOMS Henriette!!

Hi everyone., yesterday was a gloomy rainy day....I was able to get in another workout, about 30 min with tubing & weights, along with the
gliding disc workout I did. So workout wise, I did good! But, I didn't clean, so I always feel awful when I don't get that done., hopefully,
later today & tomm. maybe I will tackle it. Thanks for your good vibes on my doggie, the rest of yesterday was ok, I didn't see him have
any more spells.....Henriette, his name is Coco, he's about 14 yrs old, I 've had him about 9 yrs, I had gotten him from the shelter so his age
isn't definite., he's a Chihuahua mix...and quite the companion. I had gotten him after my Pom, Barney, died in my arms one morning.,
I won't even go there......He was about 12 yrs old and had developed heart problems....Coco sheds hair so much, that's why I always feel
that I must clean & vacuum each week...but like my mom used to tell me, "Linda, don't worry about it, it's (the dirt, etc) not going anywhere
and it'll be there when you do" LOL......I need to try to get to the grocery store today too, didn't even do that yesterday ! Everyone have a
great day... ( I guess I'll be the "grandmother" of this group !!!!) Most people tell me I don't even look close to being 62, so I guess I'm
lucky in that way.

Hi ladies,

Linda - that must have been heartbreaking having Barney die in your arms. As a teenager we had a cocker spaniel, but unfortunately she passed away 10 years ago. I still dream about her and have even woken up in tears when in my dreams I realized she was no longer with us.

Today I signed up for Shine Fitness today and did the current class. I used my mobile and Chromecast and unfortunately there was quite some buffering. Not bad enough to make me stop, but occassionally it got annoying with the picture freezing, while the audio was still going. As for the class... It was fun, sometimes a little confusing, but not too bad. Unfortunately I can't say it was love at first sight. I will give it a few days, perhaps keep it for a month, but I don't see myself keeping it. It's good for now as it is easy to modify it so my shins won't suffer.

After this hour of dancing I moved on to an older leg workout and barre to feel more burn.

Elsie - I am feeling the DOMS from my first EDT and I love it! Will definitely be going back for more.

This weekend went by way to quickly once again. No way near enough time for everything I would like to have done. I am glad I have done my workouts during the day so I can relax with crochet & Netflix tonight.

Thanks so much Linda & Henriette for sharing your furbaby stories here. :) Glad to hear your CoCo has been doing a little better today. Attachments and affections for our furry loved ones are just as significant as others, I feel. My senior cat & I have a strong bond. It is powerful to me. She has helped me through some rough times and through homesickness. I try to volunteer with a mule & horse therapy program when I can. Animals offer special attributes to healing that people cannot reach. That is just my experience with it anyway.

What's up on Netflix tonight Henriette? I am planning on watching (not on Netflix) Victoria. On Netflix right now, we are watching Shetland. Great show.

I may get in a quiet (pilates maybe) workout routine, due to living above folks now, a bit later.

Take care!
