Weekend Check-in, Sat.&Sun., March 4&5, 2017

I was typing and you beat me to it.

Today , Billy was feeling left out [emoji6] so I did his Advance Taebo #11, 47 minutes of it.

I am on a mission to try and lose 10 pounds before we attend my cousin's wedding on April 14th.

So anyway, I get my hair permed this afternoon.

Have a great day!

Hi ladies,

I ended up having an extra rest day yesterday. Out game og Monopoly after dinner took all night. Doesn't it always? Anyways it was the last day of the school break and has my son had spent the last two days at the office with me, the least I could do was play a boardgame of choice.

Today I made up for it with doubles. First 55min BodyCombat and the S&S Ramped upper body. I am feeling my shins pretty badly today... I guess all those basketball games I played with the kids this week sprinting back and forth was just too much for me. [emoji47]

Have a lovely weekend.

After clean max, :), I did a 25 min. Cardio Slam upper Body circuit blender mix. Another short, but sweet & fun one!

Hi Everyone,

Today I did my own workout blender for lower body. I added on my upper body finisher which is really changing things up. It's reps of 20, 15, 10, 5 of... standing military presses (12's) bicep curls (12's), push ups + bent over rows (15's). You do all four moves at 20 reps, then all moves at 15 reps etc... You do this non-stop until you are finished. wow! Try a few times over the course of a week - great plateau buster.

Have a good evening everyone. See you all tomorrow.

Me again, got in another blender workout, this one a 35 min. Cardio(slam) Core Circuit. Three rounds of four
Cardio drills ( floor, step,& mat) with 2 core/ab exercises in each round. Another fun one! Have a good night.

Good evening everyone! Great workouts too! I did Cathes Step, jump and pump today. Felt great as I DO Love my cardio. Did anyone preorder the Fit tower workouts? I did. I love Cathe and even though there's a handful of her newer workouts that are mediocre for me.....I still preorder anything she does. Can't help it!

Hey girls, yesterday did I quickie follow along Tricep workout with Scott Herman/youtube. Quick but tough!! Am having a very busy weekend, so will likely check back in with you all on Monday. :)

Yes, finishers do make all the difference don't they Ceci! Your blenders always look really challenging.
Annette, hope you like your new do! I got a hair cut and root touch-up with demi gloss this week. Feels awesome! Wish the roots didn't grow out so quickly. I go to the hair school cause it's far too expensive at the salons (living in a city anyway).
Nice blenders Linda. Hope your weekend has been great. Do you ever just say eff it to house chores? Sometimes I find there is just no end to it! lol.
Oh Henriette, I love board games! Scrabble is my fave I think! I hope you can have a nice epsom soak this weekend for your shins.
Peg, I know you love your cardio! I wish I liked it more. After doing Intensity this week, I realize that I ought to do cardio way more often. It nearly killed me! As far as Fit dvds are concerned, I am still working out how much I can afford as usual. lol. Also, I don't know how interested in the Bootcamp one I am. I am not a big fan of mixing it with barre. The other two look fabulous however!

Have a nice Sunday!

Did anyone preorder the Fit tower workouts? I did. I love Cathe and even though there's a handful of her newer workouts that are mediocre for me.....I still preorder anything she does. Can't help

Good morning girls, yep, tlc93, you can be sure I preordered the new Fit Tower dvds ! :) I'm like you, I preorder most everything! They will be
on the OnDemand/Blender as well, but I like having the dvds, in case internet out, etc. A girl has got to be prepared !!!!

Good workouts everyone.....yes, Elsie, getting your hair done is quite expensive anymore.....I tend to get a trim about once every 4-5 weeks and
then every other month, I get the ole "pull thru the cap" to bleach out my roots from gray to blonde ! He doesn't pull entire hair strands thru,
only pulls to where he sees the roots change, if that makes sense....I don't have any color put on, my hair is a mix of blonde & light brown,
what I have always called "frosted" or at least that is what it used to be called . I know, Elsie, I try to clean every week, but I don't do everything
every week. Kinda' got a schedule. I'm a "schedule gal".....I do feel like I have to vacuum each week tho' because Coco sheds so much, year-round. It's worse 2 times a year, but I get hair up all the time, but that's ok, that's what vacuums are for....Everyone have a good day, I hope
to get in a workout later, didn't go to grocery store yesterday, so I have to make that trip. I may try & visit my SIL today as well. With working
and all, it's about the only time I have to visit.

Hi Everyone,

This morning I just couldn't get into working out. I had a very late night + I ate a lot of sugar......... serious buzzing in my body this morning. I just don't take in much real sugar at all so I was affected. I finally got it together and did a blender workout of hardstrikes (my mood booster workout - so are cross fire and to the max) + xtrain cardio segments + I threw in the upper body challenge again but upped my weights to 15's. Then I did a 20 minute mindful relaxation meditation as I've been really hard on myself this week :( - I hate that! ugh.

Enjoy the day ladies. Great workouts. And yes, I will likely buy cathe's dvds even though I have the blender. I just love her!

Happy Sunday everyone. I'm with you Annette....rest day. I pulled out Tracey Mallett's Dance fusion cardio melt. It reminds me of Michelle Dozois Body fit 360. So I moved around a bit and stretched. My butt and hips are feeling sore today so stopped early. Now it's couch max!

Hi to all, I was able to sneak in a short Cardio Slam Lower Body Circuit blender workout this evening. That's it
For today!

I did an hour and a half ride yesterday and today. I also did a lot of housework. I'm in a small apartment, so it's very manageable. My dog sheds a lot, so I vacuum frequently.

I spent some time getting my lunches ready for the week.....trying to be a little more prepared so I stick to my eating plan. Hope you all have a great week!

Sunday I did Lean legs & Abs, premix 2, so all the leg work incl. bonus barrre, but no Core work. I guess I should just say I did lean legs. It was my first time doing this dvd, and it wasn't a new favorite. Don't get me wrong, it was good and biking to the shops later on I felt it in my quads and still this morning when biking to the train, but I just didn't love it.

I am starting to think I either prefer all out cardio, like BodyCombat, orther kickboxing or Cathe's step choreographies, or pure strength. MTB and bootcamp are not really my thing. I know lots of people are raving about S&S Bootcamp, but as much as I want to love it, I don't. However, I will return to all these that I don't love, as I know there are benefits of this type of workout, they just won't be the ones I pick when I am not really in the right mood as they are not likely to get me completely into the w/o.

In the afternoon I took my son to some basketball open courts. I purposely didn't bring my shoes and shorts as my shins are not agreeing with all that basketball that I played last week, nevertheless I did end up shooting a bit. My son played for over 3 hours so he sure slept good after that! I think it is a great initiative that they are taking, trying to get more people into basketball without necessarily joining a club. Every Sunday they will arrange open courts from 16-21.00 in 3 different indoor locations around town, and then you just pay per time you go and play games, or 1 on 1 or Horse or whatever with whomever shows up. Not that my son needs more basketball... he already trains 4 days a week and plays one or 2 games on the weekends. However, if you ask him he always needs more basketball. And to be honest I would rather take him somewhere like that on a Sunday afternoon when we have no plans, then have him in his PJ's all day with his iPad or jumping about at home with his mini basketball in his room.

Have a great week everyone!
