Weekend Check-in Saturday, January 24th & Sunday, January 25th, 2026

Good Morning Ladies,

I was up early this morning so managed 30 minutes of LMR2 for back/biceps/shoulders - I stopped 5 minutes before the cool down (so 30ish minutes). I added on a 10 minute KB workout for shoulders instead. I will stretch now.

Stay warm friends. It is c-c-c-cold outside. We're at -20 but my DDs in Ottawa are at almost -30 (and they have a dog to walk :( ).

normally weekends (Sat/Sun) are my rest days, but, due to this upcoming weather, I decided to go ahead and do my planned Monday workout today......(while I feel like it :)), and plan my rest days for
Sun & Monday. Although they might be ShovelMax days.........

So, Today's workouts are: (which would have been Monday)

YT-Rhonda Fitz Fitness - "Kettlebell workout with no Swings" - 20 min.
YT-CrossRope- "Chest, Triceps, Shoulders & RL Jump Rope Burn" - 18 min.
Hydrow CT- 10 min. Rowing & Weights AMRAP

Great job on all your amazing workouts done today, bravo way to get it done:)

I did plan to workout today, but I'm still experiencing some DOMS in my arms and also feeling a bit under the weather with a cold. So this turned into an unscheduled rest day, and I usually Sundays' off so I guess this a rest weekend. Needless to say with all that resting I will likely back on track Monday, fingers crossed.:)

Nicki- so sorry about your leg bothering. I hope you can get some answers and relief soon - I'll keep you in my prayers;)

Yesterday I did about a 45 minute bodyweight workout from YT. It was challenging and I wakened in the night with DOMS in my back shoulder area.

Great job on everyone's workouts (and rest weekends :) ).

Nicki - I hope this is the year you figure out what the heck is going with your leg. This sounds so frustrating.

Thank you! That is my number one goal for this year - find out what the heck is going on with my leg and get it fixed!!!
