Weekend check in Saturday January 28, 2017

Hi Everyone,

Today I did 30 minutes of cathe live boxing/cardio - i stopped after 30 minutes as it was not powerful enough to stop my ruminating mind. But you know what does? Hardstrikes! I did the whooooooooooole thing! I am in love. Oh Cathe, please put together something identical to hardstrikes, the music, the moves, the jumping jacks - I love it, love it, love it.

Great workouts yesterday ladies. TLC - i see you've fallen for Mike - just like I have. He is pretty funny - swears a bit though!

Pretty much a rest day, but I walked a gun show for 75 minutes at a leisurely pace but never really stopping.

I slept later than usual today so felt quite rested. XTrain Cardio leg blast with bonus core plus the 100 hip thrust challenge....extra stretch! Can someone come to my house and get me off the floor?! My legs are shaking.

(((Siobhan))) how are you doing today? I am very sorry to hear of your experiences with anxiety. It is not a simple thing to live with & a lot isn't understood about it. It might be menopause, but it also might just be straight up anxiety. Hormones affect our neurochemistry. You know this, though as you work in the field. Are you getting enough magnesium? Anyway, if it happens regularly, please do not brush it off and see a doctor you can talk to. Take good care. Please share whenever you need to!!

Henriette, your bball sure keeps you moving! You must never put on any weight. That show sounds really interesting (I will have to see if NetFlix Canada has it yet. Thanks for the recommendation)! I do know a wee bit of French and Flemish. 'The Team' kinda seems like 'The Bridge' with the Danish & Swedish. That one is funny. I LOVE Saga!!

S&S Giant Sets gave me some real nice DOMS, so today I did a quick 7 minute pilates core workout and a Bendy Body 20 minute flow from youtube.

Good morning girls, hope everyone is having a good weekend. Yesterday, I had a busy day, after finishing cleaning & laundry, I visited my
SIL in the hospital and then did my "grocery run" but finally last evening I was able to get in a 30 min blender RWH compound with
finishers workout. I liked that one (first time I did it), a couple compound exercises followed by a couple finishers and then repeated that
again, with different exercises, all from RWH. I hope to do the latest CatheLive weight workout from Thursday, Strong & Lean Reps? (or
something like that) today, since it's an hour, it's really hard for me to do a total hour workout, all at once ! (time-wise) but I hope to get
it done later today. Hope everyone is well. Elsie, how is Mouser doing?

Thanks for your support re: my little episode that other day. I recovered quickly but it still hurts nonetheless to have this stuff happen. And you are correct elsie - it only happens rarely but... it's there! heart pounding and hard to speak at times.

Today I did my own WB of PLB/cross fire cardio intervals + xtrain biceps/shoulders burn sets - that was a solid 1.05 hour workout and so much fun. Forgot how fun cross fire is.

So many great workouts this weekend ladies. Missy - whoa! long workout and TLC - cardio leg blast is looooong for me cos it's tough. I've done the just cardio premix before which keeps ya hoppin'!
 
Hi ladies,

Yesterday (Saturday), my son played a bball game with another team and I was assistant coach. The game was in the morning so I missed my strong cup of tea (I don't drink coffee, but I drink my tea very black with milk... Really English. A cuppa builders brew). In the afternoon I had splitting headache and realized this lways happens when I don't drink my morning teac becuz I am all over the place or know I won't be able to go pee whenever I need to.

So rather than working out in the afternoon, I took painkillers nd ran errands in town (lots of walking) and when I got home I still didn't feel any better so I just relaxed with a book.

Today I made up for it. I did Afterburn, doubling up on interval 10 (the last one) and then I figured I could make time for a bit more before we had to leave for an away game with my son's normal team. So I decided to go with a fun w/o. I ended up doing Party Rockin' Step. I love that one! Nothing tricky about it. I have done it often enough that I can just really get into the music and enjoy the sweat flying everywhere. Such a difference after Afterburn. That one is good, but hard work. The step was just fun, fun, fun. So it ended up being a 2 hr w/o.

At the away game rather than wait inside while the kids got changed I decided to go for a 30min walk and now that I am home and relaxing with my legs up I can feel how active I have been today. It felt gr8 though! I wish I had time for a doubles more often, although to be honest I probably didn't have time for it today... It's Sunday night and I have not finished folding all the laundry, but I just don't see it happening anymore. Oh well... Another day. It's my home, my rules and priorities, right? [emoji13]
 
I just finished CatheLive Strong & Lean Reps...WOW, it was a harder weight workout, but I loved it! :). I don't think I will be adding on anything else this evening...after that....although after I rest up, you never know:). But if I do,
It will definitely be cardio only, that much I do know...
 
It's amazing what a little rest will do for ya', I ended up doing a 30 min. Blender kickbox workout after all!

Sounds like you drink your tea like me Henriette! Of course, my lot are from Newfoundland by way of Somerset (West Country England), so that is how we have it!! I have cut out the sugar from it, though. ;) Having a diuretic like black tea before 4 in the day is good for women with any fluid retention ....so yeah, you need to pee!!!

I didn't think I had much time today, but got the kitchen chores done in a hurry and then did a Suzanne Bowen 30 min cardio tone & Cathe Leg Conditioning drills (18 min) from LBB. Felt real good today!!

Linda, thanks for asking about my moo!! She is pretty good these days. No major issues. Just doesn't like getting those sub-q fluids. :) How about your Coco?
